Exchange calendar not in calendar list on PRE

So after 3 weeks of working on getting exchange set-up I finally did it.  Contacts and Email work great but the Calendar shows up in my account list but when I go through my calendar's via the drop down menu at the top right in the calendar view, my exchange calendar does not show up.  Events that I set-up on my computer show as blocked out time on my PRE but I am unable to access the event.  The exchange calendar is not in the list of available calendars to make a default calendar and I'm also unable to create new events to the exchange calendar.  It does not even show up as an available calendar in the list.
Someone please help.

I seem to be having the same or a similar problem.  Exchange does not show up in the drop down on the default calendar list or in the drop down where it normally says "All" on the main calendar page.  Exchange is properly setup and I even get notifications for my exchange appointments, but I also have issues viewing those appointments.  I'm not sure if the issue in this thread has these issues too:
* The appointments are not displayed in the calendar on my Pre
* The Pre calendar will look like it is trying to find the appointments for the day I am viewing and never finishes (i.e. it will gray out like it does when you first switch the dat, but it never recovers!).  At this point, I can't even swipe left or right to move day to day.
I followed the advice of some other threads, and tested moving all my appointments into a backup calendar that wouldn't be sync'ed into the calendar on my Pre.  When I do this, I don't have that "grayed out" problem, but obviously I don't have any appointments from Exchange to look at.  Once I add one appointment back into my calendar from Outlook on my PC, sync my Pre calendar, and exit and re-open the calendar, the Pre gets back into that grayed out state and doesn't display the appointment.
Any advice for this one?  (This is on OS 1.1.0)

  • ICal - iPhone sync. Local calendar not showing up in iTunes list of available calendars, only Exchange calendars.

iTunes only shows Exchange-calendars in the list where you can choose which calendars (we're talking about "calendars", not "accounts") you want to synchronize. If I add a local calendar in iCal, I can not choose it to synchronize with my iPhone. It simply doesn't show up in the list of available calendars. How does iTunes compile this list of available Calendars to synchronize?

    Hi Zachary,
Here is an article I'd suggest to troubleshoot this situation:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538
You may only need to go through the steps with one device and have it resolve for the others.

  • Exchange Calendar Not Auto-Fetching

I'm not sure when this started happening (fairly recently I think), but my iPhone 3GS (OS 3.1) has stopped automatically fetching updated calendar info from my company Exchange server (Exchange 2007). When I open the Calendar app on the iPhone, it syncs with the Exchange server correctly, but it refuses to do it automatically in the background. I have my Exchange settings on the iPhone set up to Fetch every 15 minutes rather than Push, and it is in fact retrieving my email on this schedule. It's only my calendar entries that aren't being auto-updated. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried toggling calendar sync as well as deleting and recreating the Exchange account on my iPhone to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

  • ICal not showing calendar list, crashing frequently

I just upgraded from Snow Leopard to 10.7.2 a few days ago and I've found iCal to be extremely buggy.  In addition to frequent crashes, I am unable to see my calendars in the Calendars list.  Here's what I get when I click on it:

  • Mail for Exchange outlook not syncing all calendar...

    Hi,
Nokia E6 Anna using mail for exchange to sync outlook.com/hotmail calendar. Recently switched phone so would like my entire outlook.com calendar to appear on E6.
I added mail for exchange hotmail account to phone selecting email, calendar and contacts. However only recurring calendar entries sync. Old single appointments do not sync/appear on the E6. Why is that ?
Are there any specific calendar settings for mail for exchange ? Mail for exchange/settings has no mention of calendar.
I use hotmail connector to sync desktop outlook 2010 and outlook.com. Syncing calendar in nokia suite results in duplicate 'Mail for Exchange' calendars so no good.
If known issue that's OK. A solution would be good.
    thanks,

    I have solved this myself.

  • Calendar not supporting exchange account

Recently upgraded to Yosemite.  Gmail, iCloud and MSN all work like champs.  However my work calendar (exchange) is not being recognized at all.  Keeps asking for a password and shows the following message:
Calendar can't connect to the account "XXX Exchange Email"
    Enter the password for "XXXXXXX".
I have been down for several days and tried all the fixes in the community forum.  No luck.  Hoping for some help, plz.
    Thanks

Well i guess after reading through everything i got in a state and figured it out:
Turn off Airport and disconnect from internet completely
    Quit all applications
    Restart Computer
Go to this folder: "/System/Library/Address Book Plug-Ins/"
You will see this folder: "Exchange.sourcebundle"
Copy this folder and paste it somewhere else
    Delete this folder
Open Address Book: Your Exchange Account will be completely gone
    Quit Address Book
Paste the folder back into the original location: Move "Exchange.sourcebundle" back into "/System/Library/Address Book Plug-Ins/"
    Open Address Book
You will see your exchange account there but it is no longer trying to sync
    Open Preferences
    Delete the Exchange Account
It will actually delete now and not freeze up Address Book
    Hallelujah!
But...my Address Book is still just as slow.
*So my new question: how do i make my address book app more responsive to when i am typing information into the "Notes" section?*

i am trying to delete a calendar that i do not want on my iPhone. i never subscribed to this mysterious calendar. now it's listed as a Mexican holidays calendar when last week it was a HK holidays calendar. this recently appeared after the last iOS update. the only options to edit this calendar are to uncheck it and/or to change the color. i want it permanently deleted.  any ideas?

That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. Safebooting disables Launch Agents/Daemon and Third Party Kernal extensions. Here's the article to Safeboot OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? - Apple Support

  • Why does Calendar not go back to all entries in list mode after upgrading to iOS 6?

Why does Calendar not go back to all entries in list mode after upgrading to iOS6?

I have an iPhone 5 running at iOS7.1.1. The Calendar list mode previous to iOS 6 showed all past entries, which I found very useful. After the upgrade, it only showed the previous 12 months (as I recall). All past entries are still present, you just have to exit list mode to see them. I'm asking this now after finding the forum for the answer to rediscover the list function in iOS 7.

  • Exchange and iPhone Calendars not separated

My iPhone 3GS is sync with the Exchange Calendar of my company. I can see the exchange and local iPhone calendar, but they are both labeled "Calendar" with color code next to each.
For some reason, my wife iPhone is on the same version and model as mine - 3.1.3 / MC132ZP, and she also sych with the same Exchange server, but her calendar list is sub-labeled into "Calendar" and My Exchange "Calendar". I prefer the way her Calendars are grouped and labeled as it is much clearer. This kinds of bother me. Even there is color code next to the Calendar list on my iPhone, but just wondering how I can get mine behave the same as my wife's phone.
    Thank you for your help.

Are you using iCloud? Go to Settings/Mail, Contacts.... and try turning off Contacts on one device and then turning it back on.

Too much unformatted code to even try and understand.
Is this a Java/JSP question or javascript issue?
Is there an error message loading the page?
Are there any javascript notifications (check the alert bottom left of IE browser)
When does the error occur? Loading the page? Pushing the button?
    My suggestion would be to
    - view source on the generated HTML. See if the html is valid, and correct.
    - change the onclick event of the button to pop up an "alert" so you can see it is actually getting to the button press. Then put alerts through the code you are calling to see if it is actually getting there.

  • Office 365 calendars not showing

I'm running Version 8.0 (2032.6.1) of iCal on Yosemite. My main calendar is hosted on Office 365.
There was a problem with duplicated entries in the calendar, which actually meant that iCal would crash on startup. I fixed that by deleting the duplicates with temporary access to the Windows version of Outlook. As part of trying to get iCal to work again, after the repair of the calendar, I removed the various caches and .plist files, as recommended on various sites. Now, I'm in a slightly strange state in that the Exchange (Office 365) account isn't listed in the iCal list of accounts, and entries for that calendar are not showing, it is still in some way connected, because the application icon shows the number of outstanding entries.
What is the best way of restoring visibility of the Office 365 calendar in iCal?
I've tried deleting and re-adding this account, but it hasn't helped.

Hi All, after much trial and tribulation, this works for me on BusyCal. It is an app you can get on the apple store.
Calendar should be created then shared with the busycal user. The link does not work, but add exchange account as you would on  Mac Calendar under preference>accounts. The go to the sharing tab and  click plus and type in email of person who shared calendar. It will auto populate. For some reason it does not work under delegation in Mac Calendar
The  key and where I spent 4 days on the phone with apple and office 365, is  that the owner of the calendar has to share their calendar, named  :"calendar" They can just click the permission "show availability only."  Once they do that, any other calendars they have created and added you  as full permissions or details, you can see. I see nothing on their  calendar called "calendar"  Not the perfect solution, but it works. BusyCal is $30
If this does not make sense feel free  to message me or I will respond here.
