Error while opening BEx reports

Hello Gurus,
I got a problem with BEx reports. When I tried to open the BI reports in BEx Analyzer, its giving the following error.
"Characteristic 0TCKAKYFNM does not exist. Check authorizations"
I got this problem only with the Production server. All the rpeorts worked fine in DEV and QA servers.
When checked, there is no infoobject named "0TCKAKYFNM" exists in the system.
Also we have checked with Basis people for any authorization object with the name 0TCKAKYFNM but of no use.
We are using BI7.0
Any suggestions will be of great use.

Hi Kumar,
Check the 0TCAKYFNM objcet properties - i.e Display the Char and goto Tab - Business Explorer.
If the Authorization relevant filed is checked then by default your object can be used to provide data level authorizations.
If this object is included in your infoprovider then you need to provide the values or '*' in the analysis authorization object.
If you r not using any authhorizations, then plz uncheck the 'authorization relevant' checkbox in the object properties.

I've seen umarshalling error when there is a difference between the client and server version. Is there a patch applied? I would recommend to uninstall the existing one and install if from Workspace. (this will ensure that you've the correct client version)

We are facing error while executing Bex report.

u201CQuery 0: Runtime error program state check for conversation 05284411 / CP with parallel processing via RFC
Message no. DBMAN428u201D
The query is based upon Multiprovider (based upon 2 basic cubes).
Both cubes are partitioned by info object 0CALMONTH, (valid range - 01.2005 - 012.2010).
Those cubes are not containing any non-cumulative key figures and Service package level for SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 is u2018SAPKW70012u2019.
I have checked those cubes in RSRV and carry out following steps:
"All Elementary Tests -> Transaction Data" and execute the repair "Consistency of the Time Dimension for an Info Cube"
I have found system inconsistency like u201CRecord with the DIMID 2 contains non-fitting time characteristics u201C
Detail ERROR:
Record with the DIMID 2 contains non-fitting time characteristics
Message no. RSCV053Diagnosis
The data record of the time dimension table with the described DIMID contains values for time characteristics that do not fit together.
I have found the u2018 Note 1130450 - Query displays error DBMAN 284; RSRV: Time dimension checku2019 for this but still not sure this will work or not .
I tested this in dev server , didn't feel useful.
Could you please let us know what to correct this error.

I get following error while opening XL Reporter
Error! Server communication failed!
Cause: Error! Unable to get document!
Type: 36
Cause:XML document must have to top level element.
Tried it on several clients, Win XP, Win 7 but can not open XL Reporter
SAP Install is PL47 2007A
Any suggestions??

After installing XL Reporter, you may encounter these error messages when attempting to run a report from the SBO menu.
The following error messages occur because XL Reporter does not support .Net 2.0. More than likely you have installed .Net 2.0 for some other software and it is interfering with the execution of the XL Reporter program. SAP indicates that if you copy a certain file to the Excel Folder under your program files, it will correct the problem. Basically the file instructs the system to use .Net 1.1 instead of 2.0.
The SAP Service Note 918188 (SAP "S" number required) states that a file needs to be added to the root of the Excel folder. This folder is normally found under: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\
in a folder called something like EXCEL 10 or Excel 11. I am running two versions of Excel so I had to put the following file under the the following directory: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Excel2003\OFFICE11
If you have access to the service site, then access the note mentioned above, and download the file. Otherwise, you will need to create your own.
Modify the file called "excel.exe.config" lines with the following contents:

Error while opening the report or sheet in the desktop

While opening the reports it gives error as " Failed to Connect Database".
In Some reports it gives error as "Unable to Load EUL item".
Then we check the Menu bar, Tool ----> Options --->EUL.
We found, it is giving Default EUL as blank.
Now it is not allowed to open any sheet as well as not allowed to create new report.
Can any one tell how to resolve this problem?

I am having the same issue. I am not able to import Crystal Report.
the error is "No matching records found 'Queries' (OUQR) (ODBC -2028) [Message 131-183]"
I have previewed the report using Preview external crystal report option and is running perfect.
please guide ASAP.

Giving Error while opening BEx Query Designer.

Hi all,
               A user is trying to open BEx Query Designer 7.0 and she is getting this error
" SAP BEx Query Designer standalone has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were middle of something, the information you are working on might be lost. "
She is not having issues while opening BEx Analyzer. She is having Office 2010. This doesn't seem to be compatibility issue with the Office. This BEx was not installed on her machine 2 weeks back and it was working fine until now.
As a first re-solution i told her to get it re-installed but still she is getting the same issue.

