Error while installation of windows 8

Hi friends,
i have MSI FX400 pre-loaded with windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. now I want to upgrade to windows 8. While i boot with windows 8 USB boot able image it gives system crash error and gets restart.
After so much surfing i found a tool to check win8 compatibility, which says your system firmware does not support secure boot hence you cant install win 8 in your machine
Amazingly before release i installed win 8 developer edition in the same machine and it was working awesome...
Can any one help me for the same?
My current firmware in 1481.411 & BIOS is 1481-105.
I tried to find the update of the same but no success till now.

thanks to the steps of the webpage you have posted I´ve seen the code of the error in the log of my computer:
error 0x80073D0A: when trying to install the package XXXXXXXX, the system couldn´t register the extension windows.repositoryExtension owing to the next error: The package couldn´t be installed because the service "Firewall of Windows" is
not running. Enable the service "Firewall of Windows" and try again.
It matches with one of the codes of your link.
I think this question should be fixed. I (and I suppose much more people) already have a Firewall different than Microsofts´one and I want to have access to the Windows Store running only my "third-part firewall". Having two Firewalls running is a waste
of resources.

Error while installation of Addon

Friends,
I get this error while installation of addon.
An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)
My code works fine when executed directly from Visual Studio. But when i build the addon and try to install it, i get this error.
The server is 64 Bit. is it making any difference?

look at sdk forum, there is a lot of explanation for this.
From visual studio you are using diferent connection string than in addon and for addon you must create separately instal file (not only compiled as exe from vs)
In sdk samples is example for addon creating, look at that.

IP Resource Errors While Building a Windows Failover Cluster on Azure

I have setup a failover cluster in Microsoft Azure on four VMs. I have two nodes in one subnet/region, one node in another subnet/region and a final node in a third subnet/region. The cluster passed the validation wizard and was successfully built, but the
two nodes in other subnets will not go online, reporting "Failed to bring the resource 'IP Address x.x.x.x' online".
Azure Vnet Setup
Vnet 1 - South Central US - 10.16.16.0/16 - Nodes 1 & 2 - Online
Vnet 2 - West US - 10.116.16.0/16 - Node 3 - Offline
Vnet 3 - East US - 10.216.16.0/16 - Node 4 - Offline
All three IP Address resources are DHCP. I've attempted to make them static but they still failed while coming online. If I click "Information Details" on the error I get:
Error code: 0x80071397
The operation failed because either the specified cluster node is not the owner of the resource, or the node is not a possible owner of the resource.
It seems to be an issue with the way Azure DHCP works, but I'm stalled. There must be a way to get his working. What am I missing?

Starting in Windows Server 2008, a feature called an “OR dependency” was added to Failover Clustering which gave admins the ability to have nodes with a Network Name that
could use one IP Address OR another IP Address .In a multisite cluster, it is expected that 1 IP address is offline as it is an OR relationship.

Dtabase version error while installation

I am installing BAM in 2003 server with oracle Database XE which have 10.2.0.1 version.
But its giving me the below error while installation:
Database version should be 9.2.0.7 or higher , 10.1.0.5 or highers, 10.2.0.2 or higher .
Please suggest me on the same.

Thanks for the suggestion, now my issue has been resolved.
I did the installation of DataBase and BAM again after deleting its all previous entries from Oracle home.
It accept that version only and working fine.

Windows Installer 4.5 Error while installing in windows 2008 32 bit

In windows 2008 server (standard edition), i am trying to install the exchange server 2007 sp2 before that i need to install the windows installer 4.5 to install my exchange server 2007sp2, while installing the windows installer 4.5 system showing the error
message as " Not enough storage is available to process this commend".
If any one pls give some suggestions as soon as is appreciative.

Error while installation of jdev file of Windows 7 labtop

This problem seems to come up quite often, I guess you are installing 10g version of SOA Suite.
You did not mention, whether the installation failed or you are stuck at some step of installation.
This kind of error has been discussed in detail with some solution in this thread

Error while installation 9.2.4 on OEL -5 ..Urgent help required...

Hi Friends,
I am in the process of installation oracle 9i on OEL 5. I have sucessfully installed the software 9.2.4 but I am getting error while creating the database with dbca. I have installed all the libraries which were required for successful installation.
While starting the dbca I am getting the following error. I have tried all the options which are available on google/ open forms. I also applied the patch p3006854_9204_LINUX.zip but still I am getting the error. I know I may be missing something. Any expert can help me out please ?

As mentioned already, OEL 5 is pretty new as compared to the 9i version that you are trying to install over it. So the chances that you would get a working database are very negligible here. That said, why you are installing 9i ? Why not 10g/11g?

the first steps of boot camp came simple and easy
partitioned and load installation disk but when i click on "install now", an error came up stating "windows could not retrieve information about the disks on this computer"

Hi All,
This problem was not related to BO, it was due to a Windows Write access to the Installation Directory. Our Windows Administrator has addressed the issue. The Upgrade went smoothly after this.

Error while Installation of EP 7.0

Hi Experts ,
I am facing an error while i run the file sapinst.exe . This error comes after completing the following steps : SAP netweaver 7.0 support release 3.0 -> Central System->Custom->Continue with Old option .
After i select the last option i mentioned , and move ahead , i get the error saying : Unable to add privileges 'SeTcbPrivilege SeAssignPrimaryTokenPrivilege SeIncreaseQuotaPrivilege' to my name .
How do i get rid of this problem .

You will have to assign the user to the following settings using "Local Security Settings" Editor. You should find this under the Administrative Tools within Control Panel.
Open the Local Security Settings, browse to Local Policies -> User Rights Assignment and add your user to the following settings
1. Replace a process level token
2. Adjust memory quotas for a process
3. Act as part of the operating system.

them and I've read that the 0x80070002 may be related to updates, but nothing particular about the other.

It's strange, because I can install that package, and all the other custom ones without error if updates, security updates and hotfixes are not included. It must be one of those packages which is causing the install to fail. I tried to install updates manually
once I deployed the image but after the updates some of my custom applications didn't work well.
All of this just happening on the intel board, not the amd one.
