Error while installing NWDS CE 7.1 during update manager stage

Hi,
I have downloaded the EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) 7.1 setup and trying to install.
But when the update manager is trying to download all features i get the following errors.

Any clue what this is about.I have crossed the feature verification step also. My jave environment is also as per required.

CE EHP 7.1 NWDS knows as BPM doesn't come with installtion as with 7.0 .just double click on splash screen (inside the installation folder)
two thing are mandatory here
1. JDK 1.5 installed in system .
2. In configuration file of the folder (inside the installation folder)put the address of where JDK_1.5 is installed.

Dear Rajesh,
First of all, I am able to see that there are two JREs/JDKs present in your PC. JDK/JRE 1.5 Update 8 and JDK/JRE 1.5 Update 14. First Uninstall both of these. Then remove any traces of JDKs (including Internet Explorer Plugin) and that of the error/failed installation of NWDS from C:\Program Files\SAP\.
Then install JDK 1.5 update 14. Then NWDS IDEsetup.
I hope you had a proper download of the Zip file (after extraction of which you got the folder containing the IDEsetup.exe) from the NWDS update site URL. That is for example the zip file is 100 MB, I hope you had a full download of this 100 MB.
You can refer to this link if you have issues while updating the NWDS after install. Please remember to put your proxy details in NWDS preferences if you are under LAN proxy.

Error while installing NWDS updates

Hi,
I am working on PI 7.1, and trying to install NWDS for SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP08.
I have installed the IDE, but the Install Updates is not working, as it is not promptiing me to enter the S-User ID and password to download the updates from the SAP URL.
The error I get is:
"Error while parsing Update PolicyPremature end of file
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

It is related to the network connection from NWDS to internet.
Check the network connections in NWDS. If you are working behind the firewall and providing the ip address and actual port dosen't resolve the issue, do the following:
HTTP Proxy: proxy Port: 8080
click on chekbox below - Use this proxy for SSL.
This should resolve the issue.
If it still dosen't then check the internet connection from your client machine.

Error while installing nwds 7.2 feature files

Dear all,
I am using NetWeaver CE 7.2 and the NWDS 7.2. But while installing the plugins and feature files the installation hangs up (it shows the same progress percentage for several days and does not make any further progress). After cancelling the whole thing after two days one of the symptoms is that perspectives are missing. E.g., the Process Composer perspective is missing. Trying again to install the missing features leads to the same behaviour. The update Manager says: "Installing feature files: feature.xml" , but does not do anything.
Any help is welcome.

Solved. The ISO is corrupt.

Error while installing NWDS 7.0.10

Hi,
I tried to install NWDS 7.0.10 (downloaded from SAP Marketplace) with JDK1.4.2_09. After the installation finished, it gave an error message which reads "The following program files could not be registered -- c:\sysroot\system32\librfc32.dll".
When I checked the log for the intstallation it showed with following errors,
-->20:16:54 SapFeiKr 2E Out of process self registration failed: The specified procedure could not be found. Error code 0x7f (127)
-->20:16:54 SapFeiKr 2E The module C:\SYSROOT\system32\librfc32.dll could not be loaded due to unresolved module dependencies:
-->20:16:54 SapFeiKr 2E Module msvcr80.dll is unresolved
-->20:16:54 SapFeiKr 2E COM server registration failed. Reboot required: The specified procedure could not be found. Error code 0x7f (127)
But even after that, I'm able to open NWDS (didn't used it till now). Is there any issue with this version? or Which one(Version) do you suggest for?
Did anyone faced this issue before? Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?

Thanks for your reply, I tried what you said and it worked.
Yes, the issue was with SAPGUI 7.10, which was installed and was using the same dll file librfc32.dll.
So I took the backup (remove) for librfc32.dll from c:\SYSROOT\System32 folder and installed NWDS 7.0.10 and it got installed without any issues/errors.
My question is do I need to replace the older librfc32.dll( the one which I've taken the backup) back to the same folder as both applications are working fine with the current setup.

