EWA report: didnt send to SAP!!! Help Please

Hi experts,
All of my servers generated EWA reports, but it did not sent to SAP. I have the checked mark to send to SAP.... It was working fine. one of my team members, he deleted all the jobs and scheduled em again.... which perticular job do I need to schedule to send to SAP? I thought this is the job that needs be schedulled >>> "SEND_SYSTEM_RELATIONSHIP_TO_SUPP". this job is working fine. Other than that, I dont understand why it didnt send to SAP?

Hi Afi,
Kindly note the sequence of steps to be done for EWA generation.
1. Setup of the Server, database and system in transaction SMSY.
2. Generating the RFC's for the System and ensuring that the trusted
RFC works.
3. Adding the system to a logical component and assigning the logical
component to a Solution Landscape created in DSWP.
3. Setting up of EWA from the Solution Settings from the operations
setup in DSWP.
4. Configuring the SDCC / SDCCN on the satellite system (see note Note 763561 ) and adding the Solution Manager RFC to the SDCC settings.
5. Refreshing of sessions via the SDCCN transaction on the Satellite
system. This can be automated via the Auto session Manager Report.
6. Processing of the session and sending the collected data to Solution
manager.
7. Processing the collected data in the Solution Manager System and
generating the EWA Report.

Thanks for your answer. Apprciate it very much. Just prior to receiving your email, I got back online. However, as I had tried what you suggested (and a lot more as I am 'reasonably' competent), and had been so doing since yesterday afternoon, I do believe that what you suggested was correct - that it was my third rate ISP that was at fault.

How to get reports cumulated balances? need help please

Dear all,
I need your help please in this issue.
I am creting a report using reports designer in oracle, well the fact is i don't know how to do the following:
if i have for example in the report the following to be diplayed :
Date Amount Balance
25/5/2011 2000
27/5/2011 5000 should be calculated and equal to 2000+5000=*7000*
28/5/2011 4000 calculated and equal to 7000 + 4000=*11000*
29/5/2011 1000 calculated equal to 11000 + 1000 = 12000
what is the method so i can get the balance values calculated 7000, 11000 and 12000? what do i do? any hints please

Using analytic function can be done through query as below...

MRP Exception report to send to SAP inbox

Hello friends,
The MRP exception report comes to my outlook and these reports are huge in size. I want them to go to my SAP inbox instead of outlook. I have changed the communication method of my user setting from "INT E-MAIL" to "E-Mail" but it didn't solve the problem.
Could you please help me?

Hi Amit,
The issue is, when the MRP exception reports are generated, the reports come to my outlook. I want these reports to go directly to my SAP inbox without any manual intervention and I also do not want them to come to my MS outlook.
This works for other users and after doing a comparision with their user setting, I changed my communication method to 'E-Mail' but this didn't help me.
I think I could make myself clear. Please help me out if you have the solution.

even i am facing the same issue i am using email account which is on exchange server 2008 and able to recieve emails perfectly fine but, issue is when i try to send email thru my Mac mail client ( mail 3.0 [930.3]) it gives error. I checked this connection doctor as well didnt got any error messAGE authentication was done . But still cant send mail out checked for ports as well all are open on router firewall but still no luck can anyone help me on this. Thanks

I am facing problem in getting printout from desired tray in reports 10g.I have below beforereport trigger written:

Retrieving pricing information for salesorder from SAP - help please!!!

For an online synchrone interface between a Delphi application and SAP R/3 I need to determine the correct prices for a order / item.
I try to use BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE to do this (which should work for this purpose), but the BAPI doesn't return the NET_VALUE for the orderitem (it does return other data however).
A possible reason is that de simulation generates a salesorder that's incomplete, because the weight is missing for the items. I can't find which fields to use for this in the BAPI (in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 thsi fields are in the ORDER_ITEMS_IN structure - GROSS_WGHT en NET_WEIGHT).
Does anybody know how the weight can be passed on to the BAPI or is there another way of determing the prices for a salesorder (without creating a salesorder in SAP)?
Help would be very much appriciated!

