we provided access to Hygiene Management to some members and they not able to access EOP site.
This is standalone EOP.

1. Do I need to have ADFS,DirSync server ready on my local datacenter to synchronize user with EOP?

If your deployment is not hybrid then you won;t need Dirsync.

Bulk User creation Exchange Online Protection standalone

Hi,
We have on premise Exchange 2013 servers and we're planned to go for EOP only for SPAM filtering. I have couple of questions with EOP:
When we create bulk user accounts from a CSV file do we need to Allow users to sign in to EOP?
what will be the EOP address for On-Premise send connector(send emails from the organization)? and how to get it?
is there any proper step by step guide to setup EOP standalone?

future there will be a personal
quarantine for users.
set the value to the MX record given to you during EOP setup, such as <your organization>-com.mail.protection.outlook.com.

Permissions are not working after HTTP redirect configured.

I have configured HTTP redirect in IIS Manager from root site to sub site. The users have to be redirect from roo tsite to
sub site
I have full rights for root site, but when I get to sub site I can only see documents, but all options are grey out. So I have limited access.

For your question, you could check the account in the top right corner beside site setting icon.
As I tested, I configured HTTP redirect via IIS manager as the screenshot below.
http://sp:19073 is the url of root site, and subsite's url is
http://sp:19073/subsite/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/SitePages/Home.aspx .
Let me know if you are using a different approach to configure HTTP redirect.

Some Brushes are not working as expected

I did Reset All Tools from the Tools Presets panel and Reset Brushes on Brushes Preset panel.
But I still have the same problem. E.g. brushes from the "M Brushes" palette like crosshatch gesture and crosshatch don't have the look that they should according to the sampled strokes. Below is a sample of each brush from the palette together with the real strokes in my PS.
How to fix it?

Are you picking the brush from the Brush Tip Shape panel in the Brush panel or from the Tool Options bar or from the Brush Presets panel?

Lenovo Notebook Essential B570e2 some keys are not working

hi can you please help me? I have a Lenovo Notebook Essential B570e2 and its driving me crazy. it has got a bunch of problems but right now the most important problem is that some keys of the keyboard are not working. so im writing this all using on-screen keyboard, its very frustrating and annoying. the keyboard just started messing up all in a sudden a few hours ago. i dont think its because of dirt beneath the keys because yesterday i was watching a video online and typing on the keyboard at the same time. and the sound of the video would extend/freeze some times when i was pressing a key. not sure how to describe it. can someone please help me? thank you!

I’m sorry to hear that the Keyboard keys are not working as expected in your B570 Laptop, below are the steps to check the issue in the computer:
Remove the battery and any other peripheral device connected to the computer. Hold the power button for 10 seconds and then connect only the AC Adapter and try to turn ON the computer.
Check if the issue is same in “Safe Mode” – Restart the computer keep tapping “F8” key before the Lenovo Logo appears and select “Safe Mode”.
Also check if any external Keyboard is working as expected with the Laptop if it is working fine, the issue is Hardware related, I would Strongly Suggest Calling Technical Support for Assistance as the issue may be hardware related. Click here to open a link where you can select the country and get the exact contact support number. I’m sure they will be a great help.

Keyboard keys are not working

Im on mac OS X 10.6.8 several keyboard keys are not working. For instance the at symbol is not working or question mark and random other punctuation keys. The problem started after running some code from terminal to trun off mouse acceleration and then installing a plug-in to control more accurately the mouse funtions. Ive since uninstalled the plug in and disabled the adjustment in terminal. Ive checked all the normal keyboard funcions to make sure settings were not funky. When I log out and log in as a differnt user the problem with the keyboard is fixed. Someone please help

Some keys don't work as expected
From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Speech.
Click the Text to Speech tab.
If "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" is enabled, the key or key combination set to speak text cannot be used for other purposes or used to type text--click Set Key and change it to a less-commonly used key combination (try to use modifier keys such as Shift, Command, Option, and Control). Or, disable the "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" option.
Click the Universal Access pane in System Preferences, click the Keyboard tab.
Make sure that Slow Keys is turned off. With Slow Keys on, you need to press a key for a longer period of time for it to be recognized.
In the Universal Access pane, click the Mouse tab, and make sure Mouse Keys is turned off. With Mouse Keys enabled, you cannot use the Numeric Keypad to enter numbers--instead the keypad moves the pointer (cursor). (There is an option to enable Mouse Keys with five presses of the Option key; you may want to turn that option off to avoid accidentally enabling it.) If Mouse Keys is enabled and you are using a keyboard with no numeric keypad or Num Lock function, see Unable to type while Mouse Keys is enabled in Mac OS X.
If the function keys on the top row of the keyboard are not working as expected, see Mac OS X: How to change the behavior of function keys.
If the issue persists, use Keyboard Viewer to help isolate the issue:

