Exclusion of open sales order in credit management

Hi friends,
My requirement is that, all open sales orders should not be considered into credit management.
Is this possible in simple credit check or Automatic creidt check? Tell me the settings.
Regards
Rama

Dear Rama,
You can definitely Exclude Open Orders in Automatic Credti Management.
Use T-Code - OVA8
Select the required combination of Credit Control Area, Risk Cat. & Credit Group & double click.
Under Checks Tab There is Check Box for Open Orders.
In your case as you want to exclude Open Orders, just uncheck the box.
Hope this helps...
Give points if useful...
Thanks,

Where can we link between sales order to Credit management?

    HI Gopala rao.,
In VOV8 sales document type there is <b>credit limit & Credit group</b> Where we asign the credit mage, ment data to Order
The configuration part of credit managemnt is
    CREDIT MANAGEMENT:
A credit limit may be a customer’s credit limit, which is the permitted limit of value of open items, such as invoices not yet paid, plus the value of open sales orders.
The credit limit is the total combined value of the following documents:
    Net value of sales order
Open Sales order: order created, but not delivered
Open deliveries: delivered, but not invoiced
Open billing doc: value of billing doc, which has not yet been forwarded to accounting
Open items: forwarded to accounting, but not settled.
    Types of Credit Check
    • Simple Credit Check
    • Automatic Credit Check
    o Static
    o Dynamic
    Simple Credit Check:
SPRO- IMG- SD- Basic Functions- Credit Mgmt/ Risk Mgmt- Simple Credit Check- Assign Credit Check to Doc Types.
    • Based on sales doc types
    • It will check all the above-mentioned docs & if the credit limit exceeds, the system responds in the way defined by you in the configuration menu.
    • Cannot differentiate according to customer
3 ways to Control the Simple Credit Check:
    A: warning
B: error message: the doc cannot be saved
C: warning message with delivery block: the doc can be saved but is automatically blocked for delivery.
    Automatic Credit Check:
This credit mgmt control is maintained by using the automatic credit control functionality. The automatic credit control divides the sales doc types, the delivery doc types, & goods issue into specific credit groups. It also uses the customer’s risk category as assigned to the CMD of the payer & assigns an outcome proc to the combination of the above 2 objects, i.e. the credit group & customer risk category along with the credit control area. The definition of customer’s risk category is carried out in the fin accounting module.
A customer’s risk category is a grouping category that controls the credit check when automatic credit control takes place. Thus one can assign high-risk customers to risk category for e.g. A01, medium risk to B01 and low risk to C01.
Automatic credit check divides customers in to 3 categories:
    • High-risk customers,
    • Low risk customers &
    • Medium risk customers.
A credit check &#61614;can only occur at 3 places: Credit Group
Sales order: for high risk customers
    Delivery: for medium risk customers
Goods Issue: for low risk customers

