Error while scheduling Background Job for User/Role Full Synchronization

Hi all,
We have installed RAR 5.3 Component and uploaded the authorization data & established the connectors to the backend system.
We have performed all the post installation activities and everything is complete.
When we have scheduled User -Full Synchronization with the Back End system as  a part of Post Installation Activity we are receiving the below error message
"Error while executing the Job:Cannot assign an empty string to host variable 2."
Also the VIEW LOG/ Terminate Job buttons are disabled  in this screen.
Can somebody please help us in resolving the above issue
Thanks and Best Regards,
Srihari.K

Hi,
We are copy pasting the error log (Part as it is huge) below here. We could able to do Full Synch for Roles and also for Profiles. Only for User Synch we are getting this error and none of the users are sychronized to RAR

  • Error while running Background Sync for User, Roles

    Hi All,
    I get the below errors when i am scheduling background jobs for User and Role Sync

    Thanks

    Hi All,
    Thank you for your inputs, but i figured out the issue with the error,
    Our basis folks actually made the mistake creating JCO's
    They created VIRSAXSR3_02_METADATA & VIRSAXSR3_01_MODEL instead of VIRSAXSR3_01_METADATA & VIRSAXSR3_01_MODEL
    this has been rectified and my background jobs run fine now.
    Thanks

  • Error in Schedule Background Job for Deadline Monitoring of swu3

    While Auto Customization swu3 i am getting error message 'Output device "" not known' in 'Schedule Background Job for Deadline Monitoring'
    Please advice what could be cause of it

    the earlier problem of background job was solved by changing the  output device assigned to user wf-batch .
    regarding the transport request :
    when i was trying to execute the step : "Schedule bakgrd for missed deadlines " MANUEL it was giving me an option of SAVE AND SCHEDULE . which was creating the transport request . but when i executed it automatically it worked fine without asking a request to me ... i don't know why )-: ... probablly we can specify a different interval then the standard of three minutes and which will be transported (it's just a guess) . i have  executed it  automatically ...

    Hello,
    You could also just stop the job in tx SM37.
    But why would you want to do this? As a test?

  • Automatic workflow customizing :Schedule background job for condition evalu

    Hai,
    I have one problem in automatic customizing SWU3(Maintain runtime environment)-Schedule background job for condition evaluation.
    How to turn  green tick from red cross? All other steps are OK in SWU3 except this problem.
    Please give me some tips.
    -Jaheer
    _______Thanks in terms of BIG points_______________________

    Hi Jaheer
    If the only red cross is next to the condition evaluation job, I suppose you could just schedule up the job automatically in SM36. Just be sure that the RFC Destination is correctly configured.
    The program that you need to schedule is <b>RSWWCOND</b>. The SAP default is to call the job SWWCOND and schedule it to run every 30min. That should get rid of the red cross. And if not, you might find along the way why the Auto-Customising didn't work.
    Cheers

  • RAR: Best strategy for users/roles/profiles synchronization

    Hi all,
    Assuming that:
    1) we will be never interested about profiles risk analysis (just users and roles)
    2) roles risk analysis will be run first and after sometime (threee weeks) we will run it for users.
    and we will run batch risks analysis:
    Question 1) Is it possible to synchronize just roles and do it for users just when we want to execute risk analysis for them? Or is a best practice to synchronize always for users/roles and profiles eventhough risk analysis will not be done for all three?
    Question 2) If we execute just full sync and full risk analysis, users/roles or profiles deleted in backend between executions are also deleted from DB? or removal takes place only when executing incremental sync?
    Many thanks in advance. Best regards,
      Imanol

    Hi Imanol,
    Answer Q1: Yes, you can just select user and roles for the snych and risk analysis. Go to configuration-background jobs - shedule job. If you don't run risk analysis for profiles, you shouldn't sync and select them.
    Answer Q2: Both, the Full risk analysis will alwaly update your DB. I will recommend you, to do this job in some periodic times. The incremental sync job will as well update your DB, if anything changed in the backend system. Normally your are going to run your daily or weekly jobs with this selection.

  • Regarding Memory issues((error) while scheduling the job

    Hi Friends
    I am  facing memory issue while rerunning BODS jobs in production.As we have rapid mart when jobs got failed i rerun the
    job suddenly job got failed and  in logs i found Memory issue
    please help me what i have to do in steps
    Thanks

    I think there is no one solution to buffer pool issue. Buffer pool issue happens due to many reasons like how you design the data flow, requirement of push down or even insufficient memory in the running environment.
    You can check by checking 'collect statistics for optimization' during running the job. Also in the data flow, try changing from pageable cache to memory cache by right clicking and selecting properties.  The below link give some details on caching, might be helpful.

  • Inserted value too large for column error while scheduling a job

    Hi Everyone,
    I am trying to schedule a PL SQL script as a job in my Oracle 10g installed and running on Windows XP.
    While trying to Submit the job I get the error as "Inserted value too large for column:" followed by my entire code. The code is correct - complies and runs in Oracle ApEx's SQL Workshop.
    The size of my code is 4136 character, 4348 bytes and 107 lines long. It is a code that sends an e-mail and has a +utl_smtp.write_data([Lots of HTML])+
    There is no insert statement in the code whatsoever, the code only queries the database for data...
    Any idea as to why I might be getting this error??
    Thanks in advance
    Sid

  • Date format error while schedule a job!

    Dear all,
    I am using 11gR1 on Linux OS.
    I have to schedule a procedure that runs in mid night after 12:00 using dbms_scheduler.
    This is the code i am writing:
    begin
    dbms_scheduler.create_job(
    job_name => 'ATT_LATE_MIS_PRC_JOB'
    ,job_type => 'PLSQL_BLOCK'
    ,job_action => 'begin att_late_mis(1); end; '
    ,start_date => '16/10/2009 12:05 AM'
    ,repeat_interval => 'FREQ=DAILY'
    ,enabled => TRUE
    ,comments => 'Attendance MIS');
    end;
    and this is the error i am getting:
    ORA-01843: not a valid month
    ORA-06512: at line 2
    I don't know how to format date for this procedure. All i need to do is to simply schedule a procedure that runs at 12:05 daily.
    Thanks, Imran

  • BPM - Background Job for Reorganization = Not Scheduled

    Good afternoon, first of all thank you very much for the support they can provide. I have developed a JDBC interface -> BPM (Multimapping) which works well. Modify a Message Mapping in the BPM that I use for an RFC Lookup, I have added the Configurable Parameters in the BPM and Integration Directory and everything works fine at design time. But when running the interface at run time the message reaches the BPM and the error "error in BPE inbound Permanent processing".
    I have reviewed the Business Process Engine in the RWB and the item is Red Schedule Background Job for Reorganization and detail reads: "Background Job for Reorganization = Not Scheduled".
    As I can solve this problem. Thank you very much.
