Excluding condition type for a Purchasing document type

Dear all,
I want to excude a particular condition type from pricing in a Purchase order. How to do this and where actually it is assigned to a dcoument type? Please give steps in both spro and easy access?
thanks and regards,
Prashanth

Hi
In standard SAP as far as I know there is no link to the condition type and the document type used. Condition types are included in Pricing procedures/schemas . This schema is assigned to vendor in purchasing and as per the schema the procedures gets activated during PO creation. We can have multiple pricing schemas customised to our requirement but the procedures ralways refer to vendor and not document types. Domestic vendor and Import vendor will be having separate Pricing schemes and the conditions types will be entirely different. You can include/modify all these condition types as per your requirement. You can take a decision whether to use a particular condition in a pricing condition in a PO or not  there is no problom in this.

  • Differentiating of pricing schema for each purchasing document type

    Dear colleagues,
This topic could be discussed before but I need to clarify some points.
We would like to differentiate pricing schema per purchasing document types (e.g. AA and ZZ). These purchasing documents are not like domestic and import types.
There some condition(s) where purchasing document type AA should not be able to maintain whereas ZZ should be able to.
In this case shall use one unique pricing schema for both purchasing document types if so how can I hide some conditions for document type AA or if I use separate pricing schema how can I set different pricing schemas for different purchasing document types because both document types have same purchasing organization, vendor etc.

    Hi,
Why to have two different schema groups! Is procurement process is completely different, so use to have!
(have thought of separate condition types for each Calculation Schema)
Based on Schema Group Of Vendor in the vendor master, the PO for vendor with respective Schema Group Of Vendor will populate the assigned condition typesu2019. Follow path:
SPRO->MM->Purchasing->Conditions->Define Price determination process ->Define Schema Determination
    Under segment:
Determine Calculation Schema for Standard Purchase Orders
Here you can assign Schema Group Purchasing Organization, Schema Group of Vendor and Calculation Schema
    Under segment:
Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders
Here you can assign Schema Group Purchasing Organization, PO document type and Calculation Schema

  • GENERATE A LINK FOR PURCHASE DOCUMENT

    Hi,
our scope is to generate a link for a purchase document in a 45.B release.
Manually we can, inside a PO, go to menu system>links and add a url link for the opened document (link type URL).
Is it posible to generate this link form abap starting from the PO number with a bapi op function module ?
Otherwise is it possible to customize the links in order to obtain some default values, always present in the links list  for all PO ?
    Best Regards
    Riccardo Galli

A link is a hyper-link. Therefore, it should be applied to all readers or browsers. It should be applied to all protocols, PDF, HTML, and etc. If a link can contain page or bookmark information, readers or browsers should be able to go to that page or bookmark directly. They need not do it manually. This feature will be very good for reviewers when they have a lot of cross references in documents.

Take a fixed frame inside the purchase order master repeating frame and place your terms and condition inside the fixed frame.

  • Conditions from Quotation to Purchase order

    Dear Team,
    Requirement is
    1. Client maintain quotation with discounts, delivery costs in ME47
1st Qs: System does NOT show condition types [which I have created] in Conditions of Quotation e.g. ZR01 [copy of RA01]
    2. While creating PO refernce to RFQ, system does NOT take the effective price including discount, delivery costs. PO takes price from PB00 maintained in Quotation. It shows me FRA1 but not RA01
2nd Qs: How to capture this effective price??
    Pls suggest Solution
    Thanks

    Hi,
I would advice you to test the same with the standard calculation schema RM0000. The condition RA01 should not be in this schema a manual condition!
Please check additionally if you had set the 'time dependent condition' indicator for your RFQ document type in the customizing:
    in the Path "SPRO >>
materials management >> Purchasing >> RFQ/Quotation >> Define Document Types" for your relevant purchasing document type.
When you use time-dependent conditions, you have to maintain
for your relevant condition type the pricing procedures for
condition supplements (RM0001) as well in the Path "SPRO >> materials management
    >> purchasing >> conditions >> define price determination process >>
    define condition types.
SPRO >> materials management >> purchasing >> conditions >> define price
determination process >> Define Calculation Schema >> here please check if your conditions are included in  RM0000 and RM0001.

  • Printing purchasing documents.

    Hi,
how can I configure the system for printing purchasing documents,
what are the trx for configuring the system?
    Best regards

Hi, for each purchase document you have one transaction.
You have to go to transaction SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Output Control -> Message Types -> in this section you select what purchasing document you want.
You select output type with double click, on default values you put dispatch time with type 3 or 4, and transmissium medium.
If you want to change programa and form you double click on Processing routines tab.
Then you have to create condition record for this document, you go to Logistics -> Purchasing -> Master Data -> Messages -> in this section you select document that you want.
In this transaction you create by output type, condition record for each document type, etc...
I hope that this information help you

  • Send Purchasing Documents via email/fax to vendor

    Hi all,
I have a customer requirement wherein Purchasing documents such as RFQ, PO etc need to be sent to vendors via email/fax. To cater to the customer's form requirements, we developed smartforms instead of using the standard MM purchasing smartforms. To call these smartforms in the print programs, we copied the standard print program SAPFM06P and commented out the function module ME_PRINT_PO  in the routine ENTRY_NEU and added the our own code to call the custom smartform. The custom code segment in the print program is attached for reference.
Now, when we are trying to generate messages for the purchasing documents using output type External Send, the custom program does not pick up the email address maintained in the vendor master and instead picks up email address maintained in RFQ or PO initiator's user profile. We have made the required configuration for SCOT and SOST tcodes.
We tested the same scenario requirement using the standard print program and got the desired results i.e. the print program picked up the email address maintained in the vendor master. But with this approach, we cannot use our custom smartform.
Any help in this matter will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Saad

    Hi Biju !
Thanks for the response but I think you missed the point here. I am using different output types for RFQ and PO as well as different custom smart forms and we are using the same custom print program to generate output for both.
The issue is with the print program and not the output type as I mentioned that I have already got this thing working on our IDES using the standard print program and standard forms.
Tomas Talpa's response seems to be helpful. I'll get my technical consultant to amend the code accordingly and see if it works.
