Every time I try to watch a video on some sites, my computer always crashes.

I tried updating to the most recent Adobe Flash player but that made no difference. What else could it be?

christopher8991, just what are you saying? The Apple TV uses wfi and not bluetooth.

It doesn't matter what I do I still get the plugin to crash. I've removed every trace of Internet Explorer in the registry. Download fresh versions of Mozilla and Silverlight. I uninstalled both of them and cleaned any lingering files. Reinstalled Mozilla, and Silverlight. Same error. No more movies for me. :>/ See entry below.

The video is certainly available as I can watch the identical video on my macbook.

If you went to m.youtube.com did you switch to "Desktop" mode at some point? If so, switch back to "Mobile version" (at bottom of page).

I don't have any Safari extensions that I know of. I didn't install any anti-virus.
This is on the error message when it comes up. I went to the WebProcess application in Time Machine and tried to restore it to one year ago, but it didn't fix the problem. As I recall, this began about the time Apple and YouTube parted ways- whether that is coincidence or not...

I get playback error messages every time i try to watch ant video on internet

SO i have this problem with Internet videos for example: YouTube, and other sites which contains videos. I have tried to download YouTube app but I still get those error messages "playback error", I am using video downloader pro to download videos, but the problem is that I can't watch them... I don't get this problem when trying to view videos IN my iPod though. I think this problem may caused that I have gave my friend to crack my iPod because before cracking it everything was fine. I havent tried to restore my ipod yet. Is there a way to solve this problem? Please help

After last OS update Why does my ipad browser crash every time I try to watch a video?

I have tried several different browsers and the same thing happens....i have also noticed that when using facebook in a browser the page will load the timeline and when I scroll down to the bottom of the page it is stuck with the loading icon....I have an iPad 3 that was running fine until the latest upgrade...I have tried all the usual fixes...closed all open programs, rebooted, cleared cache...etc. Any help is appreciated.

Every time I try to play a video online with my mac, the mac crashes. I sometimes get "plugin error". What's the problem?

There is, I am running this on all my machines.
Try this, double click on your HD, then click Library, internet plug-ins, then find all the Flash plug ins (also check anything such as Dis-abled plugins, same folder as well as a seperate folder withe same name, find anything with flash and highlight it and press COMMAND-DELETE.
Then logout and login,

Adobe crashes every time I try to watch You Tube

For 9 solid days we have tried to watch You Tube and the Adobe Flashplayer crashes everytime. We have done everything known to man to fix it. We can play Farmville but not watch BBC videos. We have cleaned the computer, unloaded and reloaded Adobe. We have scanned the computer for viruses. But nothing solves it. A man in the computer shop said he could fix it in an hour - if he can why can't I? PLEASE HELP

No we have not tried disabling - where do we find this?
Our operating system is Windows XP and we are using Firefox now. We did have internet explorer but it wasn't working on that so we changed.

Every time I try to upload a video to youtube or a pictures to a blog service, such as tumblr, I am unable to do so with the default uploading options (usually something that allows multiple uploads, etc). Instead, I can upload these media using their "basic upload" functions. Why and what can be done?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

try visiting this Adobe page — does it show that some version of Flash is currently installed on your MacBook Pro, or does just a grey box show? If it’s the latter, then you’ll need to install Flash; instructions to do so can be found further down on that same page.
