Example of the google earth plug in LabWindows

Hello.
Anyone ever used the Google Earth plugin LabWindows as was done here in C #.  http://fraserchapman.blogspot.com/2008/08/google-earth-plug-in-and-c.html
If so, could someone give a simple example.
Thank you.
Edit : The big question is, how to load the plugin in LabWindows?

Hello jr_2005.
Thanks for your reply.
As you can see in the image below, I load plguin Google Earth.
What I really need to know is how to display this other image of the Earth. As was done in the example above site.
Sorry for not express well what I tried to say. English is not my native language.
If I can see an example of how to get this image of the earth and the location of any location will be easy to understand the concept.
My big difficulty is that I'm not very familiar with LabWindows is much less programming for MS Windows, but I have done some things, however I never used ActiveX, this is the reason for the difficulty.
Well, as I wrote in a previous post, I am aware programming microcontrollers in C language and feel comfortable with LabWindows.
Thanks again for your reply.

  • I am having trouble displaying Google Earth Plug-in

My embedded Google Earth plugin suddenly stopped working in Firefox. It's worked fine for months, still works in IE and Chrome, but suddenly it won't display in Firefox. Here is the link:

    Morbus:
You don't understand the Question!! Hence your solution has a high probability of failure. What the original post was saying is that the Google Earth Viewer Plug in, which is an embedded widget provided by Google isn't working in FF 6.3.10 either. I am having the same issues and it works fine in IE and Chrome. It was working fine for me too, but not now.
You really think if I call or email Google they will fix the problem? I really doubt it. Seems to me like they would prefer FF not to run the embedded player. I could be wrong though.
Do you still suggest that I contact Google and ask them to fix "there" code so FF can display and run the Embedded Google Earth Player? Would love to hear another solution if possible.
    Thanks

  • Google Earth Plug-In and Safari 5.1.2

    Why can't I install google earth plug-in on Safari 5.1.2 ?
I can't explore google maps in earth view mode since I updated Safari.
I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it without success.
I've also installed Google Earth but nothing has improved in google maps wich still doesn't display the earth view mode.
I install the plug-in as I always do, but now it seems to fail.
After the installation, it is like I didn't do anything.
Does anybody know anything about it?

    Try this...
    Go to ~/Library/Preferences.
Move these files to the Trash.
    com.google.GoogleEarthPlugin.plist
    com.google.GoogleEarthPlus.plist
Empty the Trash, restart your Mac, try reinstalling the software.

  • What is wrong with the Google Earth app for iPad 3?

I just got a new iPad 3rd gen, and the latest version of the Google Earth app.  But everytime it tries to composite the 3D info, like buildings and such, it crashes.  Every.  Single. Time. What's causing this problem?  Is it the app or the iPad?  I have an iPhone 4 and the app works fine.  Could use suggestions on how make this app work correctly.

The app support asks me to synch the iPad to iTunes on my iMac and then to look for a particular folder on my iMac that's supposed to store crash logs, and then to attach the logs to an email to send to them to review.  But no such folder exists.  I sent them an email anyway and told them why I couldn't get the logs.  But I also noticed all the language in the app support referred only to the iPhone app, and didn't specifically referred to the iPad app, which I know has some differences, such as the 3D imaging on the iPad.   As long as I'm not looking at a map with a large city with lots of buildings, the app works fine.  But if I try to look at DC or NYC, forget it.  The app must be using too much ram and crashing.  But I don't know how to turn off the 3D feature since it seems that's what's causing the problem.  And I'm wondering if I'm the only iPad 3 user having this issue.  Like I said, the iPhone app I have works fine, but it doesn't seem to have the same 3D feature.  I really like Google Earth and use it frequently on my Macs and iPhone, but it not working on my brand new retina display iPad 3 is frustrating.  I hope I can get this corrected.

  • Why won't the Google Earth plugin work?

The Google Earth plugin won't load on Firefox (v 17). I have Windows XP Service Pack 3.

In the plugins page it is called Google Earth Plugin 6.2.0.5788. The website for it is [http://www.google.com/earth/explore/products/plugin.html http://www.google.com/earth/explore/products/plugin.html]. I have a custom Webkit browser I made that runs it just fine.

  • Google Earth plug in is not recognized by Firefox (works in Safari and Chrome)

For some reason Google Earth has stopped working in Firefox, and I get a note that I have to download the plug in. (It works fine in Chrome and Safari.)
I followed the 'solution' in the forum without any success.
When I search for "Google Earth Browser plugin" in Finder, I find SEVEN matching that search under "Kind" in Macintosh HD/Library/Internet Plugins . . .but that "Kind" is associated with plugins that are "Named" something else - e.g., Adobe, DivX, Flash, Flip4Mac, etc. (Weird).