Select line item and go to details, you can decide whether to do Static or Dynamic Credit Check. Credit Horizon can also assigned here. Additional function checks can be performed here:
    • A credit check when the maximum document value is exceeded.
    • A credit check when changing critical fields.
The risk category assignment occurs in the same place as the customer’s credit limit, which is the customers credit management screen. That is, the risk category is assigned to the customer by the Finance in transaction code FD32.
The customer credit master record is divided in to 5 views:
    • Overview Screen: gives an overview of credit settings in relation to the customer, including his credit limit, credit exposure, the %tage of credit limit used, his payment data & his risk category.
    • Address: view gives the customers address details as they appear in CMD
    • Central Data: is a view that shows the total credit limit the customer can receive across all credit control areas as well as the maximum limit he can receive in one credit control area.
    • Status: view shows the customer’s actual individual details according to particular CCA being investigated. This includes his credit limit, percentage used, credit exposure, risk category, whether he is blocked due to credit or not.
    • Payment history: view displays the payments made by the customer for a particular credit control area where a comp code is assigned.
Static Credit Check Dynamic Credit Check
Net Doc Value Net Doc Value
    Open Order Open Order
    Open Delivery Open Delivery
    Open Billing Open Billing
    Open Item Open Item
Compares the total combined values of the above-mentioned documents to credit limit. Plus credit horizon. Compares the values of the following documents to credit limit + credit horizon.
Credit horizon has an attached time period that states that the system is not to include sales orders in the total of outstanding items created after that specified period i.e. for the purpose of evaluating credit, you want the system to ignore all open orders that are due for delivery after the horizon date. Maintained for low & medium risk customers.
    Update Groups
Basically it is a info structure where system stores all the data about credit limit. The credit relevant data is updated in a info structure, where it is accessed & updated. Thus each automatic credit control must be assigned an update group.
    • Update Group 000012
    • Update Group 000015: delivery & billing
    • Update Group 000018: sales order, delivery & billing.
    Update group 000012, updates at:
    • Sales doc: increased order value
    • Delivery: decreased order value & increased delivery value
    • Billing: decreased delivery value & increased billing amount
    • Invoice: decreased billing amount & increased open item value.
    Release Blocked Sales Order/ Deliveries:
    • VKM3: sales order
    • VKM5: delivery
    • VKM4: both
One can see the offending document. Note on the right hand side, the ‘Status Field’. This shows the check, the doc failed. If this field is empty, the doc did not fail a credit check, even though it may be in the list of SD documents that are “required to be released”.
To release the doc, one indicates the doc to be released and then clicks on the ‘Release Button’. The result is the offending doc entry, highlighted green. One then proceeds to save, after which you are informed the doc number has been released.
    • Net value with sub total ‘A’, in pricing proc, will be the basis for credit limit.
    REWARD if helpfull

  • Balance sales order in credit management

    HI all,
I need to exclude the sales order in credit management. This order was been created last year and the billing document was been canceled last year too.
Now, the sales document has been concluded and outbound delivery has been in process. The post goods issue has been confirmed.
Someone knows how do I exclude this balance?
    Best regards,
    Julio César

    Dear,
If Accounting done=When you cancel the invoice, system automatically reverse the debit balance into credit balance in party account balance.
If Accounting Not done = when you cancel invoice there are no account document. so that's why no effect on party account.

  • Confirmation qnty in sales order with credit Managment

Hi    SD Experts very Good Morning ..
Generally in OVB8-- 101 Requirement and 1 Routine   controls , once customer crossed his credit limit automatically Confirm qnty become zeo and and once we release that document in VKM3 Again confirmed qnty will be active mode for the customer .... this is sap Function  once we removed 101 routine it wont work like this
    But ....
In this link clearly mentioned in sales order -- Fixed qnty/date one field is there if we activate also system confirms stocks 0 in case credit limit customer crossed his limit
    http://monicaradytia.wordpress.com/2014/02/21/fixed-quantity-and-dates-in-sales-order-document/
So both functionality is same ... a bit confused sir
    please share your dynamic knowledge
    Thanks a  lot

The routine which you are suggesting is prerequisite to update MRP.
(please dont mix this with credit management--that is a different concept all together)
    Fixed date & Qty:
this indicator you can check at transaction level or at configuration level(by default for your sales area)
The purpose of this indicator is How to confirm or assure your customer(there by he can assure to his consumer)
Once you activated this indicator means at transaction level/(or Default for your sales area):
    At customer level:
You are assuring your customer that you will give the required Goods on this specific date.(here the customer priority is not the Question)
    At Business level:
After activation of this flag, your MRP will be updated and in case if you are rescheduling all your sales orders--this order will be skipped from others--so MRP department need to plan/Procure/Produce these goods on the specific date mentioned.
As far as i know these two are completely different in their respective Properties.
Needless to mention here--whether you are confirming or not ,still you can update MRP by using delivery Blocks concept.