Events in SubVi not working as expected

Hi, I am reposting this question as my previous one didn't resulted in any satisfactory conclusion.
I have attached my Vi's which are not working as expected. If I remove ONE subVi and its associated 3 controls and two indicators, the other one works just fine, but when I add two SUB Vis, it goes messy. I am trying to learn this way, I am sure it can be done many other ways, but please help me finding out the problem doing it this way as in my final MainVi, I would like to use 8 such sub Vis. Thanks.

Your main problem is DATA FLOW. A loop cannot iterate until EVERYTHING in it has completed. So, as you have it, you have to have both event structures execture before you can go back to look for the next event. So if you insist on having these subVIs, they need to be in seperate loops.
BTW, you can get away with a single subVI. Go into the VI properties and make it reentrant (preallocated clone). Then each call of your subVI will have its own memory space. A lot easier to maintain that way.
And I know you said you didn't want alternatives, but here's how you can do it all with a single event structure in your main loop.

Keyboard not working as expected

I woke up this morning and suddenly found a few problems with my keyboard:
The caps lock light is reversed so that the caps is off when the light is on and vice versa
The placement of some of the symbols are moved around. The @ is to the right of the P button and Shift-2 produces a ". Shift-9 is ), shift-8 is ( and many other switched like this.
Resetting PRAM or the computer doesnt fix this

Online audio and video files are not working

i got a plugin for shockwave flash(adobe flash player) i thought it is the latest version so i downloaded it and installed it. Before installing the new flash player i was able hear song online and can watch videos but now both audio and videos are not working.

Configure send connector for exchange online protection

Hello Forum members,
I am trying to configure send and receive connectors for Exchange 2010 to route
on-premises mailboxes to Exchange OnLine Protection. The "help" info MS provides
is for Ex 2013 - and the EAC GUI and config does not lend a close fit to using the 2010
Exch Management Console. How can I configure connectors to properly connect to the Exchange Online Protection?
I have seen where the ip addresses are posted, etc. I am unclear how to configure the properties on the SBS 2011/EX 2010 server.
Any tips will help,

You cannot use AD anything with EOP - if you mean exchange on-line protection.
you have to set a smart host on the SBS server to connect to EOP, you may need to add the EOP server ips to your network config
on the SBS server. the smart host line (for the send connector on SBS server) is something like: yourdomainname-com.mail.protection.outlook.com.
Then you need to configure the outside ip for your SBS server access in the EOP admin area.

I've moved MX records to EOP and seems to be fine all domain expect few.<o:p></o:p>
I can see that problematic domain has "-" between domain names.<o:p></o:p>

SharePoint Online content effective permissions DO NOT match check permissions

I have a document list in the main site. The contents are sensitive so inheritance has been broken.
Access to the list is via two AD groups: ADGroupEdit and ADGroupRead
The list contains several documents. I have selected a document and gone to the advanced view of permissions
This correctly shows the permissions:
ADGroupRead Domain Group Read
ADGroupEdit Domain Group Edit
UserA is a member of ADGroupRead and UserB is a member of ADGroupEdit. UserA and UserB are members of only one AD group.
From the same view, I can click 'check permissions'. Both UserA and UserB show the correct permissions via the correct group.
However, when UserA attempts to access the content via OneNote (either the App or Online) they only see some of the files, and the level of access varies between Read and Edit. I have checked the individual file permissions which are set to inherit and display
the correct permissions.
The problem appears to be that permissions are not been interpreted correctly when listing files.
Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Whether you are using Claims authentication.
The claims based token is refreshed every 10 hours and hence if you make any changes to Active directory group memberships it won't reflect immediately in the token. you need to run the following powershell command to adjust the token life time to a smaller
value.
$sts = Get-SPSecurityTokenServiceConfig
$sts.WindowsTokenLifetime = (New-TimeSpan –minutes 60)
$sts.FormsTokenLifetime = (New-TimeSpan -minutes 60)
$sts.Update()
