Error while deleting the Master data

Hi Friends,
i am getting the below error while deleting the data from a master data:-
The system is unable to delete all of the specified master data,because some of it is still in use. (See log:Object RSDMD, sub-object MD_DEL )
Do you want to delete the data records that are no longer in use?
Could you guide how should i proceed to delete the data.

Hi Hirdesh,
If you are using master data in someother data targets u cant delete master data.So first you have to delete the data in data targets where this particual master data object is used, then remove the data in master data object.

Getting the error while loading the master data

Hi
i have tried to delete the master data using right click and delete master data, but still there are data.
Now i am trying to load this master data again then i am getting the message "0 from 50033 records"
and data load got failed with error message "master data/text of 0vendor already deleted "
and due to this i could not able to load my other infoprovider (which have 0 vendor).
can any body help me, it very urgent...

Hi Raju,
I assume there are no routines written in the update rules and also you ae directly loading the data from R/3 ( not from any ODS). If that is the case then it could be that, the data maintained in R/3 has overlapping time intervals (since time dependency of attributes is involved). Check your PSA if the same profit center has time intervals which over lap. In that case, you need to get this fixed in R/3. If there are no overlapping time intervals, you can simply increase the error tolerance limit in your info-package and repeat the load.

Getting Duplicate data Records error while loading the Master data.

Hi All,
We are getting Duplicate data Records error while loading the Profit centre Master data. Master data contains time dependent attributes.
the load is direct update. So i made it red and tried to reloaded from PSA even though it is throwing same error.
I checked in PSA. Showing red which records have same Profit centre.
Could any one give us any suggestions to resolve the issues please.

'Overlapping Time Intervals' error while loading the Master Data

Guys,
          Need you help with this. I am trying to load the Master Data (attribute) for InfoObject 0FMD_FRSITM using DTP from DataSource 0FMD_FRSITM_ATTR and am getting an error 'Overlapping Time Intervals'.
This is happening due to overlapping Valid From/Valid To date's for the same Financial Statement Item (0FMD_FRSITM) with different Editions.
If I select the option 'Ignore Duplicate Records' while loading the data, it is successful. But not all the records are loads and Editions are missing.
Below is an example of how the data looks like.
FRSITM         Valid To                  Valid From                 Edition
1001             12/31/9999             04/01/2010                2010.1.1
1001             01/31/2010             03/01/2010                2010.1.2
1001             12/31/9999             02/01/2010                2010.1.3
In the above scenario, the Valid To Data for record 1 and record 3 is the same (12/31/9999) and the record 3 is being ignore when I select the option 'Ignore Duplicate Records'.
And also I see that the Edition is not the Key Field.
Any suggestions or ideas? Appreciate your help.

1. While selecting ignore duplicate, make sure to-date is not part of symantic key.
2. if system comes across two same records it picks up the latest one.
3. It shall merge the timelines is overlap is found.
4. I hope Edition is time dependent attribute
I believe infoobjet key is FRSITM Valid To.
In your case because first record has more period and may be the latets record system ignore the earlier one with the same time interval.
have a look at Q table and you shall be able to figure out for your self.

Error while loading the master data into hierarchy

Hi,
When i am trying to load the master data into a hierarchy, it is showing me the following error.
"Invalid Entry, hierarchy xxxxxx does not exist".
Can you please tell me what might be the possible cause for this error.

Have you created a hierarchy, I mean go to Transfer structure->Hierarchy structure
->create hierarchy, put a check of whether it is sorted or time dependent etc. after that while loading data through infopackage just check that you have selected an appropriate hierarchy name in hierarchy selection tab.

Error while loading the master data

Hi Masters,
When I tried to load the master data, data was not loaded. Monitor tells, in YELLOW color (0 records from 0). Status telling following things
Diagnosis
No errors could be found. The current process has probably not finished yet.
System response
The ALE inbox of the SAP BW is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system
and/or
the maximum wait time for this request has not yet run out
and/or
the batch job in the source system has not yet ended.
Current status
No Idocs arrived from the source system.

Hi,
Check the TRFC log.
You can get to this log using the wizard or the menu path "Environment -> Transact. RFC -> In source system".
Removing errors:
If the TRFC is incorrect, check whether the source system is completely connected to the SAP BW. Check especially the authorizations of the background user in the source system.
Resolutions:
Reload the Master Data manually again from Info-package at RSA1.