When i try to manually (no internet connection on the server) install SharePoint 2013 Prerequisites on Windows Server 2012 I get the below error
I have installed .Net Framework 3.5, 4.0 and Windows Identity Foundation using Add server roles or features from the server manager.
From Software & Hardware requirements for SharePoint 2013 give
Prerequisites for SharePoint 2013 I can see that the identity extensions are available only of Windows Server 2008 R2 and not for windows server 2012. Can you please provide the link for windows server 2012?
I have installed all the prerequisites required except Microsoft Identity Extensions.

I fixed it by installing Microsoft Identity extensions from command line, please find command line below.
C:\Windows\System32>msiexec.exe /i "C:\SharePoint2013ServerFiles\prerequisiteinstallerfiles\MicrosoftIdentityExtensions-64.msi" /quiet /norestart
Note: In the above command C:\SharePoint2013ServerFiles\prerequisiteinsTallerfiles is the path where I had downloaded all the prerequisites for SP2013
This will install Microsoft Identity Extensions and creates registry entries, which will help the SharePoint 2013 Prerequisite installer to complete the setup

Error while installing the Android 4.4 KitKat update - How do I fix it?

Hello, I'm having a problem in which my phone will not install the android 4.4 update on my droid mini successfully. My phone has downloaded it over Wi-Fi and 4G LTE but the installation itself never actually works.
After the first reboot during my installation, on my phone I see a picture of an android with a red exclamation sign that says Error. My phone reboots to the system and i see a notification box called "Software Update - Update Failed" and it's not working at all.
I'm downloading it for the third time now so this is really frustrating to me. Here is a picture of my System update information:

pacnet2014- It sounds like completing this update has been a hassle and that's not good. I have reviewed some information about your device and I see that others have had this issue. Have you tried completely master resetting the device? Try that and then try the software update again.

We tried twice clean installation, after removing j2ee dir, SCS and
resp profiles and droping PSAPQSSDB tablespace and SAPQSSDB user.

We are getting the same error in both tries.

you saved my day! I've been banging my head against the wall with this same problem during a J2EE add-in installation for SRM 4.0 on Windows, in preparation of an LAC 2.0 installation. I had tried deleting the schema first, but that didn't work. After I removed the sys\global\security folder as well, it worked perfectly.

Also with error you posted I guess it is a known issue .You need to install below package and then continue with fresh installation

Error while installing vCenter Server 6.0

Got error while installing vCenter Server 6.0 on a Windows 2012 R2. During install pop-up said "An error occured while starting service 'invsvc'". What is the matter? Should I simply repeat the setup process? Few log files from big zip-file are attached. Please say what else files from the log pack you need. Thanks.

Error while installing 11gR1 RDBMS software on 11gR2 GI

I am getting the following error while installing 11gR1 (11.1.0.6) RDBMS software on 11gR2 GI.
0. Oracle Enterprise linux 5.4 x_86_64 bit
1. cluvfy verfication is successful
2. 11gR2 GI looks fine - logged in to asm in all nodes, check the asm disksgroups
3. ssh connectivity is fine - able to do ssh from all 6 nodes to all nodes

During install I got the below error
""Error in execution of additional utility tool" and I initially thought it might be because of network or due to user equivalence not set correct. So cancelled installation , rechecked it and verified and both were fine. user equivalence works fine. but still i'm getting the same error . However the below oracle documentation links shows that its a bug (reference Bug 6271506, though I couldnt get any relevant info on this bug number)

As per the above doc I just clicked on 'Continue' and installation was successful with no errors. I hope itdoesnt cause any issues later.

Error while installing on Solaris 10

Hi
i am getting following error while installing weblogic server10.3.1 on Solaris 10.
+Installation fails with Fatal error encoutered during self-extraction. Click Yes to exit, No to continue as a Net installation.[No space left on device] message.+
I tried redirecting it to new local temp folder but it didn't helped.
Please help.

Error While Installing Oracle 9.2.0.1.0 on Win 2003 Server

Hi,
I am getting following error while installing Oracle 9.2.0.1.0 on Windos Server 2003-
ORA-12546: TNS: Permission Denied.
Above error pops-up during database configuration phase. Oracle docs says- "Acquire necessary privileges and try again." But I am installing as administrator.

I can't tell you why this error is occurring but you are installing a desupported version of the Oracle database that may well not be supported on your version of the o/s.
Check the support matrix and metalink and see if you can install a supported product such as 10.2.
