Export into multiple formats in one single task

Ever so often I have to export the same files in various Formats, for example one client wants a small JPG in low quality for layout, a full size JPG in 100% Quality and a DNG in case they still have to make corrections before going to print.
To this day I have to start 3 individual exports to fulfill that task.
Besides the fact that it would be much more comfortable to combine the three into one export with different formats and seperate subfolders - doesn't it take much longer that way?
As the exports start at different times I assume the RAW-files have to be loaded 3 times for each of the exports. Would make quite a difference if one has to export 600-700 images a day.

Hi....I'm having this problem of having multiple reports inside one single report. Basically what i wanted to built is a Dashboard that contains 4 main subjects:i)Sales - Contains graph that can be drill down for further detailsii)Internal Process - Contains tables that can be drill downiii)Profit/Lossiv)HRAs far as i know, since all four are of different fact table data, they cannot be all thrown inside one single report to be built on. So i came out with using subreports instead for each components and then finally putting them all together as subreport inside the main report(Dashboard).However, i just realized that by doing that, whenever i clicked on the reports that i wanted to drill down with, it will prompt that particular report that i clicked into a new page, and then from there only i can perform drill down.Is there anyway to enable me to straight away drill down the Sales and Internal Process reports from the main reports(Dashboard) instead of having to click twice as that will be unnecessary right?Or mayb if there's another better ways to do what I have to do? Please do advise and suggest......Thanks alot.......

doesnt matter or preferrably both, as long as i can export all the reports in 1 page into 1 excel, or 1 pdf.

Yes, You can do it.. With Multiple Export File..it may cause some Performance issue, so need to check your Server configuration before do that..

Sorry, no, the Find/Change function doesn't permit that.
You could export to InDesign Tagged Text and manipulate that text file with an external tool...

Sure, I hope, you are talk about cProject 4.0.
You can create a role, which have different business partner (users) assigned . you can assign then such business partner (one or multiple) to the task.
But you can only have a business parnter as responsible.
Using User-Group is used only for the authorisation aspect.

Select or deselect multiple rows with one single selection event

Does anyone know how to create a JTable which can select or deselect multiple rows with one single selection event in JTable. Fore example, if the table has

row4
row5
row6
What I need is when user select row1 or row2, both row1 and row2 should be set to be selected. Then if user press CTRL and click one of row3 or row4, both of them should be selected including the previouse selected row1 and row2.
For deselection, if row1 and row2 are selected, when users deselect one of row1 or row2, both of them should be deselected.
Hopefully someone can give me a hint.

Here is a partial solution using a JList. Only one line gets highlighted when the user makes a selection in the list. But, two lines are returned. There is a blank line between every two lines.

SharePoint 2013 - SPD Custom Workflow keeps sending multiple emails for a single Task

I have a workflow triggering on List item created only. There are multiple stages in the work flow and in each stage a single task is assigned to a group of people. Currently group is only having one user i.e. my own test user with a valid email address.
Workflow was running fine for first 5 runs but now it keeps sending multiple emails for each task multiple times and runs very slow. I have only single workflow in development server with 24GB RAM.
Enabling the Workflow log in Event viewer does not show any error or warnings. The only clue I see is WorkFlowManager Database table "DebugTrace" having multiple entries showing that WF is trying to send same email multiple times with failed attempts,
but in reality emails are being delivered as well.

Importing CSV files into Multiple Tables in One Database

I have a web based solution using Microsoft SharePoint and SQL Server that is created to centralize dat collection and reporting of program metrics used in montly reviews.
A person from each program enters dat manual or by pushing the data using automated data import tools. The user then is able to generate reports and provide presentations to their stakeholders.
There are are programs that are located in US and 2 that are located in Japan. All, including programs in Japan use the MS Project with a plug-in tool that allows them to auto input data. When the user click the "Send To.." button, the data goes
in to multiple tables in one database.
Everything is set up exactly the same for every program; however, we have discovered becase of a firewall, along with some of the different settings that the MS Project has over in Japan, the 2 program users are not able to auto import their data.
The suggestion is to have the program users export the MS Project file into a CSV and email it. I will then take it and convert the data, such as the dates and place them on a Network Drive. There will be 2 folders, one for each program.
I feel it will be an easy process just to load the data from the Network Drive into the same tables that are created for auto import.
My Concerns/Questions:
1. Should I create 1 SSIS package or should there be 2, one for each program?
2. US and Japan program users send their data once a month. The converted files are going to be saved in the location marked with a date (ex:201402). How can i have it to where SSIS will automatically load the data every time i place new files in the designated
folders or when i update an exsisting file?
Can you provide an example with your suggestion please?

