Apps are forever linked to the ID used to download them. The only way to fix this is to delete the apps in question and download them again with the new ID

I noticed yesterday my Iphone 4s does not say verizon at the top anymore. I tried calling *228 and did both options mutiple times and it hasnt changed. Also when i go to settings>general>about the network tab says unavailable. how can i fix this
Can you make and receive calls and texts? If you can, I wouldn't worry about it. If you can't, you may need to call Verizon. However, try this first. The 4S has a Vodafone SIM card in it for foreign travel. Try taking the SIM out and doing the *228 again. Once it activates properly, you should be able to put the SIM back for safe keeping. It's not used in the U.S.

When I try to save my home pages / tabs, I can't, because this option is greyed out. I even uninstalled FF with Revo Uninstaller completely, reinstalled with no new plugins or extensions, and it remains greyed out. The only thing that I can do, is pin the tabs, but I wish to be able to use this option. If I can't, I won't know if its Firefox, or malware or? Thank you in advance for any help. The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.

Anytime I drag my cursor across, or try to click on a "mailto" email link on any webpage, it will display an incorrect e-mail address (it seems to default to one in particular). It will not open a new e-mail window and if I "copy e-mail address" it's the wrong one. I've tried everything and was hoping with new updates the problem would solve itself but obviously it hasn't.
HELP ! This is driving me CRAZYFor the settings to check to ensure that Firefox opens your email client, see [[changing the e-mail program used by Firefox]]. I don't know why it shows the wrong email address.

Today all my emails started coming and going out as Holidays in United States. I can't seem to be able to fix this. Anybody experiencing this? How do we fix it?

I had the same issue , as some one suggested please check in your contact under your name .
If your name in contact list does not have email address it will come as 'Holidays in United states' (Which is so frustrating as I am working , LOL), you need to add your email address in your contact name and then it will go.

I dont' want to have to keep manually moving each download off of the desktop. The downloads folder is selected as the location where i would like downloads to go. They are downloaded there but an additional copy keeps showing up on my desktop. Help!
What are dmgs? I downloaded Microsoft Silverlight and the icon showed up on my desktop. I tried moving it to trash but it wanted to delete the whole program instead of just a shortcut. I opened the general tab in Finder's preferences and the only options that were selected to show up on desktop were External Drives and Cds, Dvds, and Ipods. THanks so much!

My laptop won't accept my username (or the old username) since I changed it (I wanted to shorten it). I originally thought it was the password so went through the process of reinstalling the system with the original disk (with apple support help over the phone), but that wasn't the problem. How do I get the computer to recognize my username? Thanks!

Repeat until it shows no errors fixed.

VZ Navigator doesn't seem to have my business address in their system. How do I add it or fix it? Right now when I put the address in it takes me to a totally different part of the city.

Since installing Mountain Lion I am unable to access my address book when sending or forwarding an e-mail. The insert address link at the top does not function. Previously it would be blue and would respond when clicked on now it does nothing. Is there a fix for this?
