Hi all,
I just downloaded Oracle Workbench Migration specially for MySQL 5. omwb_mysql5_beta.zip
I tried to Capture Source Database from my localhost mysql server.
I created a dummy database with a single table and a column.
However during capturing i encounter this error Capturing Exception [pol 4005]
null class object is not allowed.
Later on when i expand the source model, i get a series of errors. Failed to get primary keys...Failed to get foreign keys.
I went to check the error log.
I found this:
EXCEPTION : MySQLSourceModelMap.mapUserSystemPrivileges(): [POL-5228] syntax error
Can anyone enlighten me what could go wrong?

This is a known bug. It will be fixed soon, current work around is that you don't use the default repository that comes with the OMWB. Try to connect to a existing Oracle db for repository. We'll also notify you here when the bug is fixed.

We have a daily process that converts MS Access 97 to Oracle using Migration Workbench. This has been working fine until we got the following error from the error.log file:

Instead of using the default repository, I tried to log-in to a database on the local NT machine to recreate a new repository. Everything went fine afterwards.
We're all set for now but it would be nice to find out what happened to the default repository. Thank you. -

Getting this error trying to access both the ESB and BPEL datasources in SOA Suite 10.1.3 GA.
Any ideas how to fix?I am also getting same error message when I am trying to establish a olite connection. Moreover I got this error when I opened BPEL console :

How to restart the web-to-go server?
When we are trying to show the reports in mobile client it is throwing this error.
Actually, we are using JSP files for reports.
When i start the web-to-go server, it is giving like this:

Just check the SQL on the JSP and make sure it runs in MSQL. outside of webtogo. To help you with the syntax error, run the SQL against your online Oracle Enterprise system for the exact detail. Oracle Lite doesn't specify exactly what the problem with the SQL statement is. -
Error while creating a simple function, procedure or triger in Oracle8i Lite

While creating a simple proceudre/function/trigger on the database, it's throwing the following error:

nullI just started with 8i Lite, but as far as I know 8i Lite does not support PL/SQL code.
So you have to write your triggers and stored procedures in Java.

Error while deleting instances and Human Tasks arent deleted

sql statement: DELETE FROM wi_fault WHERE domain_ref = ?
When I query tasks over a jsp i also get the uncompleted human tasks from the deleted instances ( the try to delete them, i think they are there, but in the BPEL Console i cant see them anymore).
The Error occured since i patched my oracle soa suite 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.3.
What can I do?

My best RegardsI think you didn't ran the upgrade-script when you've installed the patchset 10.1.3.3 to your bpel environment.
Check the readme file of the patchset and you will see in the post-installation tasks you need to run the upgrade-script to patch your database environment as well.

NancyBy default the BPEL 10.1.2, it will do a local call to the process. It will not execute a SOAP request, no network access is done.
It can be configured at domain level:
Parameter: optSoapShortcut (SOAP local optimization)
Turns on "short-cut" for local SOAP request; local SOAP calls are normally done via an internal call instead of sending a message through the SOAP stack.
The default behavior for the engine is to optimize all. To disable optimization specify a value other than "true" or "yes". -
Error message in BPEL console when purging instances

I get an error message in the BPEL console when I Purge All Instances. The problem arised when i patched SOA suite to version 10.1.3.3. (On 10.1.3.1 i beleive this worked.)

As this was on Windows with Oracle Lite, I did like below to fix the issue. Unfortunately I seem to have more issues with the BPEL database so I'm going to try to find a way to reinitialize it from scratch.

Problem in connectivity with database
Hi anyone,
I have installed Oracle-8i database and Developer-6i in Windows-95. I am facing the following problem in connectivity:
In the connection dialogue box, I enter user/passwd as scott/tiger and host string as odbc:polite. I am getting an error message "OCA-30002 ubofscr function not supported".
In schema builder, table1 is the default name of a new table created. On renaming the table name, I am getting the error message:
"OBE-15467: Name already in use. Please choose another name"
whereas no such table name exists in the database.
If table1 is accepted as the new table name, I am encountering another error message:
"OBE-15361: Error in creating primary/unique constraint for table1. [POL-5228] message file is not loaded".Please use CODE tags when posting code. You are losing some of the plus signs of string concatenation to the forum's formatting beast.
Preferred solution: Don't use Access as a database. The JDBC-ODBC bridge is always troublesome.

Well the message is easy enough to understand: it can't find the database db1.mdb.
You say you put db1.mdb in the web directory. Obviously the computer is not looking there (silly computer for not looking where you put the file)
So it is up to you to be smart and tell the computer exactly where to go.
Using application.getRealPath("/db1.mdb") in place of "db1.mdb" will probably work in a JSP.

I want to create a trigger using a java stored procedure.
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE test(tableName in VARCHAR2, tableID in VARCHAR2, ID int) AS LANGUAGE JAVA NAME 'DBTrigger.setReplicationFlag(java.sql.Connection, java.lang.String, java.lang.String, int)';
The tableName, tableID parameters are used to built the select statement in the Java Class, for the reason thet i don't want to write a class for every table. I just want to create the triggers based on one Class and one Stored Procedure.
Testing the Stored Procedure with:
select test('TESTMASTER','MASTER_ID',8) from dual; everything is OK
but when I try to create a trigger with:
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER Trigg AFTER INSERT OR UPDATE OF FLOAT_COLUMN ON Testmaster FOR EACH ROW test('TESTMASTER','MASTER_ID', NEW.MASTER_ID);
I get the error message:
[POL-5228] Syntaxfehler

Triggers and stored procedures are indeed supported by Oracle 8iLite. You should consult the Oracle 8iLite Java Developers Guide chapter 2. Triggers and Stored Procedures.

As far I know, SQL Statements, metadata, user names, etc... in fact every string that is not binded or defined can only be ANSI or UTF16. -

You can write simple select statement in VO query without any where clause like this:
SELECT po_header_id PoHeaderId,LISTAGG(po_line_id,',') WITHIN GROUP (ORDER BY po_header_id) PoLineIds FROM xxpo_dropship_documents_v
and then set where clause using vo.setWhereClause("<condition>");
after this, use vo.setWhereClauseParam() to set the parameters values.

Created a BPEL process (10.1.2.0.0) to access a stored procedure in a 10gR1 database and using the emp table. The PartnerLink references the stored procedure which takes a number (empno) and is to return the ename and sal corresponding to the empno.
Stored procedure works as run from a SQL prompt. When invoke the the PartnerLink using an empno after about a minute delay get the following error message.

Connection problems with the Olite database
Hi,
I have a problem when I want to execute a BPEL Process from the process manager. I get a java.sql.SQLException with the following message "[POL-3207] a corrupted data page was detected".
The fact is that another person (with his own account) installed the SOA Suite and executed the same code before and it worked. But when I connected to the computer remotely using my account and tried to execute the BPEL Process this error appeared. Since then even the former user has the same error message. Is there a way to solve this problem or do I have to reinstall the SOA Suite? Is there a problem using the SOA Suite with different windows accounts?
When I also try to see the instances after executing the process, I get the following error:

You restart your Olite database. You can do one thing.
Goto control panel->Administrative tools->services-> Stop & start Olite multiuser service.
Then try to run the polsql.cmd command.
