Exchange rate EURX not calculate exchange rates between USD and GBP
We have set ExRt as following:
Exrt Usage Ref. crcy
EURX EMU EUR
we have "EMU" flag checked also.
We are maintaining exchange rates (EURX) for EUR with all others currencies.
We expected that, if we have a CoCode set in GBP and we post a document in USD, SAP will calculate GBP <->USD from exchange rates EURX(USD/EUR) and EURX(GBP/EUR). It seems to be incorrect because the system is ignoring EURX exchange rates and using "M" GBP-USD exchange rate and this was not expected by us.
Could you please tell me if it is correct to expect SAP calculates USD-GBP Exchange rates from EURX(USD/GBP) Exrate or I am wrong and I need to maintain "M" exchange rates for USD-GBP.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Please check the following settings :
Go to IMG --> General Settings ---> Currencies ---> Check Exchange Rate types
Select the Exchange Rate Euro and check mark the EMU check box . Save it

Sometimes, while playing back my software instrument songs, I get an intermittent pop-up error message, saying "Error while trying to synchronize audio and MIDI. Sample rate 42804 recognized. Check conflict between Garageband and external device."
(Sometimes the five digit number is different, but remains a five-digit number beginning with "4".)
Simultaneously, the song stops until I press the "Okay" button in the pop-up window.
When I continue to play the song, the sound is jerky and clipped, and the playhead doesn't keep up with the song, and then suddenly jumps to the part of the song currently being played.
There's also a sound of static.
The issue seems to occur whether or not I have my MIDI controller turned on and plugged into my desktop Imac.
TonyHello,
open your Audio MIDI Setup utility and set the input to 44100

My iPad 2 does not say software update between about and usage in general setting anyone know why this any help welcome thanks
Keith. Look in settings, general, about. About halfway down the screen is an entry labeled version. If it is anything lower than 5.0, then you wil not get wireless updates. You need to plug your pad into your computer that you set it up with which is running the current version of I tunes to get the update.
When you plug it in to i tunes, be sure to do a backup. Also, the machine will ask if you want to transfer purchases. Tell it yes. This saves your content and purchased apps and music to your iTunes on the computer. When you do the software update, it will then reload that material onto your pad.
If you have taken any pictures on your pad, be sure to upload those to I photo, or whatever photo library you are using so that they are not lost when you do the upgrade.
Once you get to the current version, any future software updates can be done over the air, not requiring you to use the computer. That feature was enabled with version 5. But it is a good idea to do backup and syncs with your computer from time to time. -
Wht is the differenne between USD and USN currecy?
hi all,
can anybody tell me the differenne between USD and USN currecy?
BR,
ManishUsing google and wikipedia, you are able to find an answer yourself like
USD for general, unspecified purposes; USN for United States dollar next-day funds, and USS for funds which are immediately available for Federal Reserve transfer, withdrawal in cash or transfer in like funds (same-day funds). -
Calculate the days between today and specific day.
I'm trying to calculate the number days between Today and some specific date in the future using SharPoint Designer (XSL). This is what I'm using:
<xsl:value-of select="number(ddwrt:DateTimeTick(ddwrt:GenDisplayName(string(@Due_Date))))- number(ddwrt:DateTimeTick(ddwrt:GenDisplayName(string($Today))))" />
e.g. 23 days >>>> 634948416000000000 ticks
This works perfectly while I'm in SPDesigner itself, but once I try to see it in the browser it shows the number of days in "Tick Numbers". Is there a way I can fix this? I've been looking all over the internet and I haven't found any really good answer.
thanks! Thanks for the quick response Marc.
I've no experience of using momentsJs with SharePoint lists and I need to be able to get this up and running pretty quickly. I guess you need some coding experience to use it?
I'm thinking that there should be a way to do this in SPD with something similar to this from another site, but with the conditions placed on the source field (Planned end Date) instead of the current date.

Calculate the variance between quarters and store it in a scenario
Hi,
Can anyone suggets how I can write a rule to calculate the variances between quarters, Qtr1 vs Qtr2, Qtr2 vs Qtr3 etc, and store them in a scenario so that I dont calculatethem on a report ?
Thanks,
IKHi. Why don't you want to do this on the report - it's much easier and you can get favorable/unfavorable comparisons? But, if you want to do the rule, here's the approach.
Create the scenario with QTD as the frequency so you don't have monthly periods
Limit the rule to run just for the scenario and don't run any other rules for the scenario
Use a select case to determine which period (Q1, etc.) is being calc'd to populate variables that contain the source period and year (for going back a year to Q4).
Write the rule to compare data from current quarter in the real scenario to the prior quarter in the real scenario. Something like HS.Exp "A#ALL = A#ALL.S#Actual.P#Jun.W#QTD - A#ALL.S#Actual.P#Mar.W#QTD. But, you may want to adjust this to calculate a favorable/unfavorable variance on the revenue/expense accounts, so you'd need to loop through the accounts and look at the account type.
You'd want to rerun the rule at all value members for both base entities and parent entities. May need to clear all existing data (HS.Clear "A#ALL") in the scenario/year/period/entity/value first.
Do a consolidate all on the scenario to pull the data across and do the math
Have fun, but you really should still with doing the comparison in the reports.

