Error while creating TO(transfer order) w.r.t delivery note.

I am usiing HU mgmt(Handling Unit Mgmt) with standard WH mgmt.
I hae taken recipt of process order in MB31 transsanction which at the end give Inbound delivry no.
now when i am going to create TO(Transfer Order) w.r.t that delivery no is gives error given below:
" No items or handling units to be placed in storage could be determined"
details:
The inbound delivery does not have any items or handling units for putaway.
i have tried by creating HU(Handling Unit) w.r.t t delivery & then try to create TO the same error was came at that time.

Hi Gurus,
I have already created an outbound delivery. I am creating a transfer request as a basis for goods movement in the warehouse and to print the picking list. so i use the path:
Logistics -> Sales and Distribution -> Shipping and Transportation -> Picking -> Create Transfer Order -> Single Document.
Now here i enter the warehouse number, plant, delivery. when i press enter i get error "No items that are to be picked were found".
I went to the following IMG path -- Enterprise Structure --> Assignment --> Logistics-Execution --> Assign Warehouse number to plant/storage location.
Assign the warehouse to the plan and storage location.
Still i get the same error. Could some one help me out here?

In the B2B process the system is not picking the stock from from sale order stock while creating the transfer order? Please suggest.
Summary : Here we are creating the PR in the sale order and STO is created using the same PR to procure the materials from the WM plant to sale order plant. Since here intialy we are moving the stock to our sale order in WM plant and then picking the same. But while creating the Transfer order system is not picking the sale order stock in WM plant.

Serial number error while creating the production order

Hello frds,
I am getting the following error while creating the production order.
"Item 000000 requires exactly 100 serial numbers for the asset".
If i give 100 serial numbers in the order, the error is solved. But i do not want to assign 100 serial numbers, i want to assign only 2 numbers.
I have tried using the new serial number profile also, but it is giving same error.
Kindly guide.

Select the serial number profile and go to serialization procedure and set the ser. usage status 02 - Optional as below.

since the serail number creation is optional for order relase this will allow you to relase with out error and with serail number assigned in partial.

I can confidently tell that an enhancement or an user exit has been applied in your scenario
You have to check that
Normally when creating a sales order with respect or referring billing documents the qty will be in editable mode and it is standard problem
Your people has solved the standard problem by enhancement
Usually OR--LF-PGI----F2 (SAY THE QTY IS 25 UNITS)
Now you are creating returns order with reference to F2 in the return order type Re there is a standard issue that user can edit the qty to 30 from the original 25
To solve this only your people have used userexit
Line items and qty greyed out means definately there is some enhancement or user exit applied
You have to check that

Error while creating a Planned Order

Hi SAP Experts,
I have an error encountered while creating a Planned Order which is "Mode linkage problem with mode number".
Diagnosis:
An application program called an LCA routine and the following error occurred:
An order has at least one condition with mode linkage with the same mode number. The activities of this condition must have compatible modes. The modes are compatible when each mode of one activity has a mode for the other activity with the same mode number. The first activity that violates the condition is given in the return code table in ABAP.
Please enlighthen me what is this error and what should be done to this error.

Check the PPM or PDS being used in the Planned Order.
Most likely you have a Setup Activity followed by Produce Activity. However the Mode (i.e. Resource) used in the two activities are different. The same Mode needs to be used both in Setup and corresponding Produce activity.

It seems like a problem with the Coherence cache configuration for your installation.
Is your installation clustered?
Is the problem specific to this cartridge (i.e. do orders from other cartridges work well in this environment)?
Suggest you log a problem with Oracle Support and/or try the problem in a different environment.

Message no. 40116".
How to assign specific storage loaction to that particular material.I have assigned in material master "work scheduling tab",But it was throwing an error while doing process order.Pls help me to solve this problem.

Are u using special procurement key "80"? It seems that storage location is not mentioned for the header material in the production plant.
Maintain this using T Code MMSC. It will solve ur issue

Error while creating manual planned order in apo

While I am creating manual planned order i am getting error as message /sapapo/rrp251
Every thing is correct BOM and PV's no error after consistency check and it getting succesfully transffered to APO and it is also visible in APO
But while creating manual planned orders planned order are not getting generated I am using BLock planning with PPDS
Please help How to resolve it

The error message /SAPAPO/RRP251 - Error occurred while creating order means While creating an order, the system encountered problems, such as, for example, no available components or components that are available late, orders that could not be scheduled, and so on.
I think system attempted to solve the availability problems by using alternative procurement options. This was not successful. The order could not be created. Check the exceptional situations in the planning protocol, under Goto -> Planning log, and deal with the causes of the exceptional situations if this is possible or necessary.

