Order (removed per forum guidelines) Not Showing in My Orders
I made Order (removed per forum guidelines) at about 1:00 AM EDT this morning and it is not showing up in the "My Orders" list on my account. I did not recevice a confirmation email but my new Best Credit card account has been authorized. I can understand wanting to know what’s going on with your online purchase, especially if it’s not appearing underneath your online account’s purchase history and you didn’t receive a confirmation email as you should have. This is certainly odd, and I’m sorry for any confusion this caused.
After pulling up your order number, I was glad to see that you successfully picked up three out of the five items you ordered and that the other two are in acknowledgement status. You should receive an email once they ship, but in case you don’t, please know that you may check up on your last two items here using information from your online order number.

Besides the ethical and professional issues involved, the iPad appears to be linked to a different iTunes account than your personal one. Applications are tied to the account, not the device - so if you were able to use your personal account to install the apps in question, you'd be wiping out all the ones your employer put on.
If you feel these apps are necessary for your work, then talk to your supervisor/tech department about them purchasing additional copies for use on the iPad. -

Have new MC544LL/A and same old problem"The ipod cannot be synced. A duplicate filename was specified."Is this a "apple or Itune" problem?
I fought this problem for WEEKS with no success. iTunes on Windows 7 x64. I tried running it as Administrator. I tried every fix I could find here and on Youtube and nothing. Any time I was in iTunes and switched focus to another Window like Outlook or something it would pop this error message up again. I reinstalled iTunes from scratch. This did NOT fix it, but it gave me a clue. I figured it had to be my iTunes library which is stored on an external HD.
After poking around in the library for a while I thought it might be a file that had been set to Read Only so I did an "attrib -r e:\itunes /s" to clear all of them all. This wasn't the problem but it alerted me to a file it couldn't clear. The file was iT.tmp and it couln't clear that because the file was corrupt. I deleted it but that still didn't fix it.
I finally did a "chkdsk e:\itunes /f" and let it run through. It found the error in iT.tmp, fixed it and now iTunes works fine again. -
Ok, so I want to buy the new iPod touch 5g this week and I have an iPhone 4. I want to transfer all the data from the iPhone to the iPod and have the files the exact same. I don't want to redo data, say erase game data (campaigns, achievements)... I have apps that have very important data on them and if I sync it to iTunes and then transfer all that data to the iPod Touch 5g, will that erase app data?

Hi, Dynamic actions in real time is merely a event triggered processing that can be configured to do a required job in the back ground automatically. For example when you hire an employee (IT0000 gets created -> can be considered as a trigger). Now this creation of IT0000 can be configured to automatically create date specfications in the background or say can be used to create IT2006 -> all quota types which zero hrs.

my wife andI are thinking about getting match so that all of our music is in one place. However, we are currently have different itunes accounts and we are worried about losing the different apps that we have accumulated over time, also she has more storage than I do and we are a little worried about that. You won't lose any apps but one of you will lose the ability to update apps on the device.
For you to share iTunes Match all devices must be signed into the same iTunes Store Apple ID that was used to purchase the service. This means any Apps that were purchased with the other Apple ID cannot be updated on the device as a device can only be associated with one Apple ID every 90 days.
I know it's not what you want to hear, but my suggestion is to simply stay with the system you have. It will cause you less headaches. -
Mail shows 70 messages but I have none. Why is that? Can it be corrected?
When you say you have none, are you sure that you are viewing "All Inboxes"? If not, try going back (top left option) until you see that option. If there are no new messages in "All Inboxes" then the messages might be in folders or smart folders.
Folders/Smartfolders
If you have sorting rules set up on your Mac's Mail app, then these "new" messages are in those folders. These messages will not show up in "All Inboxes." This might be what is happening. To find out, open up each folder/smartfolder on your Mac and see if there are new messages in them because iOS devices (iPod/iPhone/iPad) will not sort mail like your Mac. -

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

My wife and I recently purchased IPhones (4S), we use an iMac and an IPad 2, we have separate Apple ID's but when we fired up our new phones and began setting up the systems, our contacts and applications merged. Since then I have disabled ICloud from my phone and my iMac until we can figure out how to avoid this crossover of information. Are we overlooking something?

The apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that they were purchased under. Your iCloud accounts are also Apple IDs, so although you can sync the apps to your individual device via iTunes, you will be syncing them to the devices, not to iCloud.
Since you are still purchasing everything under one Apple ID, then I'm presuming that they live in a single iTunes library on your computer or Mac? If that is the case, then you would just want to:
Hook up a device to the Mac or computer
Select the device when it shows up under devices
Once selected, the Device Profile screens display to the right - click on the Apps tab, and select which ones you want on that device.
Also check all the other profile pages to make sure they are set up to sync the things you want to sync to that device.
On the info page, you will see that you can sync Contacts & Calendars via iCloud or via iTunes. If you want a single source for contacts & calendars for both of your devices, sync them via iTunes. If you want your own sets of contacts & calendars, sync them via iCloud.
Do you have iCloud set up on the computer or Mac? If so, which iCloud account are you planning on using?
Some of the decisions you will want to make will depend on how you have your computer or Mac configured in conjunction with iTunes. One Apple ID, but one or two User Accounts for the computer or Mac? iCloud on the computer or Mac? What do you want to share and to not share?

You have a few options available if you have moved to a different country.
You can add your new email address as an alternate "rescue" email, or change your Apple ID to the new email address. I recommend following the steps in these articles if you make either change:

We each have an iPhone 4. We each have our own iCloud accounts. We share many email accounts due to having several self-owned businesses. When I erase an email I don't need, it erases off of his phone. They are often emails he needs. I don't understand why this is happening- never been an issue before.
We never had this problem before, have had the same email accounts loaded on each iPhone for years. Now all of a sudden it's an issue. I'm disliking the new operating system more every day. First it was the maps, now this. So is there no solution? We each have our own clouds, so why are the emails disappearing? It's not like we are deleting from the actual sites. This is very frustrating, & we have limited technical background/experience but I am able to figure most things out.
I should be able to delete an email, which is downloaded to my phone, without it deleting off of his. And visa versa. Because if I go to yahoo.com or gmail from my laptop, they are still on the main sites. How do I "unlink"? I don't even see how they are doing this?! The settings do not indicate there is sharing between the devices. :( -