Pricing is a big part of Sales and Distribution.
Every company has their own pricing routines and they determine it based on the conditions.
For ex:
1. Military Orders have separate discounts
2. If an order is more than $1 Million probably company wants to give a discount.
These are just examples.
For your onlin sync interface, what you can do is write a proxy which creates the sales order and read the SD tables it send back the informatoin (I do not have on hand system to check which BAPI to use)
I think you should work with your R/3 Developer and Functional analyst. If you are the ABAP developer too, provided some time I might be able to find it when I get the system access.

Can't send emails, need help please...

Hi all,
I set up my new ipad a couple of days ago and all went well. Yesterday i synched it to my computer again and it acted like it had never seen the ipad and I had to redo everything (and lost all of my content). Everything seems to be working I just can't send emails. I have rechecked and everything has been put in correctly. Any ideas?

Thanks for answering and for the link. I tried deleting the email address and rein putting the info and I still can't send an email. I know the settings are correct because before the synch I was able to send and receive. Any other ideas please?

PAYPAL SEND PROBLEM! HELP PLEASE!

Hello there i got a problem sending money to other aka clients for somereason i got this problem in about 2 weeks, anyway i would like to know how to change the amount sending cause it takes money from my visa card and my paypal account already has money in it, so how do i change that or is it no possible an sometimes when i try to send money it won't let me for some reason any kind of answer would be great Thanks. Normally paypal will use the funds in your balance as long as they are cleared and not pending and in the correct currency for the person you are paying. If not then it will take from your other funding sources. For security reasons sometimes paypal will not take from the balance for certain types of transactions and will make your credit card the default instead. ********************************************** I give up my time to help you so a thank you or kudos would be cool.

But you can create the IF THEN by using ( ) in the forumla builder:
Reqt: IF A > B THEN B + C ELSE A
Formula: (A > B )* (B + C) + (A <= B ) * A
Each expression in the ( ) is evaluated as True or False and accordingly outputs 1 or 0.

I have create for testing SOLMAN a solution.
I have create on my satellite system a task :EWA for solution Manager.
I have a report on SOLMAN system witch is create, so all is ok at this point.
My question is: How can i send automaticly this repport to SAP ( because some solution of my sdl sould be mail at sap and other one no, so i have to setup this point).

EarlyWatch Alert for Solutions (EWAfS) provides an EWA report for a solution landscape. It will summarize information.
In your Solution Landscape design, there is only one system per Solution Landscape.
Therefore EWAfS will have less benefit for you.

the EWA report is scheduled every week in the SAP Solution Manager system for the satellite system.
As described above it's forward to SAP after first execution
- every 4 weeks
- in case of a red rating of the overall session.
Sessions forwarded to SAP are indicated by a small "SAP" icon right at the session link (tx DSMOP, Operations: Solution Monitoring -> EarlyWatch Alert).
Do you refer
- to EWAs scheduled via SolMan or
- to EWA scheduled as a session directly in SDCCN (session number contains a Z)
These session data (also know as download data) is sent to SAP and you are able
to access the generated MS Word (XML) report in SAP Support Portal.
I am not aware of other functionalities (and I am quite familar with this topic).
Sessions with GREEN, YELLOW are not sent in SAP Solution Manager to SAP every week. I have never seen this and it was not developed.
Could you explain in more detail
- how did identy forwarded sessions in the past
- what's wrong now, how do you see this.
- What's your current Support Package level

Sender change for EWA reports

On client demand, we need to change sender of the EWA reports ( currently it is being emailed from my user id ) .
We changed user name for SCOT job but we are not able to change sender.
Can you please let me know how to change sender of EWA report.

Were you able to achieve this. The SM:EXEC SERVICES job and the SCOT job are currently run by user ID: XYZ and the the EWA
is set up by the user ID XYZ.
I changed the following:
Deleted SM:EXEC SERVICES and the SCOT job and recreated them to be run by user ID ABC (the one I want to change to).
It still uses XYZ as the sender (not ABC) because as the configuration is set up by user XYZ, it is creating SM:EXEC SERVICES
on the fly to be run by user ID XYZ.
Please let me know what I am missing. What else need to be changed ? Thanks.

I have installed the SAP Content Server 6.40 on Solaris and MaxDB but my client want to configure EWA for SAP Content Server.
As per Content Server for EWA reports need to be configuring only Database and OS.
Kindly suggest me what are the steps need to be performed to setup the EWA for Content Server.
