Exluding TABELSPACE from impdp?

Hello
Is it possible to EXCLUDE a TABLESPACE from impdp? I didn;t find any post about that.
I have DB with 2 tablespaces with archive data which I don't need for my test server. How to import all object from dmp file without this 2 databse?
My parameter file for IMPDP:
DIRECTORY=data_pump_dir
FULL=y
DUMPFILE=FULL_2010.08.20.dmp
logfile=imp2.log
REMAP_DATAFILE=\'E:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\10.2.0\ORADATA\VA_DATA.DBF\':\'C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\oradata\ORCL\VA_DATA.DBF'

EXCLUDE=TABELSPACE:VARCHIVE
EXCLUDE=TABLESPACE:HARCHIVE
It seems not work I ahve errors:

Hi,
For full database exp/imp, you exp/imp all users/schemas, so all tablespaces are supposed to import data of these schemas, you can't skip any tablespace.
Alternatively you can go for transportable tablespaces option to exp/imp only certain tablespaces.

  • Any way to call function from impdp except remap_data?

    HI Friends,
    I have a requirement of load prd data into stage by masking some sensitive columns.Iam using impdp of datapump utility to load data.iam using remap_data option to call mask functions.But remap_data option is supporting upto 10 columns.
    we have more than 20 columns to mask.
    is there any other way to call oracle function from impdp?
    eg:-
    impdp pa_data_sub/******@qdssih30 NETWORK_LINK=qdspih30 schemas=RESP remap_data=col1.mask,col2.mask,col3.mask... CONTENT=all table_exists_action=replace
    Please suggest me different options.
    Thanks,
    Venkat Vadlamudi

    No,
    I didn't realize that there was a limit of 10 for remap data. As a work-around, can you remap 10 of the columns during export, and then 10 during import? Not sure if you want to give someone a dumpfile with sensitive data in it. If you could, you could at least double the limitation to 20 rows.

  • ORA-39776 from impdp

    Greetings
    I am trying to do a test import with impdp from a 10.1.0.5 system to a 10.2.0.1.0 system. I have the following parfile:
    DIRECTORY=image_import
    remap_schema=track2:image_admin
    remap_tablespace=users:image_test
    remap_tablespace=indx:image_test
    job_name=impdp_track2_try1
    logfile=impdp_track2.log
    dumpfile=expdp_track2_01.dmp
    I set up the directory with
    create directory or replace image_import '/oracle/oradata'
    and put the files there. I set the ownership to oracle:orinstal
    When I try to run the import with
    impdp IMAGE_ADMIN/***** PARFILE=impdp.parfile
    I get the error:
    Connected to: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
    With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options
    ORA-39002: invalid operation

    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [klaprs_12], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
    The user image_admin as the sysdba role and import privileges.
    I'm guessing that 39776 is the root cause, but I can't find enough info on this error to figure out what to do next. Can I use impdp from 10.1 to 10.2? Can anyone suggest some places where I might look for an error?
    Thanks
    Mike

    Thanks for the reply. I've been off on other tasks for awhile.
    The command used was:
    impdp IMAGE_ADMIN/******* PARFILE=impdp.parfile
    The parfile contains:
    DIRECTORY=image_import
    remap_schema=track2:image_admin
    remap_tablespace=users:image_test
    remap_tablespace=indx:image_test
    job_name=impdp_track2_try1
    logfile=impdp_track2.log
    dumpfile=expdp_track2_01.dmp
    Regarding patchsets--I see many possible. I have downloaded document 316901.1 "Known issues specific to the 10.2.0.1 Beta Release" and it has a number of issues listed, but I don't see a link to a particular patch set. I have also downloaded the patches through the Maintenance view of the EnterpriseManager, but I don't see anything that looks like a single patchset. The patchsets and patches I do see have cautions about applying them if they are not relevant to the problem. Any guidance in this area will be gratefully appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Removing single objects in fireworks from sharing.

    I have a page thats sharing layers to multiple other pages.  The problem is I dont want the text box and contents from the first page to share with the other five pages.  I swear I figured this out at one point.  But I forgot what I did.  Or if it was a late night and I imagined  it =)  I love the fact I can do this.  I just wish I new how to exlude parts from the first page.

    I kind of figured it out.  . the only issue now is the layers then seem to lock until I click on one from the layers panel.  If i click the screen desighn it does nothing.  no biggie just a hassle.,

  • Cost Center data Extraction from R/3

    Hello,
    I am using extractor 0CO_OM_CCA_1 to get CO data into BW-BPS. After examining the resulting data into BW, I have a a problem: The customer uses movement types JVIV, RKIV, RRIV in R/3 for some of their cost centers, and they want those movements to be excluded from the extraction. However, I can see no valid filtering possibilities at the extractor....
    Do you know how I could make this filtering?
    Many thanks in advance for your help,
    Eduardo.

    Hi Gianfranco, thanks for your reply
    I am stuck at this point because when data is extracted from R/3 into BW, there is a "conversion" for such "movement types", in which the system maps those values I mentioned from table COSP_VTYPE in R/3 into something like the following in BW:
    Table RSTVTDETAIL:
    VALUETYPE MEASTYPE VTDETAIL TXTSH                TXTMD
    010       001000   01       Primary Costs        Primary Costs
    010       001000   02       CO-Transfer          CO-Transfer
    010       001000   03       CO-Allocations       CO-Allocations
    010       001000   04       CO-Activ. alloc.     CO-Activity allocations
    010       001000   05       CO-Settlement w act. CO-Settlement with activity flow
    010       001000   06       CO-Settl. wo act.    CO-Settlement without activity flow
    The problem is, I cannot find a correspondent value for those JVIV.. from R/3, and thus, all data is displayed as a total. What I intend is to separate entries related to those COSP_VTYPE values and exlude them from budgetting...
    The final objective for this one is (I will try to explain it without a specific technical knowledge of financial vocabulary), that It is a requirement that imputations to a cost center that come from other cost centers, are not displayed for the former.
    Any help will be appreciated. Thank you very much in advance
    Regards,
    Eduardo.

  • Data Merge not picking up all data fields

    Hi,
    I've been having a problem, posted here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1217090
    Essentially, I have been using the script 'CSV2Tables' to prepopulate simple 2 column tables with information drawn from a CSV data source.
    The tables consist of a title, and a block of information about that specific subject. Many of the blocks of information I am importing also contain data tags (<<DataTag>>)
    The plan is to use CSV2Tables to populate the tables, then change data source and run a normal ID Data Merge to replace all of the <<tags>> within the tables with information from a second CSV data source.
    The problem is, CSV2Tables is importing the data and prepopulating the tables just fine, but the data tags that are found within each body of text are being picked up as plain text (as Peter Spier has pointed out, they are being drawn from a plain text stream rather than being dragged from the Mail Merge panel) so when I try to run the ID Mail Merge, none of the fields are found within my document.
    My question is - is there a method, or script available out there that can essentially do a Find/Change within a document, and replace plain text that appears like this <<PlainText>> with a Data Tag that is recognised by ID, which will allow me to run a Data Merge?
    I have been told to check out some of the commercial plugins available out there, but registering and setting up demo's would require me to contact our IT provider for each, and that would be an exhaustive process.
    Any help is much appreciated.

  • Time Machine Space Problem

    When I attempt to backup using Time Machine, I get an error stating that there is not enough space on my external drive...that I should exlude files from the backup. I've never run into this problem before. In the past, when space became limited on my external backup drive, Time Machine would simply delete the oldest files and then proceed with the backup.
    I've searched the forums and can't find any similar cases. Is there any adjustments I need to make somewhere? Any suggesstions or help would be appreciated.
    I have a MacBook Pro with OS 10.6.8.
    Thanks.

    Thanks. I read Pondini article and tried various suggestions for my OS. No luck. Still getting message that Time Machine can't back up to my BackUp drive. 'Need to exclude files or select larger backup disc.'

  • Stupid question about import/export

    Hi All,
    i'm banging my head against the wall :) :)
    i have one database (oracle 10g) , the database is called ORAPD
    in this database lives a user called WFAT
    ORAPD -- WFAT
    now i create 3 another users: WFATG , WFAUTOG, WFPATG
    Now i want to import all data, objects, index,sequences etc from WFAT to each one of the other 3 users
    ORAPD -- WFAT
    -- WFATG (new user with objects from wfat)
    -- WFAUTOG (new user with objects from wfat)
    -- WFPATG (new user with objects from wfat)
    this is want i've done.
    export wfat objects, connected with user system with expdp
    import wfaobjects to each one of the new 3 users with impdp , remapping schemas and tablespaces
    f:\impdp system/passwordXXX schemas=wfat remap_schema=wfat:wfautog remap_ta
    blespace=tbs_wfatg_tab:tbs_wfautog_tab remap_tablespace=tbs_wfatg_idx:tbs_wfauto
    g_idx remap_tablespace=tbs_wfatg_xml:tbs_wfautog_xml status=60 dumpfile=exp_wfat
    g_20100421.dmp parallel=2 directory=dumpdirdd
    The problem:
    i have WFAT tables with triggers that belong to WFATG , WFPATG and WFAUTOG users !!!
    why ???
    Best regards
    Rui Madaleno

    Hi Paul,
    thanks for you reply
    I have followed your suggestion and removed the shemas=wfat option from the impdp command.
    Here are the steps:
    1) create the user wfautog
    Note that , before the import i've created the tablespaces and the wfautog user:
    CREATE USER WFAUTOG
    IDENTIFIED BY xxxxxx
    DEFAULT TABLESPACE TBS_WFAUTOG_TAB
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP
    PROFILE DEFAULT
    ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
    -- 2 Roles for WFAUTOG
    GRANT CONNECT TO WFAUTOG;
    GRANT RESOURCE TO WFAUTOG;
    ALTER USER WFAUTOG DEFAULT ROLE ALL;
    -- 1 System Privilege for WFAUTOG
    GRANT UNLIMITED TABLESPACE TO WFAUTOG;
    2) import data:
    f:\impdp system/passwordXXX remap_schema=wfat:wfautog remap_ta
    blespace=tbs_wfatg_tab:tbs_wfautog_tab remap_tablespace=tbs_wfatg_idx:tbs_wfauto
    g_idx remap_tablespace=tbs_wfatg_xml:tbs_wfautog_xml status=60 dumpfile=exp_wfat
    g_20100421.dmp parallel=2 directory=dumpdirdd
    After that i detect the following problems :( :(
    1) There are no sequences in the wfautog schema
    2) There are triggers owned by wfautog "pointing" to wfat tables
    Can you help me ?

  • Another one step forward, one step back post

    Just noticed this on CS6 (Mac):
    After I work on a project, I use ChronoSync to backup my project folder (which contains all my media and other assets besides caches) to another drive, which is an interim backup until LTO.
    Now, ChronoSync is re-writing ALL my media to the back up disk.  This is a big deal when I have 120GB of media in a project, which isn't unusual.
    What was taking a few seconds or minutes is now taking hours.
    I can see that Pr is changing the modification date on my media when I open (or maybe save) a project.  This is what ChronoSync is looking at to determine whether to backup that file or not.
    I'm not changing the media (not intentionally anyway).  Why the change in the way Pr works?  I don't see an advantage.  Can anybody (especially from Adobe) provide some insight?
    I'm guessing that Pr is adding some metadata to my source files, yes?  Is this necessary?  Can I turn it off?
    If Pr is modifying my sources, doesn't this risk corrupting my media files?

    Thanks for the longer description of your workflow.
    A couple of notes:
    As far as the ingesting of footage coming off of cards or HDs from the shoot, I use an app designed especially for this called Shotput Pro.  It is designed to ingest footage, append filenames, copy to multiple locations and verify the data.  If you haven't already, check it out - works great on location for a smooth data process.
    Time Machine will work in the same way of only doing incremental backups of what has changed since the last scan.  I guess in this way, you would come up against the same issue of the changed modification dates causing havoc.
    I use Time Machine to back up everything except for the shoot reels, which would quickly fill my TM drive.  After ingesting all of the footage into my file structure, I will copy the Shoot Reels to a Drobo drive where it will be protected as a backup outside of Time Machine.  Since the original media isn't being modified over the course of an edit, I can always retrieve it and relink the files if my HD that I edit from blows up.  (Not to delve too deep into a backup discussion, but if it is really sensitive footage, i will make another copy and store it in my safe deposit box at the bank)  So, that leaves all of the other files that do get backed up to TM hourly, which are generally much much smaller.
    I also like to leave everything related to one project in 1 folder.  Your note about not wanting to have to think about exluding folders from backup is something I share - however, I do have to manually tell TM not to backup the shoot reel folder for each project I create.  I haven't found an automated way of doing this yet.
    I can be more specific about how I organize my project folders and how it fits into a backup workflow, but I don't think that is what you are looking for since you already have your workflow down (with the exception of this wrench Adobe threw into the works...) Only if you are interested i will share my system.
    To your original question - I agree that the way CS6 modifies all of your footage mod dates is annoying and I wish i had an answer for you.

  • Travel item vs 1099 Reporting

    Dear All,
    At one of our US client's company we have a paid AP Invoice with a normal item along with an item set up as 'travel', does someone know how would we exclude it from the 1099 Report as the receipted travel costs should not be subject to 1099 Reporting?
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Nat

    Hi Suda,
    Yes, they are Sales Items with Item Type 'Items'.
    Generally we use them to handle travel expenses for contractors along with other expenses on the AP Invoices but somehow we should differentiate these 'travel' items from the other items to exlude them from the 1099 Report.
    I think Marcia is right, we can edit it in the '1099 Editing' but it is a manual solution and would take a lot of time.
    Thanks,
    Nat

  • Problem with DFS when enumerating large folders

    Hi,
    In our organization we have DFS in place. We don't use DFS-r replication. The DFS roots are hosted on 3 2012R2 domain controllers and we have 2 domain based namespaces (windows 2000 mode). We have a lot of issues when users/applications/servers are trying
    to open folders with lots of files in them (typically 10000+). When this happens DFS hangs organization wide. This causes a lot of problems for back-end applications which are constantly moving around files to different front-end systems. Most of them
    get exceptions resulting in a manual restart. Since our organization is running 24/24, 7/7, this is very ennoying. Especially for engineers who have to get up at night to restart those services.
    All user folders/mapped network disks are using DFS to access the file server. We have more then 2000 employees accessing a DFS namespace. At the time the issue occurs, they also experience problems accessing their data.
    When the issues occur, we have no problems accessing the targets themselves, so we can exclude file server issues. We use a third party appliance as DNS server, but this also works as should at the time the issue occurs. The only way to resolve our issue
    that we have found so far is to clean out those folders, or when that's not possible, exlude them from the DFS namespace.
    We thought upgrading our DC's from 2003 to 2012R2 would resolve the issue but that didn't do it. Is this a known issue and is there another workaround/fix? Also, is there a way to find out which target caused
    DFS to hang? We have already done a lot of troubleshooting with articles we found on the net but nothing seems to be wrong with our DFS setup/AD/DNS. We also opened serveral cases with MSFT but after the network trace analysis they always conclude there's
    nothing wrong.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
    Distributed File System (DFS) currently has a size recommendation of 5000 folders with a target in a domain-based namespace. It belongs to Windows Server 2000 DFSN and not to Windows Server 2008. You could create a domain namespace in “Windows Server 2008 mode”
    to create more than 5000 folder.
    When the number of links exceeds the recommended limit, you might experience performance degradation when making changes to the DFS configuration.
    To reduce this problem, you could add more DFS Namespace server to spread the request to more servers.
    For more detailed information, please refer to the article below:

  • What is the opposite of  'CRM_BUPA_FRG0070_CALLBACK'?

    Hello everyone,
    In an implementation of Badi BUPA_GENERAL_UPDATE in method IF_EX_BUPA_GENERAL_UPDATE~CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE, I am trying to check the excluded functions of the BP and add some functions to the exclusion list if necessary. I can get the snapshot of the exluded functions from the memory via the 'CRM_BUPA_FRG0070_CALLBACK' FM, but couldn't find how the update them in memory (so that they gey committed to the db). I need the oppsite of 'CRM_BUPA_FRG0070_CALLBACK' which would do this trick. Rapid help would be very appreciated & rewarded.
    Regards;
    Özcan.

    Try function module CRM_BUPA_FRG0070_CHANGE

  • Warehouse blocked for ATP Check

    Hello Everybody.
    I need create a warehouse with the characteristic that the stock in this warehouse must not be considered in the ATP check.
    Where I can customize this characteristic?
    Thanks in advance.

    Silvia,
    Warehouse management has nothing to do with ATP check. ATP check works at IM level only, please control it through SLoc.
    - you can use SLoc MRP to exlude SLoc from planning and ATP check

  • Mission Control useless when using multiple monitors

    Background:
    From my iMac I'm watching NetFlix on a 2nd TV/Monitor. The movie is playing....   On my iMac I switch to another space.  Bam!  The movie window on the other monitor is gone.
    Conclusion:
    Using Mission Control and changing "spaces" does so on all attached monitors. This is not good.
    Need:
    There needs to be pref in "monitors" control panel to "exlude monitor from Mission Control" functions.
    Frustration:
    Grrrrrrrrrrr!   No more "Mission Control" as long as I'm using more than one monitor.
    What say Ye?

    Yes, mission control is a completely abomination on multiple monitors... I use a 4 screen setup, 1 of them is a 140 projector for movies... so i definitely understand what you mean about the movie issue.... MC isvery very limited in what could potential be a step up from Spaces... instead is a step backword...
    1. no way to lock monitors (such as you are talking about with watching a movie)
    2. no way to move windows from one desktop to another... Spaces was great for organization... MC is a very dumbed down version.
    3. Spaces showed all "desktops montitor groups together" where the way MC splits them seems unnatural and odd to me... makes sense on single monitor, but horrible on multi monitors
    4. Full screen apps are worthless with multiple monitors... it should give me the option to do full screen app on EACH monitor... this would definitely ogranization.
