Error while generating form 16 in portal - Screen output without connection

Dear Gurus,
We are facing error while generating form 16 through portal and getting the below error in portal.
Screen output without connection to user. error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
When we checked for dumps in R/3 the following dump is coming:
DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND with error message :
Message class : FPRUNX
Message number: 102: No job started.
Then we tried to execute the form 16 through R/3 itself using tcode PC00_M40_F16 after putting in the relevant values in the selection screen and then press on PRINT FORM button, but surprisingly the system logs out without giving any error or dump.
We tried doing it repeatedly and once in these attempts we got an error saying Initialization of font server module failed.
We are not getting clue as to why this is happening. <<Text removed>>

Dear,
This might be the problem of Adobe Acrobat Reader. what is the version of Adobe you are using ?? If it 9.0, then uninstall it and reinstall 8.0 and then check .
Could you please check your installed SAPGUI component? If component 'Engineering Client Viewer' is installed, please uninstall
it. And try to call same transaction again.

When I try to book a participant for a course in Learning Solutions Portal, my event/business object gets triggered and i get a SWEL entry, but the RFC status in SWEL gives error saying Screen output without connection to user because of which my workflow attached to the business object is not getting triggered.
Any input as how to solve this error or anything related will be of great help and highly appreciated.

This is probably because the system is trying to output something to screen. This is for an RFC (user) just not possible. When you do this, also have a look at ST22 (short dump). If my assumption is true, then you will also have a dump stating something like: DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND.
So check what the 'coding' is trying to do, and then avoid doing this. Possibly there is a call screen or a pop-up coming along which just can't be processed in background / by RFC.

Error While Generating Form-16 (HR_INF16_2012_B in language EN does not exist)

My client is using SAP ECC6 EHP4 and We recently updated the HR Service Pack to SAPK-60464INSAPHRCIN in order to apply the SAP Note 1829618 - PY-IN: Union Budget Changes for Year 2013.
After upgrading Service Pack we are getting the below error while generating Form-16.
Layout set HR_INF16_2012_B in language EN does not exist

This a Blunder from SAP. And this issue we are getting in almost all the client.
For this we have to download respective Form from Golder client 000 and upload again in our working client.
Better please raise an OSS message with SAP to provide you the steps.

What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC" had to be terminated because it
has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL', was not
caught in
procedure "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')
access a component.
An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)
before it can be used to access components.
Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the
CLEAR statement.
How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:

Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within proedure

What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLSTRD" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
During background processing, the system attempted to send a
screen to a user.
Current screen: "SAPLSTRD " 0351.
How to correct the error
If the error occurred in your own ABAP program or in an SAP
program you modified, try to remove the error.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND" " "
"SAPLSTRD" or " "
"SYSTEM-EXIT"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.

RFC system error: Screen output without connection to user

After running transaction SMWP, we nagivate to the "Parameters for object load management" node using the following path:
Runtime Information -> Adapter Status Information -> Parameters in R/3 Backend(s) -> ECC -> Parameters for object load management
Under the node Parameters for object load management, when we double click any of the entries we receive the following error message in the form of a pop-up: RFC system error: Screen output without connection to user.
Has anyone encountered the aforementioned error?

while creating the syncbo you have to give the RFC destination for corresponding Bapi wrappers
so plz check that.

I created filter. Saved it. If I tried edit it - it was allow. But after some time and after I used it in a query I trying edit the filter and can't do it! My rsplan portal page write to me:

What happend? What I need to do? I try delete filter from query but it isn't make it editable.
Another bug: I can delete this filter and can copy them into new filter. But when I delete it and try copy another filter to deleted technical name then system said that "element with same name already exist". How to delete the filter correctly?
One more bug:
I work with russian language. And on personalisation page of portal options I selected "Russian (Russia)" (There are variant simply "Russian" in list of langs but I tried it too with the same result) BUT I have only interface with russian lang and TEXTS of objects got for eng lang anymore (and in damp we can see that lang key = "E"). Where it must be corrected?
And for last in this message: I can create an object or edit it but can see that object was last edited by PI_JCO_RFC. Is it right? So, how I will can see who change the object at last time?
Help me please!

I try describe it again.
If I logon via SAPlogon with russian language in RSA1 I can see descriptions of objects for russian lang (and new objects which I will create will be with russian description if I enter it). I am trying to debbug a BADI (for shc) in SRM 7.0 with external debugger.
I placed a breakpoint in the BADI, and logged into the portal screen,it is independent portal.
when i start to create the shc i get the error:     Screen output without connection to user
if i delete the breakpoint it work well.
the user i work with, has a developer key and SAP_ALL.