How to calculate the difference between intdate and getdate
Hi,
My requirement is to get the data for all the claims where the difference between transactiondate and getdate() should be less than or equal to 7 which means any claims that happened in the past week.
So, my query would be something like this
select * from claims
where transactiondate-getdate < 8
But my transactiondate is in int format such as 20150331 and getdate would be in the format of 2015-03-31. Can someone please help me on how can i achieve the difference between these 2 date formats in the where clause.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if i am unclear.
ThanksHi SqlDev12,
Please find the below condition in your query, hope it would help you
DATEDIFF(DD,CAST(CAST(TransactionDate
AS
VARCHAR)
AS
DATETIME),GETDATE())
< 8
Thanks & Regards,

To Pro-Rate or not to Pro-Rate
Apple has given me two options for my replacement MBP.
Since I still have 2/3rds left of my Apple Care Warranty, they would pro-rate and refund it. Then I would buy a new one at regular price (but at a sort of discount considering the other was refunded.)
They also will simply transfer the old one over as if i never got a new computer.
The problem is apple said they can't tell me how much money I'd get back from the old plan until I actually cancel (includes $25 cancelation fee)
I think the extra year might be nice (get me through 4 years of school then) but at the same time I don't want to do t if its to pricy.
What do you guys think?Isn't applecare a set price thing only available from Apple stores/apple stores online?
Nope. While you can't obviously haggle with the online Store, physical stores and Apple Store phone agents can play to a certain degree with pricing when it comes to price matching. Asking for a discount on its own will get you a big fat no.
Anyone who can sell a Mac can sell AppleCare so it does pay to shop around. While margins on AppleCare for retailers aren't anywhere near as good as they once were (around 50%) there's still room to move. -

Not all ibooks syncing between ipad and iphone
I am trying to sync about 1500 ibooks from my ipad mini to my iphone 6 but it will only sync about 1400. I transferred all purchases from my mini to itunes and then synced my iphone but certain ibooks will appear then disappear or will only open to a blank white screen then disappear. Not sure what happen or how to fix this. All started happening after ios8.
On your phone go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contact section). If you have this setting, make be sure you have selected iCloud as your default account and not something else like On My iPhone, Google, Yahoo, an Exchange account, etc. If iCloud is not selected, make this change then add a new test contact and see if it appears in your contacts on icloud.com and your other devices now.
If you don't have the Default Account setting, or if it is set to iCloud but new contacts added to your phone still aren't appearing on icloud.com, add any missing contacts from your phone to your contacts on icloud.com. Once the contacts on icloud.com are up to date, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then after a few seconds turn Calendars back on. Then add a new test contact on your phone and see if it appears on your calendar on icloud.com and your other devices now. -
Notes won't sync between MacBook and iPhone/iPad
I have my MacBook, iPhone (5S), and iPad (Air) all set up to use the same iCloud account but some of the notes won't stay in sync between the MacBook and IOS devices. Both of the IOS devices stay in sync with each other, but changes I add on the IOS devices doesn't sync to the MacBook and changes on the MacBook don't sync to the IOS devices. Any ideas? I am a new Mac user and can't figure this out. I have read many of the related forums and the answer is almost always "they won't sync if the notes aren't in the iCloud folder" but that isn't my problem. The notes are in the iCloud folder but still won't sync.
Any ideas?!Back up any notes on your Mac that have not been synced to your other devices by opening each note clicking that arrow icon on the bottom right, choosing email this note, then email it to yourself. When you're done, go to System Preferences>iCloud on your Mac, uncheck Notes, restart your Mac, then go back and check Notes again. Then add a new test note on your Mac and confim that it syncs to iCloud now. If so, recreate any missing notes by copying and pasting the text from the emails you sent earlier into new notes created in the iCloud account.

Playcount and other Stats Not Sync'ing up between ITunes and Nano
Anyone know why the playcount and other stats won't sync up between an Ipod Nano and ITunes?
I am trying to get my wife's ipod set up on our shared computer. Using Windows XP, I've created seperate user accounts with seperate libraries both using the latest version of ITunes and things have worked great so far. Songs have transferred, audible works. Yet for some reason the playcount info isn't updating and it is one of the things she really wants to work.
Any thoughts?
PC Windows XP 2 IPods 1 Computer using the seperate user profiles trick. If you are using manual updating rather than one of the automatic updating preferences, playcounts are not synced back to iTunes from the iPod.

Kuler not syncing colors properly between web and CC apps?
I just created a new Kuler theme on the web ("Lyft app basics"), and then synced with Illustrator CC (running 17.0.0). For some reason, the theme color values are not showing up properly! I had created a theme a few weeks ago ("dark cocktail bar") and that one is fine. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? The only thing i can think of is that i copied and pasted hex codes from illustrator and perhaps kuler is having issues with copy/paste?? (the "dark cocktail bar" theme i made using the iOS app)

Thanks for any help!Figured out the problem. On the kuler website, in edit mode, I needed to highlight the rgb values in order for the theme to default to those values (before I had highlighted CMYK).
