Error while trying to add Master Data in S&OP

Hi,
I am getting the below error while trying to add new Master Data entries in S&OP. Can anyone help here please? I have added new items in the past, but did not get any error before.

Hi Vivek,
I have added Master Data in the past as well. Recently this system (Z45) was upgraded and the planning area was re-activated by my Project Lead. After the re-activation i am unable to add any Master Data and Save.

Error while trying to add an internal leaf

Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem while trying to add an internal leaf to an inner node in a hierarchy table.
Whenever I am trying to do so , I am getting an error message that
'One or more records failed a validation'.
I am not getting any clue why this is happening. Can any one provide me some idea to solve this problem?

Hi SAMRAT,
'One or more records failed a validation' - This statement points out that there is an MDM validation failure in the records.
You need to check for any validations for the Hierarchy table or the Hierarchy lookup filed in the Main table.
There should be a Validation that is running on the Hierarchy value/Node and preventing you from creating a node.
Setting the validation as None will not execute the validation on its on .

We are running into the error message "
(Close) realtime data load (DS 9ARAWCRT, QS SCACLNT800, DTA 9ARAWCRT) not started" Message Number /SAPAPO/PDEM119
While trying to change the demand in tcode /SAPAPO/SPPDMRD.
We have looked at OSS Notes 918444 and 967059 and it is not applicable to 7.0.
We have checked the RFC connection and it is correct as well. We are stuck and not able to find out the solution to this issue.
Please advise how we can fix this issue as it is holding up testing,

Error while realigning aggregates through master data attr. change run

Hi all,
We are using Sales Overview cube (SD_C03) on which we have built aggregates. now during the master data attribute change run it tries to realign the aggregate once the master data is loaded via Process chain. In this step we are facing an error:
"Error while procesing aggregate <aggregate technical name>"
From ST22 we can find
Database error text........: "ORA-14400: inserted partition key does not map to any partition"
Internal call code.........: "[RSQL/INSR//BIC/F200009 ]".
Whereas from SM21 we can find out:
Database error 14400 at INS access to table /BIC/F200009.
/BIC/F200009 is the fact table of one of the aggreates we have. really looking forward to your valuable suggestion.

Run transaction OMSL.
Create an entry for MATCONV in the overview screen.
Double click on this line and set the length parameter for MATCONV.
the same transaction exists in the r/3 OLTP system compare the 2 systems to set the right values in the details screen in BW.

I am uploading the master data of functional location through LSMW .I had completed all the steps except "Run Batch Input Session".
In that step it is showing as functional location already exists, after this error the remaining functional locations are updated in sap or it will stop total transaction by this error???
how can u upload the remaining in to sap by skipping already existed one????

Error while trying to add a new field in search criteria by VO extension

I am trying to add a new field by using the VO extension to a seeded OAF page used to search Repository contracts.
I get the following error on opening the page after I have compiled my code on server and bounced apache.
Message not found. Application: FND, Message Name: FND_VIEWOBJECT_NOT_FOUND. Tokens: VONAME =SSPN_AdvancedSearchAttributesPVO; APPLICATION_MODULE = oracle.apps.okc.repository.search.server.ContractsAdvSearchAM;
I extended the AM also after this to include the extended VO but still the error comes.
This page is a dynamic search page where the results change based on the different search criteria.

Error while trying to Lock the data in Essbase

Hi All,
I am currently facing a issue in Essbase when I am trying to lock the data it shows me the following error message.
Error Encountered is : "You do have sufficient access to perform a lock on this database". I have checked with the administrators / support team and according to them there is nothing wrong with my access. I have the write access to the database and I should be able to lock and send the data but they are unable to figure out why my access is not working or i am facing the above issue. They asked me to select update mode in the essbase options and try but even that didn't work. I am able to make the changes on the same data in Hyperion Planning. I want to lock and send the data directly to server. But I am unable to lock the data. Please expedite.

From your post, it sounds like the problem is not Update mode since you mentioned you tried turning it on (I do not recommend having it on). It does sound like a security issue. Depending on the version, planning and Essbase can use different IDs for the same perosn (If I remember planning used to create two IDs one for planning and one for Essbase) The Essbase id had less access than the planning id did. I would test this by having a test Essbase ID set up that has write access and see if that ID can write directly to Essbase. If it can, I would look at filters and groups the ID is on to see if there is some sort of conflict. I have sen that message when a user had read access to part of the DB and write access to another part, but they were pulling data from the read access section only

No Data dropped while trying to deleting Master Data

Hi All,
I recently enhanced a Master Data to include a field and needed to drop the content of the Master Data, then reload. I try via the InfoObject (right click -> Delete Data) and it would not drop data - Message: Not all master data can be deleted. Actual No data was dropped. Could anyone provide assitance.

Hi Kinglsey,
You cannot delete the maste data for char values that are a part of transactional data loaded in cube or ODS objects. Since you have added a field you can just do a ful load of data to populate the new field as well. Since it is master data, there is no harm in doing a reload as transactional numbers are not affected.

i changed my xml by replacing update stmt in <insert> but still facing same problem.
One thing the table with columns customer name, amount,comments.
the customer name have some spl character like *"&"* (john&Franklin).I think this might be a problem(special char &),due to this getting error????
Sax parser returned an exception.

SAX parsor is not able to read this character???

While we are trying to reteive data with 5-6 dimensions we are getting below error.
