Hi all,
Getting following error while trying to install Oracle BI Publisher desktop
Template Builder Installer failed: Unexpected Error
-> I've downloaded "BI Publisher Desktop 10.1.3.4.2 for Windows" software from the following link
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-publisher/downloads/index.html
-> OS: Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit)
-> Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010
-> I googled for answers, but none of the suggestions i found were working.

I'm getting the following error while installing BI publisher desktop 64 bit.
"Please use BI Publisher Desktop installer 32 bit"
My Machine OS is : Windows 7 , 64 bit.
If I go with BI publisher desktop 32 bit, I'm not getting the "BI Publisher" tab in Microsoft Word. (MS word version : 2010) .
Kindly help to solve the installation issue.

After you install BI Publisher Desktop 32bit, you are not seeing the BIP ribbon on MS Word but can you see the BI Publisher Add-In
in Word Options > Add-Ins > Inactive Applications Add-Ins?

When I am trying to install Oracle BI Publisher Desktop, it is giving following error.... "Template Builder Installer did not exit properly!"

I assume you tried rebooting and re-attempted the install?
What version of Template Builder are you trying to Install?
What version of Office / Word do you have?
What JDK version and are OS/Word or JDK 32-bit or 64 bit?

Is anyone getting an error when installing BI Publisher Desktop? I'm getting an error when I'm installing BI Publisher Desktop and the error message is compile error in hidden module: Module_ini.

Yes, I have java run time on my machine and I'm in a Windows XP SP2 environment. Also note that I'm installing BI Publisher Desktop for 10.1.3.2 and I have all the prerequisites installed prior to the Publisher Desktop installation.

Error while installing Logic Pro Additional Content HELP!!!!!!!!

Hello, I've recently purchased Logic Pro 9.1.8 from the Appstore on my new MacBook Pro (Mid 2012).
The App installed fine and so did the 2 GB obligatory download on the first launch. But then I downloaded the Logic Pro and Mainstage additional content (4.6
Gb) and then when it started installing, the install window in Logic simply disappeared, I thought it had finished installing, so I checked the Additional content
download menu and it was still unchecked (and without the "Installed" sign on the right). Having copied the package on my external hard drive for backup, I
recopied it on my mac and tried to install, but the installer then displayed the following message: An error occurred while extracting files from the package.
The Log file also included: "The file couldn’t be opened because it isn’t in the correct format."
There isn't an Apple Store in my country.
I'm running on Lion 10.7.5, with 420Gb of free space, please HELP!!!!!!!!

Solved this by downloading the file again.

What on Earth are you doing?
@D:\oracle\apex\apexins.sql raman apex apex temp /i/ none
You're supposed to set the working directory to apex before you start SQL*Plus and then the command line would start with @apexins.
ORA-04021: timeout occurred while waiting to lock object SYS.DBMS_LOCK
After this all is futile. I'd say start over, maybe restart the db and try again starting in the correct directory/folder.

"setup.exe has encountered a problem and need to close"
Btw, I'm using the Window XP Service Pack 3. Will it affect the installation process?

That works! Thanks for the post, but still one doubt lingers on my mind... what's the logic in the solution that works? Why is it so, that the setup did not work when it was places in a deep-down in the folder-tree, whereas it worked when it was kept directly inside a single folder?

Please follow the link: Other downloads and download Adobe Application Manager. On its first launch it will update itself as the required Creative Cloud Desktop application.

i followed the link and all the instructions things seemed to go well: it still asked for two files i did not have or could not locate: first its asked for generalstub, then it asked for seedstup and then generalstup again. at this point the installation was at 67% and had passed the link succesful stage and was at the setup succeful stage. when i clicked ignore on generalstub, seedstup and then generalstup again it quicly moved to 100% and never took me to the stage for me to run oraInstroot.sh and allroot.sh
the configuration assistant stage never cameup and it skipped to the page Specify Repository Database Configuration
where it asked for repository database hostname port, service/sid and SYSMAN password and also manament service security password. whe i input all the infor mation it will give errors. i have tries deleting all oracle 3 or 4 times and all files that oracle has and repeated the process and am always stuck here.

Yes, I was getting error while installing GUI. these file are not registerd. But there no any specified procedure or certain order.These files should be there wdtfuncu.ocx,wdtlogu.ocx and wdtaocxu.ocx.

Error while installing web tools.

I am currently trying to install E-Commerce and Web CRM on a Windows Vista desktop PC, that we are going to use as a Demo PC for potential customers. It is just a demo, so everything is being installed locally on the Demo PC. I run into an error while installing the Web Tools
After the Default Install and before I precede to the Advanced install, I browse to - localhost/B1webtools - and rather than load up the webtools license key request page, I am getting the following error.
HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found
The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.
I didn't run into any errors during the default install, and it appeared to function just right.
Does anyone know what would cause this error???

Okay so I changed my Application pool and it solved that error. Now I'm able to get the page that has a link to the request license page, but when I click on that link it gives me this error:
