I was just having the same problem and a friend suggested I search for an app called "free memory for iphone" it cost 99cents But after I did it and then refreshed until the numbers didnt increase anymore, IT WORKED! and my apps all open now Good luck!

I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well. -

Ltunes crashes every time I try to use it.
Why does itunes crash every time I try to use it? Begins startup and get message that itunes is in compatability mode (which I don't know what it is nor have ever set itunes to run in it). Then itunes crashes every time even after deleting and reinstalIing itunes.

Settings > iTunes and App store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID. -
I have tried to changed my Apple ID and every time I try to use the new Apple ID it won't let me because when i try to update an app the old ID comes up to sign in. I deleted that account so it will not let me use my new one.

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID. -
Every time I try to use apple ID for face time I got an error message "the username or password was incorrect" although they are right and I use them in App Store and I cloud even after resetting my password, the problem happens also with iMessage . Please help
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Every time I try to DL an app it wants a credit card, the app is free! And I already used my password.
If you didn't create your account with NONE set up using the link below you can purchase add a credit card then take it off right away. Or you can purchase a gift card with cash so that Apple won't have access to your credit card, if you're concerned.

Some advice from various locations on the web (use google). Each works for some users, not all. Give these a try.
Try to deauthorize the computer then authorize it.
select song or app. that's not authorized, itunes will ask for your password, enter password, click ok, and ok again. Done.
I had the same problem when I switched from my laptop to a macbook. What I figured out was that I had purchased applications under two different email addresses. You can click on one of the applications that is not syncing and go to "File" then "Get Info" to find out what email address you used to purchase those applications. Hopefully this helps.
Sometimes a reboot of either the computer or the iPhone or both fixes this, if you’ve authorized already. -

Are you using a proxy or a VPN to connect to the internet? If you are, this is possibly the reason why. I suggest using anothe connection which is not a proxy.

Every time I try to use my camera, the screen goes black.
Every time I try to use the camera on my 4S, the screen goes black and goes back to my home screen. Also, my call waiting does not show who is calling in when i am already on the phone with a caller. This just stared in the last couple of weeks. I'm very frustrated. I wonder what else isn't working that I haven't come upon yet.

Why my iphone produces a bug after it renew for OS5.1.1. The bug is when I use message, type a Chinese word, and then using a releveant word, then the program automately closes. Every time I try the same procedure, it definitely closes.
Nobody knows? Not even administrators?
