Error while importing datasource from Dev. to Qlty

Hi guys,
I have transported a data source to quality from development system. while importing the same in quality it states error below.
WSPK901533 imported to WFP & it ended with error(RC=8). Please check.
Source system ZSTGLDV110 does not exist
No rule exists
Source RSDS GECPC_GFO_COD_GPR ZSTGLDV110 does not exist
Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for RSDS L
Please let me know some once has any idea..

Error while creating datasource from table MBEWH

Hi all,
I am facing an error message while creating datasource from table MBEWH
"Invalid extract structure template MBEWH of DataSource "; This operation failed, because the template structure quantity fields or currency fields, for example, field LBKUM refer to a different table.
Can anyone help me that why system is not allowing me to generate generic datasource for table MBEWH to transfer my month wise inventory data.

      This was comming for classification data... when ever you want to extract some classification related data then we can't create generic datasources directly.. for that you need to go with CTBW ( tcode ) and   create one datasource...
   so, you need to check that   related table also.. for that MBEWH table..
    ALL THE CLASSIFICATION RELATED DATASOURCES WE CAN'T CREATE DIRECTLY... JUST LIKE AUSP table also.. liek this..

Error while creating datasource from view ZBSIS_VIEW

Hi all,
I could not create the datasource on the database table BSIS as it said "Invalid extract structure template BSIS of Datasource". I had suggestions that I should create a view and then create the Datasource on it. So I created the view and tried. But still I am facing an error message while creating datasource from custom Database View ZBSIS_VIEW.
"Invalid extract structure template ZBSIS_VIEW of DataSource"
Can anyone help on this regard.

Hi,
Yes. You need a create a view on tables BSIS, BKPF and T001 as the currency/quantity fields in BSIS have reference fields from the other 2 tables.
In BSIS, in the currency/quantity fields tab, you have some ref tables and fields. You would need to include these tables and join in the view. You would also need to include the ref fields like WAERS, HWAE2, HWAE3, etc in the view. Then you would be able to create the datasource.

Error,while importing METADATA from production to development

I have selected the option
Add new metadata and replace existing objetcs. But it is not importing. Also I tried other options like
1. deleting the existing mapping and tried.
2. Putting the mapping in recycle bin and try.
3. Take it from recycle bin.Even during taking it from recycle it is giving me the following error .

Date parse error while importing users from OIM to OIA (SRM 5.0.3)

Env Details:
OIA (SRM 5.0.3), Weblogic and Oracle 10g DB
We have integrated OIM to OIA with extended attributes mapping by modifying iam-context.xml file to load users. Its done successfully. But when we map "Date" related attribute, its giving "Date Parsing error" and its not loading the users.
We have tried loading users using flatFile mechanism, its also giving same result.
Please suggest me. Thanks in Advance !!!

Hi,
Its a problem with OOB's OIMIAMSolution.class file, which is called while importing users from OIM. It used DateParse () conversion method only for all attributes which OIA attributes' name is ends with "Date". It defined, the conversion of date from (yyyy-MM-dd). So its expecting the input value should be in defined format(yyyy-MM-dd), if not, it gives a parse error.
We found work around for this as follows,
We have used other related OIA attribute which name ends other than "Date" string.

I would take a look at the attribute data associated with each object in your shape file. Make sure that everything has a value, and that nothing is NULL.

Error while importing data from 8i to 9i

Hello !
I have installed 9i and now want to import data from previous database 8i which contains GB's of data.
I have exported through transporatble tablespaces but while importing to 9i i receive the following error of national character set .
Import done in WE8MSWIN1252 character set and WE8ISO8859P1 NCHAR character set
import server uses WE8ISO8859P1 character set (possible charset conversion)
export client uses US7ASCII character set (possible charset conversion)
export server uses US7ASCII NCHAR character set (possible ncharset conversion)
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 2248 encountered
ORA-02248: invalid option for ALTER SESSION
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully
Can any one fix this problem

If you're moving data from 10G to 9i, using EXP/IMP, I would try using the 9i EXP to create the dumpfile with data from the 10G database, and then using the 9i IMP to import that dumpfile into the 9i database.
Sounds like you have been using the 10G EXP and IMP in both cases.

I did the design repository install (for 9.2.0.2.8),
then runtime repository schema install and created
runtime access user .
Then I did an MDL export using the OWB client of 9.0.3 and now I am doing an import using the OWB 9.2.0.2.8 client into the 9.2.0.2.8 design repository.

Looks like an error in the ODBC driver, not OBIEE as such.
Have you tried googling it?
Can you post details about your OS and DB.

Error while importing data from excel to forms

Hi,
I am working on Oracle forms 10g, and I'm supposed to import data from excel sheet to forms.
While the user enters the data,sometimes after entering a particular word he/she hits the alt+enter button.
As a result the data appears in two lines in a single row
So,when I try to import the data it's not importing the data in a right manner.
S0,I want to replace this linefeed and carry with five spaces.
Eg:The user instead of entering Geekpedia enters Geek
pedia
in the excel sheet.
Now when I import this in the forms I want it to be imported as Geek Pedia.(5 spaces between Geek and pedia).

Maybe you can consider save excel as .csv files and then you can load them as flatfiles to external table in OWB.
