Error with reCAPTCHA when submitting form on Business Catalyst hosted site

Hi
Just had a client complain that the webform on their MUSE website isn't submitting correctly. When I tested this myself the image verification for reCAPTCHA is failing and throwing out an error on a new page.
As it is a BC hosted website, the form no longer requires a verification key (it was previously hosted elsewhere until recently).
I've since discovered this happening on another of my websites... Any ideas please?
The error I see is:
ERROR: An error occurred. Image verification failed. If you believe this is incorrect, please contact your system administrator or go back and re-submit the form

There can be few reasons for this including captcha or recatcha included in the form , any html edit with form etc.
Please provide the page url where form is inserted so that we can check on our end, additionally have you tried to re-insert the form and then check or update the site again from Muse to BC ?

Unfortunately, the error came from a client who was submitting a form via Mac OS. He stated that when he attempted to submit he received a symbol error.
On another note, I did experience issues with periods (.) within another form such as 2009.01 and 2011.25. When I downloaded the files corresponding to the numbers, it wouldn’t allow me to save it with the period (used an underscore instead).

Can Business Catalyst host a sub-domain?

Can BC host a sub-domain? If so then we can make arrangements to update our domain DNS and point to that address.
Please advise whether BC can host sub-domains? We have a parent domain that we currently use for our marketing website although require a domain DNS to point to BC to make it live. Would a sub-domain be sufficient?

I'd recommend you connect in using SFTP/FTP and simply download your site assets.

Encoding error message when submitting form to REST endpoint

When submitting a stand-alone form to the REST endpoint of a process I receive the following message in Acrobat reader (translated from german):
"An error occured when submitting the form. Content of type text/plain;charset=utf-8 could not be processed"
Despite the error message the process gets started and works fine.
In terms of usability I would like to get rid of this error message since it irritates the ordinary user.
This happens only in Acrobat Reader (version is 10.1) not in Pro
My workbench version is 10.0.1

The No Content approach should work. Can you show the exact code you're using to generate the response? Did you add "#FDF" to the end of the URL for the submit form action?
If you haven't looked into it already, consider returning an FDF that causes a popup dialog to display as a way of providing feedback.

"NO_RECEIVER_CASE_BE" error with SOAP Sender assigned to a Business Service

Hi all,
we have a strange error with XI3.0
We created a configuration scenario where the initial step is done by a Business System, that uses a SOAP Sender communication channel to send its request. And this works great when testing it with XMLSpy.
But we then needed to shift from a Business System to a Business Service, as the machine sending the SOAP request changed and was not anymore part of the landscape, but elsewhere.
Hence we recreated a SOAP sender which we assigned to this new business service, doing absolutely the same configuration work as for the other soap sender of the former business system.
Yet when testing it through XMLSpy, we everytime get a NO_RECEIVER_CASE_BE error back, stating that "No receiver could be determined". Yet when checking in sxi_cache, receiver determination is clearly there. All the blogs I went into are only refering to Business System for a SOAP sender, so I was wondering if any of you already managed to assign a SOAP sender to a business Service.

or to send the data to XI ? (async)?
if async then make sure
you use <b>Quality of Service</b> other then BE
in your soap adapter channel

Error with JavaScript on XDP form rendered as HTML

I have saved a form as an XDP and am rendering it as HTML with LiveCycle Forms Server ES. When I click on certain form buttons that cause JavaScript code to fire, I get the following error:
this._peer is undefined
I've seen this error posted in a few Adobe forum posts without answers. Any ideas?

It is a regular button that fires code that does a popup dialog box. It works fine when the form is rendered as a PDF; I get the "this._peer is undefined" error when I render it as HTML and try to run the code. Here's the code:

Integration with muse created forms and business catalyst mailing lists

I have just spent a long time on a chat session with support after spending most of a day trying to sort out how to have the people who fill in our contact us page to be automatically added to a mailing list to keep in contact with them, but it seems there isnt a strong link with muse to do this easily.
When you create a form in muse, it has an option to send the completed forms to a selected email adress. It would be great if you there was also an option to add that contact to a selected mailing list group already created in Business Catalys
I would have also like the full integration of form central to be inside muse with all its functions. So I could create gift voucher orders forms and receive payments by paypal or other options.
It has been a frustrating day trying to figure it out as the forums didnt seem to help with the info i needed.
It seems to use Business Catalyst webforms requires html coding knowledge which I dont have. you can created a basic form in there easily, but if you want to make it two collumns wide or other changes, it is very difficult to use with coding
A decent wysiwig editor in Business Catalyst would be great

Overall I think Muse is excellent so I am surprised, this part of the software doesnt work as I expected.

Error with Layouts when applying package

I created a package with the "Deploy UI without pictures" unit, then sent it to the CRM so it is automatically distributed and executed on the mobile clients.
The replication with ConnTrans runs fine, but when upgrading we have an error with the Layouts/ folders, for all languages.
The error is
Error description : Error opening File
Error occurred in module ClientUpgrade.Shared.CCompressor
Return value of command: 6
I applied the OSS Note 950549 but nothing changes
Any idea ?

this problem occurs when one of the components used by the Client
upgrade tool is missing.
Do you use the same machine for upgrading and deploying. Please check
whether the file sapcar.exe is present in the same folder as
ClientUpgradeDeployer.exe. You don't need to specify the path to it.
Please check the location of the ClientUpgradeDeployer.exe.
Please also test whether the problem is related to write protection and
empty spaces in the temp folder. Make sure the temp folder doesn't
contain blank spaces.
Please also test whether the folder sap\mobile\bin is read only.
If yes, then please remove the "ReadOnly" attribute
since the SAPCAR.exe creates a files in this directory

Integrating newsletter submission form into adobe muse (with business catalyst hosting)

I have seen some posts on this question but i don't quite understand how i should go about this. I have created a form, for my newsletter, in muse which fits the style of my website, i would like to use this form to automate a response when someone signs up to it. Will the visitors details be stored on the business catalyst CRM database? Any help would be appreciated.

Visitors details will be stored on Business catalyst. I found a video, that shows how you can add the BC modeules in Muse, and customize it, it is using News section for example, this will give you an idea, how you can do this for Newsletter

Untrusted site error when going to temporary business catalyst site

For testing purposes I created a test page on the business catalyst site. However, my client and I both received an "untrusted site" pop-up when going to the site. Is this common? How can I correct?

That will be because you went to https: version of the site where it does not have a security certificate because BC goes through a certain domain for that.
Post the URL you were using.

We have a few websites and have been using form cental to create contact us forms, gift voucher ordering, and event booking/payment through paypal for these sites.
I thought that any results we got (ie names and email addresses) would be going directly into the business catalyst mailing lists so that when we send out a newsletter, those new enquiries and customers get it.
But Ive now realised there is no link between the too (frustrating)
So Im now wondering why i even need to be paying for form central.
Can I do all of that in business catalyst?
Also I tried to find out how to upgrade my BC to include ecommerce (since Im assuming I cant may gift voucher order forms and link to paypal with BC webmarketing plan)
I eventually found you have to go to BC: Site settings >Site management> and then there is supposed to be an option that says upgrade... but the only option it has is 'delete'!
Getting a bit frustrated, so Im hoping someone can give me a hand on this one. :-)

Hi Brian,
That is a different Adobe product for global use, and as you noted does not tie into Business Catalyst.
If you have Business Catalyast you do not need to be paying for Form Central, there is no where in the documentation that it states you need to use it. If you found somewhere that said you did, please let the BC support team know so they can update that information.
Upgrade should appear in the top left, if not and/or If you been using Muse:

You will need to build web forms and mailing lists to have those work with BC and you will need to set up products, catalogs and use the payment from in BC for eCommerce.
