Every time I try to install Firefox, it tells me I need to reboot my computer to get rid of the previous Firefox uninstall.
I had used Firefox in the past but it wasn't supported by my school's websites and I uninstalled it. Now it is supported and I want to reinstall it. Can someone help me with why it would keep asking me to reboot my computer after I've already restarted it 4 times now? Thanks.
Hi,
Please try after manually deleting the old Firefox [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory Installation directory] (usually '''Computer''' > '''?:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox''' or '''?:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox''') and the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] (usually '''Computer''' > '''?:\Users\?\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla'''

I have a MacBook 13 inch (Late 2008) with OS X 10.6.8 installed and every time I try to install Yosemite it tells me it cannot be updated on my MacBook. Why?
Because the minimum requirement, as stated it the Yosemite specs, is for a Late 2008 Aluminum MacBook.
MacBook – Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009
MacBook Air – Late 2008
MacBook Pro – Mid/late 2007
Mac mini – Early 2009
iMac – Mid 2007

Xserve – Early 2009 -
when i open iTunes on my MacBook Air, it tell me i need to change the language version to English....why is it telling me this and how do i change it?
With that particular message, I'd first try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:
Can you launch your iTunes now? -
I've been trying tobgo through iTunes to do it but this thing is driving me crazy bc it's going back nd forth nd I'm going in circles trying to figure this thing out
You have to download it in iTunes and then sync it with your iPad 2. The reason you have to do this is because there is a 10MB limit when downloading apps when using 3G.

I am unable to update any add-ons at all. Every time I try and install an add-on or even the new "show hidden add-ons" add-on, I get a server error. How do I fix this?
You may have triggered some intermittent database issues but it should be running smooth by now. Let us know if you still see server errors.
Also, if your addons appear to go missing after updating there is a workaround http://blog.mozilla.com/addons/2011/09/28/issue-discovered-with-firefox-add-on-upgrades/ And there is a 7.0.1 fix on its way. -

Every time I try to install itunes on my PC I get the following message, and I can't seem to find a solution. Any help out there?? "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run."

Every time I try to install an update for iTunes 11.0.2, I get an error message 103. Has anyone else had this problem and found a way to fix this?
I did it the .dmg way alone and has problems with itunes crashing. This is a better way to ensure that there is not anything left behind to cause issues.
You need to backup your computer then uninstall I-tunes and reinstall itunes.
Delete iTunes
Deleting iTunes is not recommended unless you know what you’re doing.
Launch Terminal from the UTILITIES within Applications
Type the following commands:
cd /Applications/
This brings you into the Applications directory, the next command deletes iTunes itself:
sudo rm -rf iTunes.app/
Enter the Administrator password to confirm
There is no warning or confirmation other than entering the admin password, iTunes will immediately be deleted, effectively uninstalling it from the Mac.
Deleting the iTunes application will NOT delete the ITUNES or music, and any purchases bought through iTunes will still remain tied to the Apple ID used to originally buy them.
You can download the newest version from Apple, and running their installer will bring iTunes back to life on your computer.

Every time I try and install iTunes 9.2 my laptop freezes up
Every time I try and install iTunes 9.2 my Acer Aspire 5920 freezes up when the install gets to registering iTunes Automation Service. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. I have the iPhone 3GS 32 GB, with the new iOS 4 OS. Since I have the OS upgrade I can't get update my iPhone without 9.2. In the past I have had problems getting iTunes to update but have always been able to go back to an earlier version but now with iOS 4 that is no longer an option.
For "Key not valid for use in specified state" errors try moving the folder RSA from C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA to say C:\<User>\RSA (just in case there should be a need to restore it) then try installing again. This folder appears to act as a cache and should be rebuilt automatically as required.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Every time I try to install this update software it fails with 'An error occurred'! This is happening far too often! Can anyone help me? Thanks
I have had the same problem for the past 10 days. The update fails about 75% of the way through and said that the there is an error in the download of 7.0.6. It has been unsuccessful. I tried to update through ITunes and the download finishes and nothing further happens. There is no error message number, just stating there is an error. I sure would like some help in resolving this problem. The update went just fine for my IPhone5S and my husband's IPhone 5.

Every time I try to install iTunes 10.7 onto my PC it fails and the dialog box indicates that iTunes.cab file are corrupt and cannot be used. I have cleared any Apple files from my Program Files, so there is nothing to be corrupted. It is on a PC with Window 7 and 64 bit. Trying to figure out how to get by this step?
Hi There,
I had the same problem took me several hours to try and sort it out but nothing worked.
I then went to the following apple link

Follow everything to a T and you will get the use of your Itunes again.
Hope this helps. Good luck (And remember to breath lol )
