Error while opening Crytal report

Hi All ,
I am receiving the below error while opening reports .I am not able to open the crystal report.Tried uninstalling and reinstalling.But it dint worked.Can any one help me with this issue.Please find the error file attached.I am using SAP B1 9.0 PL06 and crystal report 2008

I've seen umarshalling error when there is a difference between the client and server version. Is there a patch applied? I would recommend to uninstall the existing one and install if from Workspace. (this will ensure that you've the correct client version)

Error while opening XL reporter

Hi Experts,
I get following error while opening XL Reporter
Error! Server communication failed!
Cause: Error! Unable to get document!
Type: 36
Cause:XML document must have to top level element.
Tried it on several clients, Win XP, Win 7 but can not open XL Reporter
SAP Install is PL47 2007A
Any suggestions??

After installing XL Reporter, you may encounter these error messages when attempting to run a report from the SBO menu.
The following error messages occur because XL Reporter does not support .Net 2.0. More than likely you have installed .Net 2.0 for some other software and it is interfering with the execution of the XL Reporter program. SAP indicates that if you copy a certain file to the Excel Folder under your program files, it will correct the problem. Basically the file instructs the system to use .Net 1.1 instead of 2.0.
The SAP Service Note 918188 (SAP "S" number required) states that a file needs to be added to the root of the Excel folder. This folder is normally found under: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\
in a folder called something like EXCEL 10 or Excel 11. I am running two versions of Excel so I had to put the following file under the the following directory: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Excel2003\OFFICE11
If you have access to the service site, then access the note mentioned above, and download the file. Otherwise, you will need to create your own.
Modify the file called "excel.exe.config" lines with the following contents:

Error while opening the report or sheet in the desktop

While opening the reports it gives error as " Failed to Connect Database".
In Some reports it gives error as "Unable to Load EUL item".
Then we check the Menu bar, Tool ----> Options --->EUL.
We found, it is giving Default EUL as blank.
Now it is not allowed to open any sheet as well as not allowed to create new report.
Can any one tell how to resolve this problem?

the error is "No matching records found 'Queries' (OUQR) (ODBC -2028) [Message 131-183]"
I have previewed the report using Preview external crystal report option and is running perfect.
please guide ASAP.

Error while opening excel report

Hi,
While opening the excel report i am getting the below error.
REP-51026: No output for job 8923
Note: We have deployed the report in 10g Oracle Reports server present in a UNIX m/c.

Error while opening WebAnalysis reports

Hi ,
We are experiencing a strange problem with Web Analysis reports.
When a user tries to open a web analysis report, it fails with the below error message.
Error occured while opening document. Document ID = {0}.
But if the same user tries it from a different machine, he is able to open the report without any issues. We tried restarting the system, clearing cache on the machine, but no luck.
Also the Java icon is not showing up in the tray(bottom of the screen) when I launch the webanalysis window.
Could you anybody please help me solve this issue.

I finally got this fixed. We recently upgraded our BI+ to 9.3.1.3 and it is having two versions of JRE's inbuilt in it. One is 1.4.2_13 and the other is 1.5.0.
I am recieving this error while I am using the 1.4.2_13 version of JRE. So I just tried installing the 1.5.0 version and then tried to open the report. The result is Successful.

Hello experts,
My oracle apps version is R12.1.3
I am getting an error message when opening a report in report builder.
Warning : Opening a report saved with a newer version of Reports Builder.
Functionality may be lost. Continue??
What should i do now?? Please suggest.

plesae update the thread as soon as possible.
After opening a report in Oracle Apps its open is different language. what could be the workaround for this..
Do i need to change any langauge setting?

HTTP 500 error while opening pdf report in Workspace

Hi all,
i have a HFM - FDM - Financial Reporting 11.1.1.3 installation at a custommer that is working fine.
Except for the fact that when i open a report (doesn't matter if it's from the studio or workspace) in pdf it gives an HTTP 500 internal server error.
I can open the report in HTML withous any problems.
I really don't have a clue where to search. Has anyone a suggestion?

The above registry fix worked for me, however, I wanted to clarify the registry key to edit, since I think the poster above me forgot one of the folders:
Regedit - > HKLM -> SOFTWARE -> Hyperion solutions -> HReports -> JVM ->JVM option 2 -> default is -xmx256m

Discoverer Desktop 10.1.2 error while opening the report.

Hi ,
Do you know why I would be able to open a report from a Discoverer Plus responsibility in Oracle Financials but not from Discoverer Desktop?
The report was owned by User1 and shared with both Admin1 and AdminUser1. I have tried accessing the report with both user names, and in both cases, I get the error shown below when I am logged into Desktop but I do not get the error when I log in through the application.
Error message:
Join configuration cannot be resolved. Reason: more than 1 of the detail folder uses non-aggregated items

After log in in the BI publisher template builder, tried to Open the report from the report Template . Then the message is displayed as Error occurred: ‘Please check the settings and try again’.

I have previewed the report using Preview external crystal report option and is running perfect.

Error while opening Crystal report 2008

Hi All,
I get the following error when I try to open crystal report 2008 trial version:
"Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point ?CanStackDump@SLogger@CXLib400@@SA_NXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library cxlibw-4-0.dll."
To over come this I tried to install crystal report 2008 SP1 but it didn't help,
even I uninstalled all Crystal report setup and tried to install Crystal report 2008 server even that didn't helped.
Kindly suggest some solution.

Workspace error while opening FR report?

Hi,
I created a new group and assigned some of users to that group.Im able to login the Workspace.But when I tried to open any Fr report its givving"Local//// Error(1051293):Login fails due to invalid login credentials" .
When i click Ok on this warning window ,then Database connection Properties window is appearing with credentials. If I retype the same password im able to run the report.,and then im able to open other reports also.Only for the first time its giving that error.
Could you plz guide me to resolve this issue.

Issue seems to be with the database connection. May be some changes in password happened in database connection. Edit the database connection and check whether the credentials are given properly or not. If not try to reset it. If it looks ok, relogin and check whether the report is prompting for credentials or not.
If it is still prompting after resetting the credentials also try to create a new database connection, assign to form and check whether you are getting prompting or not.

hi
i created a report yesterday and it was workin fine, and i saved it in .jsp format
But when today i am trying to open the report it throws a message
"REP-002 Unable to retrieve a string from reports builder message file".
with "OK" and "Help" buttion., if i press ok btn the report opens but
the formating, formula columns which i added yesterday is not there...
pls help ?

Hi,
You can't access workspace directly through that port if you want to use other functionality, you should workspace through http://<workspace machine>:19000/workspace/