  • Confirmed qty zero in sales order for Credit management

    Hi SD Experts
Created an order in VA01 for 10 qty which exceeds the credit limits. In item level schedule lines it is showing the confirmed qty 10 instead of 0 qty before saving the order. After saving the order I have checked in VA02 it is showing Confirmed Qty Zero in Schedule Line.
Is it because of the Availability check it is showing the confirmed qty in SO for 10?
Is there any possibility the confirmed qty should show zero in VA01 before the order is saved ?
    Regards
    Pradeep
Edited by: Pradeep Kumar.A on Nov 5, 2011 6:17 AM

Confirmed quantity is a result of configured ATP rules and availability of the inventory. System has control over it and it is not changeable. Imagine a situation where system says that the confirmed quantity is 10 cases based on the inventory availbility and you go out there and change to 100... does it make sense to be able to change it like that?
So, no you cannot change it. You can only influence it by changing your order quantity or adding inventory or move some reserved quantities to unreserved status etc.

  • Open Sales Order Values in Credit Managment

    Hi,
    1. I want to include the open sales orders that were created before implementing the functionality of  Credit Managment.  How to check the credit limits for that sales orders.
Fro Example. If i want do the credit checks for 1000 open sales orders.
    2. How to reset the customer credit limit in FD32. I tried using the t.code f.28, but it will not be reset to zero(0).
    Thank you,
    Ravi

    Hello Ravi,
You can try this: in table VBAK, you might have the date when this a particular order was created( ERDAT or sometihng like that..). You'll have to join table VBAK/VBAP/VBRK(billing table)/VBFA and the logic should be that the program should pick up all the orders created before 1 yr and should also check that the items are not rejected, and the delivery not yet created.
    Check the following fields:
    VBAK-ERDAT, VBAP-ERDAT, VBAP-ABGRU, VBAP-AEDAT.

    Raghu.

  • Excluding open sales order & Deliveries in Credit management

    Hi All,
I dont want to update all the open sales orders and deliveries in sales value in FD32. For this I have done the configuration and it is working fine. But after the configuration, system will delete the existing records in S066 & S067 and will not create records further even we create new sale order, del & inv.
Now I want to know wether there will be any problem if the records in S066 & S067 were deleted and will not be created further. And I also want to know wether the data in these infostructures (S066 & S067) were used anywhere in the system or not?
Kindly help me out in this.
    Ratna

    Hi,
My requirement is while doing credit check system should consider only open invoices, not sales order or deliveries. For this I did the following.
After running the program all my records in S066 & S067 will be deleted as I have deleted the update group under credit control area. Giving blank in update group under credit control area, will not update any open sales values or deliveries in FD32 for freshly created documents. But already there will be some existing open orders & del in the system which will show as sales value in FD32. This value will not be cleared for ever as there was no update group. So I want to clear these sales value in FD32. So I will run the program after deleting the update group and so the system will delete all the records in S066 & S067 and sales value will be zero in FD32 which is as per requirement.
Now I want to know will there be any problem by deleting this records. Wethere these records are anywhere used in the system other than FD32???
    Kindly update
    Ratna

I am designing Add-on report about credit exposure.
I found the relevant tables of Credit Limit in FD32
    KNKK
    S066
    S067
Then, I would like to show the document details of open sales order credit value in the report.
I tried to summarize the open sales order amount from VBAK, VAUK, VBAP, VBUP.
However, it doest match to the amount in S066 table.
Can anyone tell us how to summarize Open sales order credit value from SD documents?
    Regards,
    Yu

    Sudheer,
You need to check the update rule given in the definition of the Credit control Area which you are using for credit management. If you want only the open deliveries then you need to have update rule 15 in the credit control area.
In the credit controal settings, you need to have settings for the credit check at the delivery level.
Hope this will solve your issue.

  • Where is Open Sales Order Value coming in Credit Master sheet?

We have a customer whose credit exposure is below credit limit. I'm in Customer Credit Management overview screen and I ran Credit Master sheet report (for this CMR) under Environment -> Reporting -> Credit Master Sheet.
I see value in Receivables and Open Sales Order Value which sums up to Credit Exposure Value. I'm wondering which sales orders are considered to calculate open sales order value?
I ran different order reports like VA05 and some custom reports available, but I could not find a direct report that matches the open sales order value.
I manually compared Open Sales orders based on Horizon date, the value that I'm arriving is kind of close of Open Sales Order Value in Credit master sheet report.
Update rule used is 000012 in automatic credit control screen.
Please let me know if there is an easiest way to find data behind Open Sales Order Value in Credit master sheet report.
    Appreciate any help!