I created Purchase Info Record, Source List, but while creating Purchase Order, price is not picking from the purchase order. I am getting an error i.e. Net Value must be greater than 0. Material Listing Error while creating the sales order

I have mantained a material in the lisitng for A002 combiantion for SO/DC/Pric. ref. material
While creating the sales order is throwing an error as material is not listed so the transaction is not possible.
I have done the basic invetingation on the folowing aspects
1)checking the material in the listing
2)Validity periods
3)Material not blcoked
4)Mateial is extened for the respective sales org

How to create automatic Transfer Order for posting change delivery mvt.321?

Hi,
We are using HU with WM functionality; While posting stocks after UD, the system creates a posting change delivery instead of directly posting the stock to unrestricted stock from quality stock.
Now that we have to process the ourbound delivery bu creating a transfer order and confirming it and also do a Post Goods Issue against delivery then only the system posts the stock into unrestricted stock.
Our client doesn't want to go thro' these process steps. They would like the stock to be posted to unrestricted automatically after UD stock posting (movement type 321). Is there a way out to automatically process the posting change delivery in the background including Transfer order creation and confirmation and PGI please?

ERROR WHILE CREATING THE SALES ORDER

Hi,
When creating the sales order i am entering "mode of transport"in TSW details and while trying to save it im getting a message saying "Express document "update was terminated"" recieved from the author "Rahul". If i dont enter the TSW detail while creating i am able to save the order and later in change mode i can enter the mode of transport.
When i check the inbox, it says "definately cannot transfer message to node SMTP due to connection error".
This is hapenning for only one user.
What could be the problem?

I think you need to enter the mode of transport in external details where it will take for further processing. TSW is different process.

Error while creating make -to -order

Respected Gurus,
I am a frequent vistor of this forum, and find it very helpful. I am studying SD processes, and came across error which is not posted on the forum.
While configuring Make-to-order process,
1) I have defined and assigned controlling area for my company code.
2) In MM01 I created material master with required fields such as item category group ( 0001 - make-to-order)
3) In VA01 I have raised an order with my material, and in the sales header>Procurement> Requirement field changed to KE.
Now I get an error : Plant xxxx is not assigned to controlling area.
Could you please guide me.

I checked assignment of the plant to the company code, and also MRP type. Both of them are as per your suggestion.
Not sure how, but the error i mentioned disappeared today, except another one related to FBN1.
I have been able to process MIRO , Invoice and generate the accounting document.
In the VA02 document flow...status of the accounting document is " Not cleared", how to go about it.

Co- Product Error while creating a production order

Hi,
While performing the Co-Products Approtionment at the time of creation of Production order..
we are facing a problem regarding cost apportionment I have crated a Source Structure and the cost element is assigned to that Source Structure but still iam facing this issue
kindly help me out.
the error msg is
Debit with cost element 9460404 cannot be settled.
Message no. KD549
Diagnosis
Costs/revenues exist for cost/revenue element 9460404. This cost/revenue element was given source assignment 40 in the source structure (-> settlement rule for sender -> parameters). However, there is no distribution rule with settlement type FUL for this source assignment or the total of the percentages for the rules is less than 100.
Note:
Full settlement settles all the costs and revenues which have occurred up to the settlement period and have not already been settled. In the case of periodic settlement, you can configure the settlement profile so that all the costs occurring in the settlement period are settled, or if an amount less than 100% can be settled.
Procedure
Maintain the distribution rules for source assignment 40 and settlement type FUL or use periodic settlement to settle less than 100%. Change the settlement profile for the sender as necessary.

Cost and revenue elements receive source assignment " " if you have not entered a source structure in the settlement rule parameters.

Hi Krishna Murthy I went through the note but i couldnt recive a big help from that note.
I will explain the step by step process that i have done.
I am attaching the Screen shots of the issue.
1. For co-products I have created a source structure and Sec. Cost Elements were assigned in the source structure.
2. The source structure was assigned in the Material Master for co-products equally distrubuting the amount between 2 materials.
3. When we are trying to create a production order the error was displayed but the costs was getting calculated properly.
4. When I was settling the production order the same error was getting displayed.
I have tried various methods to resolve it.
1. I have created a periodic settlement rule and tried to settle but it didnt work
2. I have assigned the source structure in the settlement profile this also didnt work.
