Export to PDF from VC does not work

Hello experts,
I tried to use the system command to export the VC data to PDF. However instead of opening the pdf file, it opens the selection screen of the BI query. Can anyone help to check the link I used as a hyperlink (as perovided in the SAP how to document)

Export to PDF from Infoview does not show correct data - CRS 2008

I have a problem where users attempt to export a report from the Infoview interface to a PDF. The report shows correctly in Infoview while in Crystal Reports format, but when the use exports the data, the data changes and shows different values. To troubleshoot, I have tried this on different clients - without a change in the result. I have also pulled the latest instance of the report from this history on the Central Management Console. Interestingly enough, the same thing happens when I export to a PDF from there as well. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can't tell you offhand on what the issue is here, as various factors come into play.
Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Try opening the report in Crystal Report designer and export to pdf from there. Does this work?
- Instead of viewing the report and export; schedule a report to PDF and check the results.
- there is currently a know issue in regards of certain formulas and using font type "arial Unicode MS" that gives incorrect export to pdf. Maybe alter the font used.. or see if you take out any questionable formulas and try again to export.

Export as pdf from safari does not save correctly

I used to be able to print a page and save it as pdf. When I do this the page saved is blank. What is going on? This is since updating to Mavericks.

It happened in Firefox as well and the preview image in the print dialog box was blank. Trashing two adobe pdf plug ins from the /libraryInternet/plug-ins fixed my issue. I am not sure if this will cause me issues in Adobe Creative Suite but so far it looks okay. I am not sure what you mean by /applications/utilities/console How do I get look at the console? I opened the application and I have no idea what to make of the Console.

Creating pdf from clipboard does not import images or formatting

Creating PDF from clipboard works perfect in acrobat X however in acrobat XI no images are imported and the text just defaults to times roman font. My wife uses acrobat for her craft patterns and copies from the web all the time with no issues in Acrobat X. She tried it on Acrobat XI and it just looks like garbage. The text is there but the images that were copied along with the text are not. I have examples that she did using the exact same clipboard in both X and XI.

Yes, the procedure for copying info to the clipboard is similar for a Mac and a PC. No, you are not missing anything. All of the web page parts are in the clipboard. The problem is that only the text is showing up when I use the create PDF from clipboard option in AA XI. I do not have a graphics package installed; however, if I paste the clipboard contents into Word, both the text and graphics show up.
I checked the PDF created with my AA XI and found the text as text and the the graphic as graphic, not simply a graphic as you suggested. Is it possible the graphic is shown with a place holder or just space for the graphic. If that is the case, check the preferences that you have "view large images" turned on.
As I explained ad nauseum, the PDF I try to create with AA XI using create PDF from clipboard does not include the graphics; it only has the text. I just checked the preferences and "view large images" is turned on. I could not find any other preference settings that would seem to help with the problem I am having.
I can paste the clipboard contents directly into Word and print the document to a PDF. When I do that, though, I usually have to spend a lot of time editing the Word document, because the contents are not in the same format. The paragraphs are usually squashed together, or the photos are too large and I have to change the size. This just takes up more time than I have to spend.
The bottom line is that it seems to me Adobe must have changed something in the Mac version of AA XI that causes it to not work the same way it does in AA X. The PC version is obviously okay, because you are able to get the feature to work.
I guess I am going to have to give up on this problem and stick with using AA X.

PDF Preview Handler does not work

We installed Outlook 2010 on a new Windows 7 32bit machine with Acrobat Reader X.
The preview handler for PDF files does not work in Outlook 2010. Reader works fine by itself.
If I uninstall Reader X and install verison 9.3 then the Preview Handler works fine. Any suggestioers? I have run the repoair on Office and reinstalled Reader X again but to no avail.

Adobe Create PDF Desktop Printer does not work, receive error mail

the program to print adobe does not work. does not print from the internet. txt file does not print. Word does not print. does not send the documents to print and the e-mail always arrives unsupported file. impossible because there are the list of file types that I want to print. fake

HT3669 hp deskjet all in one 4488 printer software downloaded from apple does not work

The printer software for HP Deskjet all in one F4488 downloaded from Apple support for OS 10.8.2 does not work. The problem is that the software is not available at the HP support site only.

Your apparently older Model needs to use Apple's "Print & Scan" which is found in Applications>System Prefernces>Print & Scan. There you will follow the following instructions from the HP Support site to Scan, for instance:
Place the item that you want to scan on the scanner glass, or load it into the automatic document feeder (ADF) if your printer has one.
Click the Apple menu ( ), and then click System Preferences .
Click Print & Scan ( ).
Click your printer in the left pane.
Click Scan , and then click Open Scanner .
Click Show Details . The details of the scan display, including options to change scan settings.Figure 4: Example of the Show Details scanning screen
Change any scan settings as necessary, and then click Scan .NOTE: Make sure to select either the Flatbed mode or the Document Feeder mode, depending on your printer and how you plan to scan.

Using photoshop ver 14.2.1x64 and bridge on a PC.. While in Bridge, I selected 2 pictures, selected tools, photoshop and load files into layers. It does not work. any ideas of how to make it work

Why does Create PDF from Web Page not work with certain URLs?

I'm creating a large number of PDFs from Web Pages on Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and occasionally come across certain URLs that fail to generate a web page. The process begins as normal but eventually the status window lists a few errors or canceled processes and that there are now 0 Connections Active. This only occurs for certain URLs, but when it happens it consistently fails for that URL (as in trying it a few mroe times doesn't let it work). Is there any specific reason this happens or a way I can prevent it? The above example is of a URL that fails to generate a PDF :

This has to be considered a legatimate bug, especially since IMAGE MAPS is listes as one of the supported HTML features via the help files

IIOP connection from JDeveloper does not work

I'm trying to run some sample EJB programs but cannot connect to the IIOP port from JDeveloper. I have installed Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise on my machine, and it includes a listening location for IIOP on port 2481 under the listener. I can connect to JServer on this database from DBA Studio using various user/passwords, so the IIOP connection seems to work in principle.
But when I try to set up an IIOP connection from JDeveloper (v.3.1.1.2), the "Test" button fails to connect, but does not give any details on the reason for the error.
I have tried using the command line utility sess_sh, but this fails telling me the URL is invalid, even though it is exactly the same as the URL I connected to in DBA Studio.
Why can I connect from DBA Studio but not from JDeveloper, and can anyone tell me how to get this connection to work?
(It shouldn't be this hard to get a simple "Hello world" EJB to work!)

You must use Jdev 3.2.x to communicate with RDBMS 8.1.7.
Jdev 3.1.x.x is for RDBMS 8.1.6.

XSD from PI does not works in Syndicator.

I created a data type in PI then made a XSD out of It ,when i try to import that in Syndicator i don't get any root element for it. but if i tweak the XSD just a little bit. it works perfectly in syndicator.
I understand MDM has some limitations in terms of XSD attributes it uses.

Hello Saif,
have a detailed look at your XSDs.
The first one does not define any root element. It contains the definition of a complex type only. But there is no element that is using the complex type "DT_Sender". That is the reason why Syndicator does not show any root element for selection.
The second one is different. This one defines an element "DT_Sender" that consists of a complex type. Now Syndicator is able to show the element.
If you want to use the first definition you have to add an element using the complex type. It could look like:

Some further tipps and tricks:
1) If you need the xmlns="http://mc.com/MDM/CustomerMaster" in your XML, it makes more sense to add this in the Syndication map properties. There is a field for the namespace where you should paste the http://mc.com/MDM/CustomerMaster part.
2) xmlns:xsd definitions don't have to be mentioned for each element. If you do this in the schema, it's ok.
3) MDM does not handle annotations in the XSD. You can remove them.
So a perfect XSD could look like

Bug Report: "View PDF After Saving" Does Not Work When Saving as Photoshop PDF

The saved PDF file is not opening in Acrobat after saving a file as a Photoshop PDF. I noticed it happening a few times in earlier beta testing, but today it happened again.
I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.2 installed on MacPro with Lion OS 10.7.3. Photoshop public beta m415. System info can be provided if needed.
The file I was trying to save was about 8 MB. Once it failed to open after save, I tried varied PDF settings and save locations. Also tried several different files. All were saved properly as PDF files, but would not continue to open in Acrobat as previous versions have done. The files open properly when you click on the file names in saved location.

I'm happy I could help and feel a bit proud to have found a real bug. The simplest work around is just clicking on the file list once it's done...that's certainly not a problem.