. I'm wondering which sales orders are considered to calculate open sales order value?
Those customer orders which are relevant for credit limit. Please let me know if you are talking about something different?
I ran different order reports like VA05 and some custom reports available, but I could not find a direct report that matches the open sales order value
.You can not compare the VA05 open sales order report with FD32 open sales order report.
You can find out the open order values of Credit manangement(FD32) in S066 table.
Please let me know if there is an easiest way to find data behind Open Sales Order Value in Credit master sheet report.
For open sales order you can find out  in S066 table and sales values in KNKK table

  • Open sales order value for credit check need to be changed (S066)

    Hi all,
I need to change open sales order value which is already there in S066 table.
Previously we had used open order value for credit check. Open order values are already updated in the S066 table.
Now we dont want to consider open order value for credit check (which is already included in the credit exposure field in FD32).
When we create sales order system is taking old open order value for credit. Now i have changed not to update open order value for credit check. Now its not updating open order value. But my issue is how to change existing or (previous) open order value for credit?
Can i change S066 table data directly to '0'. Is it advisable to chage open order value directly from this table?
    Please advise me.
    Regards,
    Babu
Edited by: babs on May 19, 2010 4:26 PM

    Hi Babs,
If you doesn't want to reflect the open order value in the structure for this order value ,If the order is not processed kindly delete the line items and the order. Then save the document. Then try to see the structure S066.. This will be modified.
If you want to modify the value then follow the below process.
Otherwise delete the line item in the order and change the pricing date and the document date. Re enter the line item again so that it will take it up the new changes.
    I hope it will help.

  • Open sales orders value not updating currectly in sales value of CM

    Hi SAP experts,
I have an issue some of customers credit exposure value showing worng value. We are using static credit limit check.
    customers credit limit RM20000,
    open sales order valueRM6,073.77
    open delivery=0
    open billing =0
    open items(recievables)=3,464.39
    Credit exposure =9,538.16.
But i have checked in VA05 its showing 13,001.10 value, i have checked all areas didnt get any solution.
I have run the reports RVKRED09 and RVKRED77 , RVKRED88 also no updates in the credit management.
is there any other areas i need to check, advise me.
    Regards,
    Nooka

The only thing you really need to check is RVKRED88.
It is not the correct procedure to compare the open sales order value with the sum net value of VA05.
In VA05 open documents are displayed indifferent whether they are already part-delivered or not. That's why the open values from the VA05 are not directly comparable with the values in RVKRED77.
As described in OSS note 716141; reports RVKRED88/77 shows the correct value which should be in your system.
If you need to know more let me know.
    Thanks,

Here when i was checked at VA05 level for particular one customer EX 15456 and executed only open sales orders and it's showing the net value is total = 45,45254 and i checked the table S066 FOR open orders credit it's showing is = 0.

    Hi
    1. Is credit management active in your system?
    2. If yes, is it assigned to the relevant sales order type that your are checking the value in VA05?
    3. Go to SE38 and enter program CHECK_CM, execute for a particular sales order and check the reason for credit update not happening.

  • Open sales order not getting updated in FD32

    HI
We are configuring Credit management, and found that the open sales orders are not getting updated in FD32.
I have checked all the settings in OVA8 and all are working fine. This is a Static credit check and system is blocking the customer in case, the limit is exceeded. But the values are not getting reflected in FD32, for open sale orders, that are not blocked.
Info structure S066  in OMO1 all are configured perfectly. I have run F.28 and no log was issued.
Request to suggest other reasons for not getting updated in the table.
I have gone thru the previous threads, but cud not find any solution.
    Regards
    Vamsi Javaji.

    Hi Vamsi Javaji
First of all check in OVA8 wheather you have checked Open sales orders feild or not . Secondly check in your pricing procedure wheather you have maintained Subtotal A or not for the Net Value .Also check wheather you have assigned to your sales document type correctly or not  Finally check in OMO1 wheather S066 has been assigned correctly or not
Check wheather you have assigned the Credit control area to the customer in CMR , in sales tab