There will be 2 folders, one with files with Program A data and the other with files with Program B data. All will have the same fields, just coming from different programs. You stated that I will be able to to load both in one package. Would there be two
paths since there will be two separate folders?
Using the example you provided, i am confident that I can create the package using one path into one table but not sure how to get the files from 2 paths (if there is) into multiple tables.
Can you help clarify this for me?

Multiple databases in one single RAC cluster

Hi, I would like to know if one can have multiple databases running on a single RAC cluster, we have several databases in our shop and would like to consolidate all of them into a single 3-4 node RAC cluster running databases with 10.2 and 11.1 versions.
I am newbie to RAC and would like to get some clarification if anyone has done this, google search comes up with few hits on this topic, so obviously this is not doable.
In our case we have one database supporting critical applications and few other not so critical but are used very extensively between 9-5, so what is the use of RAC if I cannot consolidate all my databases into one cluster, or if I need a separate cluster for each of these critical databases?
I have been all the Oracle docs that keep repeating one database multiple instances and one instance-one machine-one node, they don't even advise running multiple instances on a single node?.
I appreciate any insight.

My issue is with the 2nd option - running more than one instance on the same node or server. Why? Each time you do, you need to reduce the amount of resources that can be used by each instance.
So instead of using (for example) 60% of that server's memory as the SGA for a single instance, if you use 2 instances on that server you now have to reduce the SGA of each to 30% of system memory. Effectively crippling those instances by 50% - they will now have smaller buffer caches, require more physical I/O and be more limited in what they can do.
So unless you have very sound technical reasons for running more than one instance on a server (RAC or non-RAC), do not.

WAD 7.0 - Export into multiple excel sheets

Hello all,
I try to export an infofield (with filter values) and analyse table from WAD to excel. But after export both web items, infofield and analyse table, are in the same excel sheet. How can I export the infofield and analyse table in the different excel sheets?
I suppose, that the export will be executed on java-stack with java functionality. In WAD I can only define the parameters for the command "EXPORT". Is it possible to enhance this java coding?
May be, the export to multiple sheets is possible with Web Items "Javascript" or "Custom Extension" with ABAP-Class?

But I think this is not the solution for my problem.
I try to explain my problem again. I have a web template with filter, analyse table and infofield. The infofield contains the selected filter values. There is also a button for export into excel. In WAD 7.0 you have only to set several parameters for the export command and the export to excel works. However all web items will be transfered into the first excel sheet among one another.
Is it possible to export one web item into the first excel-sheet and the second web item into the second excel-sheet of the same excel workbook?

the parent and child tables has 1 to many relationship.
its like for department id i have many employee_id's.
in my scenario ,
i have to give values to both parent and child tables at a time on one single click on add button. and after clicking on one single save button i should be able to commit the data into database for both the tables at a time.
its similar like a hire a person in fusion applications , when you clinked on hire person. all the related tables populated to give data and on one single save committing data to database.
please help in this. and its my urgent requirement for my application design.

I assume you are using ADF BC as your business components. Now if both your Master and Chail VO are instances of the same AM, the commit operation of the AM will take care of it. You just have to drag and drop the commit operation as a Save button in your page

RECORD CODES in column definition are used to differentiate between different record types that are put in a same file.
The premise here is that the file contains records of different record types and a field in the file identifies the record type. eg. A file contains 2 record types with different formats.

A,101,'CMP', 'IDVHere the first field identifies the record type - A or B. So, in the ODI data store, you use A or B in the record code field of the column definition of the data-store.
ODI automatically, gets the records matching the record code specified in the definition of the data-store.
So, you will create 2 data-stores, one with record code = A (4 columns) and other with record code = B (8 columns)

Inserting into multiple tables on one form using UIX

We are developing an application using struts and UIX. We would like to be able to insert into three tables on one form(view). How can we accomplish this?

This is more of an ADF question, you'll need to set up view object, than just drag it from the data control palette like normal.
If it's not already set up as a view in the db (split into multiple tables), you'll need to create a view object that includes all the fields you want, based on multiple entity objects.

Mixing Multiple Formats Onto One Timeline

I am currently editing a reel of my material and was wondering the best way to mix multiple formats together. The two that I need to go onto the same timeline are dvcpro hd which was shot 720p at 24 frames per second and apple pro res ntsc with a telecine pulldown on it. Should I through the 720p footage through compressor, if so what should i export it as? thanks

One way to do it:
Use Compressor to make the HD movie 16x9 SD(853x480) 29.97 ProRes or PRHQ.
