Ever since I installed the latest version I can no longer click through the links in my MS Outlook Emails it tells me the file can't be found any suggestions?
This is what it shows when I click on any link:
General failure, The URL was: http://.....The system cannot find the file specified.

That file might have moved to a different location on the server. I think you'll need to check with RefWorks support or your local IT department on why the install page links do not work.

Ever since I installed the Safari 5.1.7 update, my trackpad does not functing well. I know its not a faulty trackpad because it also malfunctions when I install a different mouse. The malfunction happens when I launch the Safari application. How do I fix this? Is there a way to undo a software update?
Try rebooting into Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. I'm thinking one or more may have become corrupt. Have you done any basic troubleshooting such as removing he MTP's batteries and restarting it or restarting the computer or anything else?
Also PLEASE use the Profile Update , otherwise we cannot tell anything about your system which makes it extremely difficult to troubleshoot. -

I did do a permissions fix with the disk utility and same problem!

I think I might be demanding my money back for this Leopard!Below where you see the Read and Write permissions on that folder there is a little triangle next to the word Details. Scroll down a bit and you'll see a tab to click to Apply to Enclosed Items. If it says you have read and write on the main folder, click the Apply button to make sure that all folders inside the main folder also have both Read and Write permission.

i cant login anywhere as all my passwords are saved in firefox, i cant even access teh firefox preference to get my password, it's so sadYou likley have a corrupted Firefox preference or other support file in your User/Library folder.
Programs load these files from the user account to adjust to user specifications, instead of having multiple copies of the same program on the machine.
So when you reinstalled Firefox, it reinstalled the progrma only and the user support files remained from before.
To prove this point, use System Preferences to create another Admin account and log into it, Firefox should run like a charm.
To remove the Firefox support files from the problem user account your going to need to locate these files and delete them one at a time and try FF again and again.
The first one you shoull try is your FF .plist file located in your User/Library folder.
Clicm on the Finder and use the Go > Go to Folder and paste this
~/Library/Preferences
and press Go.
Now scroll down until you see the Firefox or Mozilla .plist file and Trash it, quit and restart Firefox, it will recreate the preference file with default settings you will have to reset it.
Next run through the list of fixes #1-13 here before proceeding.

If you need help deleting other FF files, download the free Easy Find from MacUpdate.com and search for anything "Mozilla" or "Firefox" in your User account only and take your chances you hopefully won't delete your password file in the process.
You should have site passwords written down someplace and locked up tightin case you need them, a computer isn't totally safe and reliable. -

Ever since I installed Safari 5.1 on my PC (XP) I can no longer access the pdf files on my website. I have no problems with Chrome and Firefox. I keep on getting a message from WebKit2WebProcess.exe that the LogTransport2.dill was not found. (I HATE PCs...) I tried reinstalling Acrobat 9. I tried reinstalling Safari. I even tried an older version of Safari. Nothing Helped. Others have tried it on their machine, and it worked fine. But I do not know what is the matter with mine. I suspect the root cause is the missing LogTransport2.dill file. But I do not know how to go about getting it. Your help is truly appreciated. My website is http://www.hlmartworks.com.

Ever since I upgraded to the newest version, I've had nothing but trouble with my internet. Very frequent crashes. All of a sudden the whole screen will start flashing like the computer is going to explode. Freezes. The video plug in (QuickTime?) crashes, there is a visual warp halfway down my screen that makes the type look funny when I scroll a page. I'm thinking of de-installing Firefox. Can you help?

Not really a voltage concern.But I guess it could if both drives are running at the same time.With IDE, one is limited to two drives in a chain, and these drives cannot work at the same time. In essence, they must "take turns".So by putting 1 HDD as primary master and cd as slave,you will get the full performance of your drive.Most peeps only run CD roms for program installs and or CD burning or copying anways.
As far as the cable,yes there are 80 wire flat cables that work just fine.The only reason to go to the round cables is to improve air-flow and or the length of the cable itself.
I am sure many people use it the old fashion way with no problems.I just experienced a performance issue when I had HDD's on the same chain.It was mainly because I load all my games on my D drive.It also kept defaulting it to PIO mode which is the slowest mode.Since swaping the drives around on the chain(IDE1=HDD-Operating system-primary master and CD burner as Primary slave)(IDE2=HDD-Storage/gaming-secondary master and my DVD rom as secondary slave)Both drives run in UMDA-MODE-5 set up that way with no more problems -

Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to search for an item named "Safari Extensions List". If found, delete it. Quit Keychain Access.
Quit and relaunch Safari. -
Hi, I reecntly purchased a Mac and the Pages App. But now I find that I cant open a document I have been working on. It has previously been saved without a problem now all I get is a box stating that the file cannot be opened. It is visible in both the Pages Windows and under Recent Items but just will not open. Any suggestions please?

Maybe the document is corrupted. Can you open other Pages documents? Preview may open it. Right click (or control click) on the document in Finder and Open With > Preview.
If that works, Edit > Select All, Edit > Copy. Then paste into a blank Pages document. Formatting may be messed up, but you will have editable text. Then Save (with a different name), close and see if you can open the new document.

Any suggestions on how to retain hyperlinks in a workbook after emailing to another user. The links to external documents were lost. However the links to other sheets within the book were retained.
AlanProbably some form of corruption. If you already tried JetComp (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/295334) try copying objects to a new empty db. Chances are they all copy except for one. Of course you could
go back to a backup as well, perhaps just to retrieve that failing object.

Did you try reinstalling the app and contacting the developer (there should be a contact link on the app's description page in the store) ? If you don't get a reply from the developer then you could try
'report a problem' link from the purchase history on your computer's iTunes instead of on your iPad : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -
