Export option in Apps menu is not working in Windows-XP OS

We have standard export option (File -> Export) in 11i oracle applications to download records from tabular block to spread sheet. We are facing problem with Windows XP OS, it will run upto export but the "fnd_gfm.tsv" is not opening (the file disappear after process is completed). any one can help me to overcome this problem.

Please verify the following, and check then:
- Add the application URL to the trusted sites list (From IE, go to Tools > Intetrnet Options > Security > Trusted Sites).
- Turn off any pop-up blockers (IE, Google, MSN, AOL, Yahoo, .. etc).
- From Windows Explorer, go to (Tools > Folder Options > File Type), make sure that files with tsv extension opens with Microsoft Office Excel.

I am trying to export Crystal Report to HTML format using VB.NET code. Functionality is working fine at Windows XP Environment (Save to Disk, Open an Application and Email Attachment). But the same functionality is not working at Windows 7 Environment (both 32-Bit as well as 64-Bit).

How Export option in Apps menu work?

Hi All
We have standard export option (File -> Export) in 11i oracle applications to download records from tabular block to spread sheet.
Now in one worksheet we can store around 60000 rows. In case our query fetches more than 70000 records, and we export and save to spread sheet. Would this facility will store first 60000 records in first worksheet and rest in another worksheet OR would it throw error.
Any one tried this option?? if it throws error, please let me know how to resolve this?

i never tried it but you can install the new office 2007 the excel can tack up to 1 million records per sheet. i guess that should solve your issue.
plz if you tired to export on excel 2000 (only handle 60000 regords) let us know how it handle it.

Ue_filter in menu is not working pb7 window

We have included ue_filter (pfc) option in a menu in all the windows.
I got an issue in one window, that the ue_filter option is not working.
when i click the filter icon in the toolbar its not working...
i just compared with the working window...i didnt find any difference between them.
what might be the reason of this ue_filter, for not working particularly in one window.

I would suggest that you use the PB debugger and set a break point in the above script on the "PostEvent" command and again in the actual "PE" script. Hitting the break point on the PE command means that its about to fire the UE OK and then in the UE_Filter event itself, you can step through the code to see what is actually happening.

I found the answer to my own question. For anyone else having these issues: push control and option keys anf then delete all 3 together and photos and videos will be delted.

This answer wasn't easy to find and once I did find it there wasn't a fix other then to turn off Actual Window Manager. I found the fix if you want to continue using Actual Window Manager:

# Add New Window Rule
# In the "Target Window" Settings for this rule select Firefox as the "Program"
# Go to the "Start-up" Settings beside "Target Window" Settings

STEP #7 SOLVES THE PROBLEM

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

You are using a Spry menubar widget. Spry was created pre-touch-screen systems and hence not designed for touch screens.
There are a number of solutions available to you
1. Don't have an active link on the main menu item
2. Place submenus in the page that is opened by the main menu item, e.g. as a vertical menu
3. Use Spry Menu Bar ver 2.0
3. Use a different menu system that is geared to accommodate touch screens
Because of the demise of Spry, see here http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2012/08/update-on-adobe-spry-framework-availability.htm l, option 3 looks like the best option.
There are a number of free-of-charge jQuery menubars, you could also opt for one of the commercial menubars such as PVII, WebAssist or DMXZone

What do you mean it won't save date? What exactly are you pressing and what happens or doesn't happen?
Try this:
Open the Calendar App and Tap Calendar at the bottom of the screen. Make sure all calendars have checkmarks, then Tap Done. Do your events show up now?

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

If not then you will either need to enter credit card details (you should be able to delete the card after entering it) or create a new account, and use the instructions on that HT2534 page when creating it.
