Hii,
When we are running TDS Certificate using Tx J1INCERT in back ground process.
we are getting following error message.

do you also get the error if you run J1INCERT online or only when in background?
What is the number of the error message?

Error while running a job in background

Hi,
I got the following error message while running the job in background.
"Step 001 started .
Control Framework: Fatal error - GUI cannot be reached.
ABAP/4 processor: RAISE_EXCEPTION
Job cancelled"
What is the reason for this error and how to correct it?

ALV Grid control is based on the custom controls on the screen. When the program is scheduled in background, it tries to create GUI related front-end objects and hence the error u201CFatal Error u2013 GUI cannot be reachedu201D. This type of problem is common with all the programs that use the ALV grid control to display the output.
Solution:
Whenever we execute this type of programs in background, we should be passing a blank docking container instead of the custom container as parent to our grid control.
The docking container doesnu2019t need any of the custom controls on the screen; instead it attaches an area to any or all of the four edges of the screen (top, left, right or bottom). The behavior of the areas in the container is determined by the sequence in which they are initialized. Docking Containers are attached to the screen from the inside out. This means that when you create a second container, it is attached to the edge of the screen, and the container that was already there is pushed outwards.
Let us modify the standard program (by taking a copy of it) to enable it to execute it in background.
Following modifications have to be made:
·        Define a docking container in the program
data: or_doc type ref to cl_gui_docking_container .
·        At the time of creating a custom container, check if the program is being executed in background or foreground. If the program is scheduled in background, then create a docking container instead of custom container.
if cl_gui_alv_grid=>offline( ) is initial.
    create object or_custom_container
           exporting container_name = c_container.
create object or_grid
         exporting i_parent = or_custom_container.
else .
create object or_grid
         exporting i_parent = or_doc .
endif .
Now test executing the program in background. The report would be generated.

I downloaded the Patch 4573517 from Metalink for JDEV with OA extension release 11i.I followed all the instruction of the setup init and installed the Jdev,also mytutorial pages got compiled successfully,but when i trie dto run the page

I am not understanding why it is going in exception.One reason which i doubthere is the line
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: drive\OA_2008\jdevbin\jdev\appslibrt\ojdbc14/jar;C:\D
here in this line the last word is ojdbc14/jar,i think it should have been ojdbc14.jar.
Can any body please help me out on how to correct this problem.Thanks

Tsv_tnew_blocks_no_roll_memory error while running a program in background

            I have a report which if i run in background is giving me dump.I am getting tsv_tnew_blocks_no_roll_memory error.I checked in debugging and am pasting the code
where it is failing
    Fetching delivery history
        SELECT ebeln ebelp zekkn vgabe
               gjahr belnr buzei bwart
               budat menge xblnr lfbnr
          FROM ekbe
          INTO TABLE t_ekbe
           FOR ALL ENTRIES IN t_eket
         WHERE ebeln = t_eket-ebeln
           AND ebelp = t_eket-ebelp
           AND bwart IN r_bwart.
In the internal table t_eket there are 2400000 records.
Also there are many other hufe internal tables in the run time in program.
I think this error is bacause of memory allocation or lack of it.
So any solutions are most welcome.
I have tried using free itab.
Am verifying it now.
Please suggest.

Is there a way to filter more data in T_EKET.
2400000 in For all entries is too much for a select query.

In 'J1INCERT' transaction iam getting an error message "Please maintain entries in Layout customizing".
I have maintained entries for 'J_1IEWT_CERT' From. Is there somethig else i need to do?

Error while running background deployment, program /SAPAPO/RMSDPDEP

Hi all,
For the second time in 3 months, I encounter this strange error while running a daily background deployment job, using program /SAPAPO/RMSDPDEP.
The job starts correctly and does a part of its job, but then interrupt with this message in the job log :
--> "no valid simulation guid" (class SAPAPO/OM_TS, n° 101)
--> "Unknown error" (class SAPAPO/OM, n° 100)
--> "Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE" (class 00, n° 564)
I just can't find any clue about what causes the problem...
Did anyone encounter that kind of difficulties before ? Any help would be usefull...

Hi Siva,
In this range of time, I effectively run 13 parallel deployment jobs, as follow :
n° 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 : same location (factory 1) and each treats a products selection
n° 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 : same location (factory 2) and each treats a products selection
n° 11 : all products of factory 3
n° 12 : all products of factory 4
n° 13 : all products of factory 5
A product can only be produced in a single location, so there might not have access concurencies during parallel jobs. Do you think it could be some kind of a technical problem (not enough process available ?). Note that the problem can't come from CPU, we use CPU auto-allocation, and it works well.
What do you think ?

"Lock NOT set for: Deleting the data completely from a data target"

This is due to a lock on the objects which is being used by ur load.
Even if master data used by this would be in a lock by an attribute change run. wait till that attribute change run finishes and then repeat.
If this target itself is locked by someother process like rollup , compression , this error would appear. In this case also repeat the step after those locking process finish.
some general locks during loading:
Sometimes parallel processing in DTP might lead to this, its better set the DTP and infopackage in serial processing. In this case change the settings and then repeat the process.
There is a specific case in which the Serial DTP gets locked by itself, in this case repeat it untill it succeeds.
You can identify the above scenario as below. This is applicable only if the DTPs processing mode is serial.
if u see in SM 37 this load would have three DTP processes running.
it should have only two.
In this case cancel the process and repeat it untill u get it right.

RFC ERROR while running BI Process Chain

I'm recieving the following error while running certain Process Chains in BI.
RFC error: FAILED
RFC Message: FAILED
The system log in BI shows the following.
Communication error, CPIC return code 017, SAP return code 672
672 Logon to Netweaver failed
Other process chains work correctly via CPS.
Any Ideas?

i also used to get error for a program executed through process chain but when it is executed in se38 it used to work... that is because my program try to access a application server folder and reads the file from there... the authorisation to this is not proper through process chain ..... once authorisation to the folder was given properly .. i am able to run...
Such things can happen in your case also... Try to analyse the dump in st22.... what happened ...

Not all data can be exported to Excel easily. Especially if the query result is huge or there are special characters in the query results. You may try the most updated version.

Is the issue with this specific concurrent program?
Can you find any errors in the CM/OPP log files?

It seems to be a very common error. Try checking your map assignments when the source (from) is empty (null). These mappings with null values may produce the error you are facing...