Error while activating the Master Data InfoSource for attributes

Im trying to load the attributes for master data characteristics .
I created the InfoSource and when im trying to activate it .
Then it gives the following error like below

Procedure
If the problem occurred during the data load or transport, activate the transfer rule.
If the problem persists, search in the SAP note system under 'RSAR 245'
So please tell the what is the error and how to resolve this issue.
And pls give the error 'RSAR 245' message from SAP note system.

a) 'Obsolete' communication structure:
            Due to an optimization algorithm, pressing the 'Generating button' does not have any affect on the communication structure. Therefore, use the following workaround:
Select 'Communication structure' -> 'Change'.
Add any InfoObject (for example, '0MATERIAL') to the communication structure -> 'ENTER'.
Communication structure ---> 'Save'
Selet the InfoObject you inserted and delete it.
Communication structure ---> 'Save'
Communication structure -> 'Generate'.
a) Message: <table name> is already declared. Check whether the local part of your routines contains TABLE statements. TABLE statements always have global validity and should therefore be in the global part of the routine.
b) If the error occurs when data is being loaded, the transfer rule should be generated using RSA1.
In many cases, generating transfer rules using RSA1 results in a detailed error message.
2. Error code:
           Program to be generated is locked by parallel process.
This error can sporadically occur if parallel processes simultaneously try to generate the same program.
Unfortunately, you cannot completely prevent the error from occurring since these types of lock situations can still crop up during data loading in parallel processes. We are currently working on improving system stability relating to lock situations during the load task.
Reloading usually works without any problems.

Error While Loading the Master Data from R3

Hi Gurus,
I am loading the masterdata from R3.I have enhanced the Datasource .In that datasource there is a field DATUB ( Valid To Date).For this field I have wriiten the User Exit at the R3 side.Now I am loading the data in BW.But I am not getting the values for DATUB field in the BW, though they are there at the R3 side.
I have done following to analyse the issue.
1.Have checked the datasource at the R3 from RSA3.Its populating the field DATUB correctly.
2.Have deleted the whole masterdata and tried to load again.But no success.
3.Have tried to load the data for the perticular Bill of Material(BOM).Then it get loaded correctly along with the value of DATUB.But when i tried loading the entire data i am not getting the field DATUB populated.
Please help me out.Its urgent.

Hello,
I finally got the solution to my problem.
If you append a field to generic datsource then you should check the tick in datasource for "field only". Or else you would not get the values handed over to BW.

while deleting the profit center we have to requrie follow the steps
1) OBR1 - Reset Transaction data
2)OBR2 - Reset the master data
3)OKKS - Set Controlling Area
4)OKC3 - Delete Transcation Data
5) KL14 - Delete Activity Types
6)OKE5 - Profit center De - Active
7)OKE1 - Profit center Transcation data delete
8)OKE2 - profit center delete
if if you follow above steps easily we can make the delete the profitcenter and we donot have to activate profitcenter

The problem occurs during data load from R/3. It was not occuring before. When I go to check the PSA contents I get a runtime error - GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED.
Error analysis
    You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol
    (data segment 32821).
This error may occur if
    - You address a typed field symbol before it has been set with
      ASSIGN
    - You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an
      internal table that was deleted
    - You address a field symbol that was previously reset using
      UNASSIGN or that pointed to a local field that no
      longer exists
    - You address a global function interface, although the
      respective function module is not active - that is, is
      not in the list of active calls. The list of active calls
      can be taken from this short dump.

Error While Uploading GL Master Data in LSMW

Hello Experts,
I am running into error while uploading GL master data in LSMW, I created recording through FS00, then I mapped the fields, it all went good till 13th step, but last step got stuck(Run Batch Input Session), when I am running batch input session, system is showing this message "Function Code cannot be selected"

first can you pls check your Hierarchy mode setting in FS00 - before executing Batch input session -
Open FS00 - go to settings - and Do not display navigation tree select radio button and save it
then Now Run fresh LSMW - your issue will resolve

I am facing the following error while deleting the agreement.
There was an error deleting agreement.
Error -: AIP-16015: Delete of Internal Delivery Channel Usage failed with error: Cannot delete Internal Delivery Channel Usage which is referenced by Participant Delivery Channel
Error -: AIP-16011: Cannot delete Internal Delivery Channel Usage which is referenced by Participant Delivery Channel
We are getting the same error while deleting the individual TP participants from the agreement.
I don't have any agreements deployed on the B2B.