There is no relation between Office VS Query Designer. Only with BEx Analyzer and MS Excel.
My suggestion is.
If you don't have version 7.20 of SAPGUI and Business Explorer, please download the installer.
After that, download the latest patch available and install:

Error while opening excel report

Hi,
While opening the excel report i am getting the below error.
REP-51026: No output for job 8923
Note: We have deployed the report in 10g Oracle Reports server present in a UNIX m/c.
Please let me know what i have to do.

RFC connection Error While run BEx Report

Hi All
I got BI 7.0 and create new user with roles only access: TR: RRMX to see only BEx Reporting... I create basically new customize role and put only one transcation code RRMX and assigned to user...
When goto BEx designer I got that error
rfc error received user has no rfc authorization for function group syst.
I am not sure what kind of authrouzation user need to only view BEx Reporting...
But when I put SAP_ALL in that profile same user, thats works fine, but I don't want to give SAP_ALL to user...
2nd question same look like BEx Analyzer the side bar when I click open nothing happend and it writedown like German language..

I am Angeline again, I resolved that problem and want to shair with you guys....
1.     Tr: PFCG and click on Maintain roles
2.     Role Name: Z_RUN_QUERIES
3.     Click on Authorization Tab Saved Entry
4.     In Edit mode Select the template: S_RS_RREPU and adopt reference (Business Content)
5.     Expand u2018Business Explorer u2013 Componentsu2019
6.     Selected: u201CType of a reporting component Calculated key figure, query restricted
7.     key figure u2013 template structure and click on Edit
8.     Un-Check REP Query
9.     Generate the Profile
10.     Create Transport number
11.     click on user TAB and define user name in it
12.     click User compare and complete compare and saved the entry
13.     TR: SU01 in User click on Roles and define Z_RUN_QUERIES and profile

Error while opening bex query

hi all,
While i try to execute a query i am getting the below error msg. How to rectify it. Can i suppress the message and execute the query. I want to look at the keyfigure/characters used in the query how to look at it.
Warning following error for partial infocube = zsbmt in rsdrc_cube_data_get_rfc
error ods zsbmt not configured for bex reporting
abort system error : rsrdc/form data_get_ods error in rsdro_read_ods_dat zsbm
abort system error in program saplrsdrc and form rsdrc/form data_get_ods.

Hi,
it looks like the ods, you are running the query on is not enabled for bex reporting. So goto the ods maintenance and switch on bex reporting in the settings of the ods.

Error while opening WebAnalysis reports

Hi ,
We are experiencing a strange problem with Web Analysis reports.
When a user tries to open a web analysis report, it fails with the below error message.
Error occured while opening document. Document ID = {0}.
But if the same user tries it from a different machine, he is able to open the report without any issues. We tried restarting the system, clearing cache on the machine, but no luck.
Also the Java icon is not showing up in the tray(bottom of the screen) when I launch the webanalysis window.
Could you anybody please help me solve this issue.
The version of web analysis is 9.3.1

I finally got this fixed. We recently upgraded our BI+ to 9.3.1.3 and it is having two versions of JRE's inbuilt in it. One is 1.4.2_13 and the other is 1.5.0.
I am recieving this error while I am using the 1.4.2_13 version of JRE. So I just tried installing the 1.5.0 version and then tried to open the report. The result is Successful.

Warning : Opening a report saved with a newer version of Reports Builder.
Functionality may be lost. Continue??

plesae update the thread as soon as possible.
After opening a report in Oracle Apps its open is different language. what could be the workaround for this..
Do i need to change any langauge setting?

HTTP 500 error while opening pdf report in Workspace

Hi all,
i have a HFM - FDM - Financial Reporting 11.1.1.3 installation at a custommer that is working fine.
Except for the fact that when i open a report (doesn't matter if it's from the studio or workspace) in pdf it gives an HTTP 500 internal server error.
I can open the report in HTML withous any problems.
I really don't have a clue where to search. Has anyone a suggestion?

The above registry fix worked for me, however, I wanted to clarify the registry key to edit, since I think the poster above me forgot one of the folders:
Regedit - > HKLM -> SOFTWARE -> Hyperion solutions -> HReports -> JVM ->JVM option 2 -> default is -xmx256m
