Error while installing solution manager 7.1

Hi All,
I am installing SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SR1 i am facing below issue ,any one please suggest me how to proceed further.I am new to sybase .

NOTE:
The same issue has been solved in SCN Thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3360385. As suggested in that note i am trying to look into the sap note
Note 1716201 - SYB:Update control.xml files for installation: Sybase ASE
in service market place but it is displaying as Document not released.
Kindly can any one help me in provind the above mentioned note or help me how to resolve this issue.

I HIGHLY recommend not using a 32bit operating system for Solution Manager, you will run into lots of problems and issues concerning memory usage and limitations of the 32bit platform.> 08.06.11 10:21:42 com.sap.inst.jload.Jload logStackTrace

It seems that the maximum memory on 32bit is reached already. Decrase the CACHESIZE of the database, restart the database and press "retry" in sapinst.
This will not be the only problem you will get, use a 64bit server and at least 8 GB memory for Solution Manager.

I'm install Solution Manager 4.0 on Windows 2003 R2 with Oracle10g
and JSDK 1_4_2_16, while facing step 42/45 (Configure System Landscape Directory). Its shown error below.

Hi,
The /usr/sap file system looks fine.
Could you also check the file space on the /tmp file system? This is usually less and SAPInst can fill this up very quickly.
Ideal to create a seperate SAPInst directory rather than use the default /tmp/sapinst_instdir.

I have tried with following condition.
I've copied image from DVD to
C:\EXP1
C:\EXP2
C:\EXP3
C:\EXP4
(C: is local drive)
Then compared all copied files in the local drive and DVD image. Verified all files are identical. also made all files and folder under those folder have R/W permission.
However I still get same error. ( I did this from fresh OS and new installation as well)
I used filemon.exe during installation to monitor file access. During other step of the installation, files under EXP1,2,3,4 were accessed successfully.

Hi Suman,
Usually the p4port should be 5<xx>04 where xx is the instance number. But the error says p4port is 50000.
Login to Visual Admin and check the p4provider service under dispatcher node. If the port is 50000 then change it to 50004.
Then try again.

Error when Installing Solution Manager for XI

I am currently installing the SAP Solution Manager in a new server before I am going to install SAP XI. This is because I need the Solution Manager to generate a Key for the XI installation. I am choosing a typical installation. However, I keep hitting into Installation errors as below:

There are a total of 43 steps at the installation, and this error occurs at Step 2.
There are a few questions which I need some help:
1) Since the server is fresh, and it is a new installation, when defining parameters during installation, do I choose "Register in existing central SLD" or "Configure a new SLD"?
1a) If I need to choose "Register in existing central SLD", what values should I input for SLD HTTP Host, SLD HTTP Port, SLD Gateway Host and SLD Gateway Instant Number?
1b) If I need to choose "Configure a new SLD", what value should I input for the Object Server Name?
2) Any ideas what the errors above is about and how to solve them?

Packages error while installing Oracle Management Agent.

We have configured the oracle grid on our production server.
Now we also want to include all other database on situated on different server.
So we are installing oracle management agent software.
while installiing this software we encounterd following error:

You need to install libXp package.
The rpm which contains this package is libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm. It is located in the /server direrctory of the OS install DVD. You copy this rpm from the DVD and install it using
# rpm -ivh libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm
or if you have setup yum or up2date repository:
yum install libXp.i386

Getting Error while Installing Workflow Manager 1.0 on Sharepoint 2013 On-Prem server

I am trying to install Workflow Manager 1.0 on our SharePoint Server 2013 which is On-Prem installation. The SharePoint Server 2013 is functioning correctly. During the installation of Workflow Manager 1.0 on the same SharePoint 2013 server, I receive the
following message: "Port number 9355 specified for HTTPS Port is blocked" I have checked our firewall Inbound rules and this port is not blocked.
Any reason why this could be happening or did I miss anything?

I am happy to inform you that I was able to resolve this error. I configured this on different ports other than 9355. We need to modify 2 files called "ClusterManifest.1.0.xml" and "ClusterManifest.current.xml" in c:\Program
Files\Windows Fabric\Bin. They were pointing to older FQDN under following node:

<Node NodeName="yourserverfqdn" IPAddressOrFQDN="yourserverfqdn" IsSeedNode="true" NodeTypeRef="DefaultNodeType" />
</NodeList>
These files won't let you edit directly in notepad so you will need to make a copy of these files (just in case). Open up the notepad as "Run As Administrator". Drag these files to the notepad. After you are done editing, save these as original
names but make sure that the extension is .xml
You will also need to do IISReset
That did the trick for me.

I have installed SMP 3.0 and I am installing Service Manager 4.1 on this server.
I am folliwng the document - CRMSM41_Installation for installation of SM 4.1
After installation , I configured the JavaBE.ini file and Agentry.ini. . This is the folder structure -
When I tried to check the connection using ConnectTest.bat file I am getting the below error

You should carefully look at    ..\sapinst_instdir\NW701\AS-ABAP\DB6\CENTRAL\db2setup.log file, it is quite probably you find out the real error message cause.
I had same message from SapInst,when seeking on that file I retrieved the following clue:
