Errors writing to rehydration DB.

Hi,
We have a BPEL flow that works fine when under low loads but as soon as we test it with a fairly realistic amount of concurrent threads (50+ say) through the stress test utility on the console we are getting lots of errors thrown up on the server console from where BPEL was started. (it may be bad configuration on my part) The errors appear to be around attempts to read/write to the rehydration store while being under a heavy load. - Taking some random (repetitive) errors :
<2005-05-20 17:46:11,698> <ERROR> <myapp.collaxa.cube.engine.dispatch> <BaseScheduledWorker::process> Failed to handle dispatch message sync store message 34909 ... exception Message handle error.

I have looked at the database and everything looks ok there as regards rollback segments etc.. is there anything I should be looking for in one of the settings in Orabpel/jdbc or something else I should be looking for?
I am using a thin connection from 2.1.1 to 9.2.0.4 DB on a RedHat Linux system. Where the errors occur, then that instance doesnt produce an audit trail visible through the BPEL console - but there is definitely a connection as most of the audit trails are being logged..
The flow works perfect - it is only the storing of the audit trail is the problem.
anybody see something like this before - any ideas how I can prevent it?
Richard.

Thanks for the suggestion around increasing the <transaction-config timeout="30000" /> setting - that seems to have removed the errors coming up on server output for us.
To answer the other question posted - (Middletier vs standalone editions) I am running BPEL PM 2.1.1. and using the standalone oc4j server (10.1.2) that comes built-in within this version. Could you please clarify what you mean by Midtier version? - (standalone vs midtier). Are you refering to doing a reconfiguration to point to a full iAS middletier OC4J container or is it a seperate release I have overlooked.?

  • When downloading iTunes, I got a message about error writing to file and it told the file. Then it said to verify that you have access to that directory. I have no idea how to fix it. I could really use some help, please.

I was trying to download iTunes on my computer, and while doing so, I got this message: Error writing to file: C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Apple/Apple Application Support/Apple Versions.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory. I have downloaded iTunes numerous times and I have never had this problem. If anyone knows what's going on, I would really appreciate the help.

Well, there's definitely a mac and a Windows version. And you're at the right page. I think the problem is that someone forgot (or decided not to) to update the text at teh bottom of the page to have Mac and Windows.
Just push the button, you'll get the Mac update no problem.

    Hi Rangnath,
For running SharePoint Designer 2013, you need to install Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework or higher.
Please uninstall the Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework, and install it again. After that, reboot your machine.

I recieve the following error message when trying to install Quicktime for Windows "Error writing to file C:/Program Files/QuickTime/QTSystems/QuickTimeCheck.ocx. Verify that you have access to that directory."  I just trying to get the latest version of iTunes.  Thanks

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

  • Error writing to install cache

For testing (of a product using the web server) purposes, I've had occassion to deinstall and reinstall the iPlanet Web Server v6.0 SP 5. I'm also using the iPlanet Directory Server v5.1 and am careful to install it before the web server.
The first time I in stall all is well. But after I deinstall and attempt to reinstall I am getting error msgs:
"Error writing AdminPort to install cache" (and 5 other similar msgs about failure to write items to the install cache).
So far, I've been unable to find any documentation about the install cache or why the install is having problems writing to it.
Any help or suggestions is appreciated.
I'm running under Win2000 and have tried the install under the Administrator account.

Beat:  I ran as Administrator and tried downloading a second program  Same thing.  Then I check I I saw the file was Hidden so I inchecke
d that.  Same thing.  Then I checked the Nikon D40X folder and tried to explore it.  I got a message that the files were corrupted
.  So apparently LR3 couldn't get in there.  SO I tried to delete that file.  No good.
So now what?  What created that file in the first place?  Maybe I have to re-install that program.  Ignoring it as an option doesn't work.  It just ends the installatiopn of LR3.
    Any suggestions?

Please help for I need this for working purposes.

    Check whether the folder c:\Program files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader
    exists. Does it exist?
If so, look whether the file acrord32.exe exists in that folder. Does
it exist? If so, try and delete it. Can you?
If it doesn't exist. Try and create a file by that name. Can you?
In each case, if you get an error message, what is it?

  • Error writing workspace file

    Hi all!
When I compile my CVI Project I get sometimes the following message: "Error writing workspace file d:\.... (File already exists)", and afterwards the question to continue or not (see the pictures).
When I continue, the existing .cws file will be deleted. A new cws file is created only on the next compilation. So, when I close CVI before the next compilation, the cws file is lost. Not dangerous but annoying.
I observe this behavior only since version 2013.
    What's wrong?

    Hi, Thomas!
It seems like my similar problem (http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=180&message.id=60376#M60376).
Unfortunately I never beat this (the "solution" doesn't work, the problrem persists). I try to set / change W7 directory access rights without success.
By some indicies I suspect that the cause may be somewhere in file access process on a multi-core computer (I have Dell VOSTRO with Core i7) - but I do not have idea how to verify this.