Reload of an ArchiveFile - Error "Screen output without connection to user"

Hello,
I would like to put the whole content of a Cube into an other Cube by using DataMart and Archive Files.
So I created an Archive Object for the Source Cube and produced an Archive File. In the Archive Manager the status is green and every think seems to be alright.
Now I created an UpdateRule for the Target Cube. For the DataMartDataSource of the Source Cube I created an InfoPackage with the Target Cube as a Target. In the Data Selection of the Datapackage I press on the Archive Selection Button and then I choose archive only and then pressed the Archive File selection button and now I get the error message Screen output without connection to user. Message no. R3299
What is wrong. Could anybody help me.

I am new to SAP BW 3.5 but I have a BW 3.5 archiving asignment to do. I encountered the same problem i.e. 'Screen output without connection to user' while pressing the Archive File Selection. It appears to me that clicking the Archive File Selection button eventually calls (I am still using BW 3.5 by the way so i am not sure about BI 7)

Check your s_destination variable - this is your rfc destination that you define via SM59. From SM59, open this rfc destination type R/3 connection, see whether you can click on the "Remote Logon" button. It should be able to launch another screen. If it does not, get your BASIS to help out - maybe the userid used in this rfc destination should be changed to using "service" user type. I did this and it worked for me (previously it was configured as a "system" user type). Or perhaps you should stick to "system" user type and ask BASIS to grant the necessary profiles (I am not a BASIS so I am making a wild guess here).
The other way to test this out is to test the function module RSAP_ARCHIVE_ADMIN_REMOTE by entering the archived object in I_OLTPSOURCE parameter. Then test without RFC target sys, and then test with RFC target sys. If it works only without RFC target sys (and not with RFC target system field populated), then we can conclude that there is something wrong with the rfc destination and/or userid.

   I am getting the error "DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND(Screen output without connection to user) when I am ruuning a job on background. The job creates Workflow and sends email to users. It was working fine and suddenly getting this error from last week! Here are more details:

What happened?
The current ABAP/4 program "MP000600 " had to be terminated because
one of the statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP/4 program.
What can you do?
Note the actions and input that caused the error.
Inform your SAP system administrator.
You can print out this message by choosing "Print". Transaction ST22
allows you to display and manage termination messages, including keeping
them beyond their normal deletion date.
Error analysis
During background processing, the system attempted to send a
screen to a user.
Current screen: "MP000600 " 2010.

MSS error - Screen Output without connection

Hi,
Has anyone implemented/integrated MSS in EP 6.0?. I have successfully imported the package.
I was testing out few Iviews and I have ended up with the messages, "Screen Output without connection". I have referred the SAP notes - 760160 and accordingly maintained the personalisation data. But still I'm getting this message. How do I solve? What is that I'm missing?

I have followed BP document and installed all the pars that were not installed. I am still getting the error message. Is there something else to do as well?
And the com.sap.....rw_1wc1_001 component is not missing from the server deployment. This represents an iview. It is based on com...fin.reportwriterdisplayreport which is in the deployment. Anyway I've done the installs and still have the problem. Have you solved it?

SMQ2 Error "Screen output without connection to user"

Hi All,
In the SMQ2 in CRM the queues are stuck with the message "Screen output without connection to user", and we are recieving an ABAP dump as "DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND" in the CRM system.
Is anybody aware of such problem ?Please suggest.

Just try to go in debug mode making the user as Dialog,
In case you can go into the desination system you should get a pop-up some where and it needs an answer (like pressing of yes/no) which can't happen in non-debug mode.
This might be happening in save time Just look if there are any pop-ups?

Screen output without connection to user - Goals Standard APP

Hi Experts,
We have configured Standard PA iview - GOALS (web dynpro application HAP_A_PMP_GOALS) into Quality Portal. When creating new goal and clicking on save button we are getting following dump. But the same is working in development server which is not working in quality.
Only difference between these two servers is, SSO certificate is configured in Dev but no in Quality. But I guess this should be an issue since in both the servers I am using user mapping (not logonticket).
The following error text was processed in the system DRC : Screen output without connection to user.
The error occurred on the application server drcr3cs2_DRC_00 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
The ABAP call stack was:
