Export file format

Hi All,
I want to export data in column format using calculation script. Currently Account, Period and scenario is dense and others are sparse in my essbase database. I am exporting data for actual scenario, multiple accounts and level zero periods. In the export file essbase automatically setting level zero period (Week 1 to week 53) in column header and other 2 dimension in row. I want to change the export file format using calculation. I want scenario to be column header and other all dimension to be in row. Is there any way I can specify the export file format. I used all the export setting but nothing is working.
Your response will be appreciated.
Thanks,

If scenario is dense and you are using the DATAEXPORT calc command try
SET DATAEXPORTOPTIONS {DATAEXPORTCOLHEADER Scenario;};
Cheers

  • Illustrator CS3 Import and Export File Format list?

    Hello,
Has anyone typed up an updated supported import and export file format list for CS3? I used to reference a support knowledgebase document, 1001741, (no longer on Adobe's site) that showed the majority of file formats and versions that Illustrator was able to import. I searched all over and couldn't find one, then called support and they confirmed they no longer had a list like that available--they had split the import options into separate lists--like what versions of Photoshop files, what versions of .eps files, .tiff files etc. Illustrator CS3 could open.
The reason I was looking because I wanted to see what version Corel file CS3 could open after I was not able to open a customer's v.12 .cdr file.
    Thanks,
    Rick H.

I am pretty sure that the last supported version of Corel that AI can open is version 10.

  • Should JPEG 2000 be an Exportable File Format Option?

I have been keeping up with the Library of Congress' efforts in the "Sustainability of Digital Formats Planning for Library of Congress Collections." In essence, TIFF is their first choice, with JPEG 2000 a close second. Here is the link to a short summary of their recommendations.
I like JPEG 2000, but like everybody else I never use it. When I burn a DVD to share with someone, I make a "hi-res" folder of TIFFs, and a "lo-res" folder of JPEGs. It isn't difficult to add JPEG 2000 as an exportable file format, as it is an ISO standard if I understand the spec correctly. In any event, if JPEG 2000 is a close second on the list at the Library of Congress, then we shouldn't take this lightly as they are the largest library in the world, in addition to being the single most important entity for handing our digital imaging rights which should be in the interest of all Aperture users.
Given this information, would you support adding JPEG 2000 as an exportable file format in Aperture 3?

Click on the word Aperture in the menubar, and choose Provide Aperture Feedback.
    Ernie
Btw, quoting from Wiki, which leaves me uncertain as to why I would ever use, even from Photoshop:
"While there is a modest increase in compression performance of JPEG 2000 compared to JPEG, the main advantage offered by JPEG 2000 is the significant flexibility of the codestream. The codestream obtained after compression of an image with JPEG 2000 is scalable in nature, meaning that it can be decoded in a number of ways; for instance, by truncating the codestream at any point, one may obtain a representation of the image at a lower resolution, or signal-to-noise ratio – see scalable compression. By ordering the codestream in various ways, applications can achieve significant performance increases. However, as a consequence of this flexibility, JPEG 2000 requires encoders/decoders that are complex and computationally demanding. Another difference, in comparison with JPEG, is in terms of visual artifacts: JPEG 2000 produces ringing artifacts, manifested as blur and rings near edges in the image, while JPEG produces ringing artifacts and 'blocking' artifacts, due to its 8×8 blocks."

  • Export file formats from flash?

Hi, I have an issue concearning existing file formats for export in Flash CS4.
According to the user's manual in Italian I have found, http://help.adobe.com/it_IT/Flash/10.0_UsingFlash/WS0E26E472-1533-4297-A904-59476E8E1935.h tml
available formts include EPS and AI.
As far as AI is concearned, I have this option but exported AI files are hard to open in Illustrator, since a number of problems appear.
If I separate all groups in Flash and then export to AI format, Illustrator finally opens the AI file, but changing the colours and the shape of my design.
Moreover, no dialogue box for Illustrator version options appear when I choose AI for export, as is described in the support page.
As to EPS file format, it is not in the export file dialogue box, the formats I have are JPG, PNG, GIF, EMF, WMF, BMP.
My point is that I draw in Flash, then I need to export the designs in Illustrator for print optimization, but the content changes dramatically, if I actually can open the files.
    Caould anyone help me?
    Silvia

I am unsure about the Illustrator export, as I have never needed to do this, nor do I have CS4.
The EPS reads as a printer option, not an export one:
"An EPS file can be printed with a PostScript printer. ... This format has no definable export options"

Will Photoshop Elements 12 export files in JPEG2000 or PDF/A formats

You should be able to "save as" jpeg, jpg and pdf formats according to this list:
You can always download a fully functional trial version and use it for 30 days.  By the way I don't know what JPEG2000 or PDF/A formats are.  Probably they are very old formats so your best course of action should be to try it and see if it is suitable for you.  It is free to try it.

  • Project cvs exported file format

    Hello,
Where can I get information on the format of the exported cvs file from Ms project. I need to read the file and extract information and I have no idea what is what.
    cheers,
    Ehsan

    Hi Ehsan,
Can you be more explicit about the information you're looking for about CSV format? Exporting in CSV format, there is an option to export as well column headers which facilitates the file understanding.
Please find below the link to the Office article about exporting an MPP file as CSV format.
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/project-help/export-or-import-data-to-another-file-format-HA010352531.aspx
Note that you'll have an exporting wizard in MS Project that will guide you toward the export process, allowing you mapping columns and choosing the separator. Then you'll be able to open the CVS file with Excel or any text editor.
Obviously if you're not the one that exported the MPP file to CSV format and if headers have not been included in the export process, the CSV file might be complicated to understand.
    Hope this helps.

  • Change the export file format

    Hello,
I got a request that i need do the following changes for the existing FDM location.
    1. Change the export file column order. e.g
    Before: a,b,c,d
    After: b,d,a,c
    2. Remove the header of the export file. e.g
    Before: Entity Product Account
    "NA" "NewProduct1" "100"
    After: "NA" "NewProduct1" "100"
I can not change the calc order in the adapter since many FDM locations are using the same adapter. And many FDM locations are using the same export action script.
Do you have any idea how can i do this ?
    Thanks,

It doesn't matter which adapter you are using that approach will work. Any custom modification of the output column order which overrides the calc sequence can be done in the Export Action script. Be aware though that any changes to Action script will affect your support agreement with Oracle if you have one. Therfore it may be best to put any custom output in the AftExport event script.

  • Why does FCE export file formats that can't be accessed in QuickTime?

I've been slowly but surely figuring out the FCE program.  About 3 months ago I editied a video, exported it and when I clicked on the .MOV file it automatically converted it to a QuickTime compatible file, which I was then able to save and upload to YouTube with no issues.  I have not updated or changed any settings or anything on my computer since then and now when I export a video it shows up as an .MOV file that QuickTime can't access.  Also, when I click on the "more info" button, it sends me to a link with a list of compatible formats and at the very top of the list is .MOV!  I really don't know what to do now.  HELP!
I just want to be able to view the video I edited and post it to YouTube.

but when it comes to exporting FCE4 forces 1920x1080 vids into a 1440x1080.
Not necessarily true.  But may be true if you put 1920x1080 source clips in an HDV (1440x1080) Sequence.  This is a common and often overlooked mistake.  Your camcorder can shoot both 1920 and 1440 video, what settings did you use when you filmed your clips?  What are your FCE sequence settings?  In addition, both of the available 1920 settings are progressive; FCE only supports progressive video if it's 720p.
All FCE output is based on the characteristics of the Sequence settings combined with any special settings you configure in QuickTime Conversion if you use QT Conversion for output.
and the results have been similar in all, grainy, pixelated or horizontal lines with movement.
These are common problems with clips & sequences whose settings do not match.  The combing effects could be a combination of low data rates plus being interlaced (again, check your Sequence settings).

  • PU12 - Export File format

    Dear all,
we use PU12 to export data to an external Payroll system.
I would like to know how I can produce a tab delimited ascii file (or any other kind of delimited e.g. with ";").
So far I have only managed to produce fixed length files, and I know about the iDoc templates.

    Hi,
The layout of the file should depend on the business requirement . What is the current layout if they have any , If no then check business how they want it .

  • IMovie Export File Format

Hi all. I just finished making a short (about 2 minute) digital story in iMovie (pictures, music, and voiceover) and need to export it. i was wondering what the best export format is if i wanted to posot it to a website?

Just use share>media browser then choose either the medium or mobile setting.
Alternatively you can publish direct to youtube with iM09. You'll have to first provide your logon info.

  • Why is H.264 not on the "export" file format list?

In QuickTime Help it says, "Video Format: Choose the video compressor (codec) you want to use to compress your video. For the highest quality at the lowest data rate (or the smallest file), H.264 is recommended." However, H.264 is not in the pop-up menu of formats, although the help file appears to say that it is. So how does one compress a .mov file to H/264 format?

  • How do I export *.TDMS file format to *.UFF file format?

    Hello
How do I convert TDMS file to UFF file?
I've heard that it's possible to convert the file by using Labview.
    Is it true?
I can't find the method in Labview.
    The version is Labview 8.6
By using SignalExpress, I can convert TDMS file to UFF file.
But it's troublesome job, because the procedure is made unfriendly for users when converting many files.
TDMS file tree is... (for example)
    file_1.TDMS --- strain --- S1,S2, ... S10
                      --- voltage --- V1,V2, ..., V10
                      --- temperature --- T1,T2, ..., T10
    I have file_1, file_2, ...
I wanna convert the TDMS file to UFF file.
Please, let me know the method to convert (export) file format in Labview

  • Why don't my 2007.1 XML service export files work in 2007.1.1?

Why don't my 2007.1 XML service export files work in 2007.1.1?
Due to changes to the XML export file format in version 2007.1.1, XML service export files from version 2007.1 are not usable in version 2007.1.1.

    Hi Alexander,
Just a nit-pick, I'm sure you already know this, but the phone looks for "/spa303.cfg" not "spa303.cfg"
Let's  simplify your issue, forget that you have CUCM running.
CUCM is not an  issue unless you have CDP running on the swich connected to the SPA303 and the SPA303 is requesting files on the wrong VLAN.
CUCM is not an issue unless the responding DHCP server is pointing the SPA303 to the wrong TFTP server.
    Try this:
    a. Factory reset your phone [else it will not look for /spa$PSN.cfg]
    b. What  DHCP server responds to your SPA303 when it boots up? Is it the DHCP  server you're expecting, or didn't a rogue DHCP server "jump" in and  make an OFFER pointing the SPA phone to the wrong place?
    c. Look at the DHCP OFFER OPTIONS from the server, is OPTION 66 *exactly* what you're expecting?
    d. Now look at the ARP request that the SPA303 performs, is it ARPing the correct provisioning server?
Here's what you should see assuming your phone gets no response from a TFTP server:
    1. The SPA303 will now look 4 times for the following files at 3-second intervals:
    SEP1CDF0F2F14F2.cnf.xml
    /spa303.cfg
    2. The SPA303 will now look 8 times for the following files at 3-second intervals:
    XMLDefault303.cnf.xml [repeat 8 times]
    /spa303.cfg
    3. The SPA303 will now look 20 times for the following file at 3-second intervals:
    /spa303.cfg
    4. The SPA303 will now look 33 times for the following file at 3-second intervals:
/Cisco/SPA303/1cdf0f2f14f2.cfg [33 retries for this file]
    5. The SPA303 will now look 33 times for the following file at 3-second intervals:
    /spa303.cfg
Up to now, about 6 minutes have elapsed since the phone was connected to the network and powered up.
    6. Wait for about 54 minutes
    7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until a file is found [click Wireshark image for high-resolution version]

  • File format passed to external editor

I could do with some help understanding how LR4 passes files to an external editor. My files in LR are RAW, and I am using both Photomatix and the Nik SW bundle. In the "External Editing Preferences" dialogue I have set the file format to TIFF.
To access Photomatix I go through the File>Export menu and it seems that TIFFs get exported. This makes sense to get key LR edits (esp camera profiles etc) burnt into the images that Photmatix sees, and to retain 16b resolution in the exported file. Is this correct? I can separately define the output (i.e. from Photomatix) file format in Photomatix itself.
Most of the Nik editors though are accessed through the Photo->Edit In menu though, and this pops up an additional "Specify Copy file" dialogue. I only get the option to pass the "Original with LR edits" as I'm working in RAW, this makes sense as above. I get an additional option to enter a copy file format of TIFF,PSD or JPEG though. Does this specify (a) the exported file format, (b) the file format to reimport, or (c) both? If (a) or (c) and I select (say) JPEG, it must be overriding the settings I have in "External Editing Preferences"..?
    Many thanks, Steve

My problem is not the master file name but the random names. Lets say the original file name is _DSC0058 and I have done a rename of this project and the new file name is Jeanne 05. When I send it to CS3 it comes back Jeanne 006.
I am currently rebuilding my library because this problem is not happening in all projects.