I too had this issue, solved by updating Java to 7u25 and reinstalling Google Earth.
    1. Search the web using "java se download", select "Java SE Downloads - Oracle" which took me to "http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html" I wish to thank the company "Secunia" for directing me the Oracle page.
    2. Search the web using "google earth plugin reinstall" to reinstall, which took me to "http://www.google.com/earth/plugin/error.html" where there is a message and a link to the reinstall.
I retraced my steps, going back to the "http://www.google.com/earth/plugin/error.html" and still gives me the "error"; not to worry, look at your plugins and google earth plugin 7.1.1.1871 is up-to-date.
Re-posted from "Plugin check 'Update Now' link redirects to itself" with updated info.

  • When trying to update Google Earth Plug in, the screen flickers but nothing happens.

All that happens is the screen flickers but the Update does not download. Repeated clicks on the "Download Update" simply repeats the action.

According to Google, I already have the Plug-in!!
    Plug-in updater is wrong????

  • Can I safely install the google earth plugin?

I have os x 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and Safari 5.1.7  I have heard that some people have had problems in the past. If there is any kind of significant risk, I just won't do it.

We were wondering the same thing in another thread this week, so please let us know if you manage it.
BTW  That was an excellent ploy with the subject line.  The [more inside] bit had me eager to click through to the next exciting installment of your problem. Do you use Photoshop to illustrate the thrillers you write?

  • Google Earth only shows black screen with yellow lines on Lion 10.7

Hi, I am having trouble with running the Google Earth plug in my browser. Everytime I switch to "earth" mode, all I see is a black screen and yellow lines. I was able to rectify the issue in Google Earth itself by turning off Atmosphere but I can't do that in my browser and I use a website that utilizes Google Earth within a browser, so I'd really like to figure this out. I'm running Lion 10.7 on a X1600 128 MB dedicated graphics card. Maybe the graphics card is not good enough? Although I would have thought it could handle Google Earth.... Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi thanks for all the concern and replies. I've tried all that.
I had just got it back from the shop last Friday. It was there for around two weeks. It was a faulty GPU (when you see garbled display that's consisten when booting it the GPU). I have a strong feeling it's related to the Lion install 10.7 or 10.7.1 and may be similar to reports of Mac laptops overheating. It's good the GPU is removable, it might have taken 3 week or a month if it had been the whole board.
It's a blessing in disguise though as with all or most cases because I also got to have the LCD replaced for excessive backlight bleeding (in my opinion), the dead pixel from the previous LCD isn't there anymore (though under the glass there're some smudges but nothing crucial). The backlight bleeding is still the same though in my opinion but at least it's new.
It's a great thing I bought Applecare. I didn't buy it for the iPhone because that's more durable (my iPhone 3G's 3 years old now and it's still solid. Although there are scratches and a crack at the back at the bottom, got sqeezed under the table I think when I sat). I think Applecare is a good recommend for things that get hot like desktop and laptop Macs(are the iOS considered Macs btw?) which are twice or thrice the price of iOS devices.

  • Google earth 3d plug in

I want to view a 3d fly over map of a golf course at golffrontier.com When I click on it a window comes up saying I need to download the google earth 3d plug in to be able to view the video. Does that plug in cause any problems on the mac computer? My mac processor is 2.7 GHz Int Core i5 with 8 GB 1333 MHzDDR 3. I am running Safari 6.0.4 with Lion 10.7.5. Thank you.

No, you should have no troubles. Just go to:
    http://earth.google.com
to download the installer and the plug-in. One test site (after you've installed the plug-in) is:

  • Installed Google Earth on iPad2 but where is the icon?

I'm trying out an iPad2 at work (and buying my own soon ). I've installed the Google Earth app but cannot find how to add a desktop icon for it. I've rebooting the iPad but still no luck. The app works fine as Google Earth is launched automatically when I download a KML file from my web site.
Any help would be appreciated!  TIA.
Note .. The OS is reported as 4.3.5 (8L1) in General > About > Version

Did you look on all of the screens? It may have gotten installed on one you weren't expecting. Does it show up when you do a Spotlight search?

  • Google Earth using different Language with the System

I have installed the Google earth 4.2 into my 10.5.
Since my system language is English, however, I would like to set my google earth as Traditional Chinese in Language individually.
    How could I do that.
    Thanks a lot.

Since my system language is English, however, I would like to set my google earth as Traditional Chinese in Language individually. How could I do that.
In general the way you do this is to click once on the icon for the app, do File > Get Info, open the Languages tab, and uncheck all you do not want. My Google Earth 4.2 does not offer Chinese as an option. If yours is the same, you have to ask Google whether one exists.
