  • How to export and import customized Object

    Hi All,
    I would like to communicate with system clipboard by importing and exporting the Objects.
    Assume that i have a RectangleBean object containing x,y,width and height properties and respective setters and getters.
    i am drawing the rectangle object by using the RectangleBean object values.
    now i want to export and import the RectangleBean object to system clipbord to draw a rectangle on other window when the user performed paste functionality. In other words communicating the RectangleBean objects between the two windows.
    Thanks in Advance

That's not going to work: if you are talking past the bean object into the clipboard and have something like MS-Word use it as a way of recreating your graphic using your bean... no, that's just not going to happen.
    If you are saying you want to create another of your graphics on another Java window in the same JVM session, then just pass a reference of the window's graphic context to a setter and have at it.
    If you're talking about some JEE functionality, then you're going to have to use RMI or some other standard method to get your object over to the other box or it's effects.
    In other words communicating the RectangleBean objects between the two windows.Not by cutting and pasting to the clipboard.

  • How to export and import the lsmw

    Hi Friends,
    How to export and import the objects in lsmw
    from dev to qas(quality) systems........
    its urgent.........
    regards,
    venu.

    best way is to create a transport and move it to other enviroments
    There are two ways of Transporting for this. Can choose any one.
    Goto the LSMW Transaction
    1)Extras>Export Projects>(Give the Project name)
    In next screen(Choose what subproject, routines, etc.. you wan to copy then, Export Rules-->Export((Will prompt for file name)
    A text file will be downloaded.
    In the Target System
    Goto LSMW Extras-->Import Projects and give the text file which was downloaded.
    2)Extras-->Generate Change Request
    Assign a change request which is basically a transport request and you can then get this transported from one system to another through the basis route.

  • Export and Import of Configuration Data

    Hi All,
    I have created a number of custom properties, structures, groups, renderers, layout sets etc and would like to move them from Dev to Test system.
    I have found the following in the help doco:
    "Export and Import of Configuration Data"
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e1/029c414c79b25fe10000000a1550b0/content.htm
    However I am unable to see its functionality in our portal systems (namely the Actions->Export and Actions->Import functions).
    Our version of Portal is: 6.0.9.6.0
    KM: 6.0.9.3.0 (NW04 SPS09 Patch3)
    Therefore we should be able to see it? no?
    Are there any special settings to see these buttons?
    Cheers,
    Vic

    Thanks for your replies.
    OK, so in otherwords, it is not available in SP09 and only in SP12+.
    So, to "transport" this information I will have to manually reapply thes settings in the Test system!

  • Export and Import of BI Objects

    Hello.  I am trying to move existing BI objects (defined in RSA1) from an internal SAP IDES demo system to an offline, standalone NW 2004s BI system that is on a laptop.  Essentially I want to export the objects that already exist in the IDES system and Import these objects onto the laptop 2004s system so that I do not have to re-create them all.  Could someone please give me their opinion as to the best way to do this?
    I have tried the Export as XML from the Metadata Repository with mixed results.  InfoObjects seem to work but an InfoCube did not due to an error with SAP object 0CALDATE.  Also, when you Export as XML from the Metadata Repository you have to know all the Class ID's of the various BI objects (com.sap.bw.cwm.core.InfoObject) - how do I find out what the other class id's are, for example, ODS, InfoPackage, MultiProvider, etc.??
    I have also been told that a transport saved as a file would also work.
    Can anyone help?
    Regards,
    Anthony

    Please use another forum. This is SAP NetWeaver BI Accelerator only ...
    Thanks,
    Alex

  • Connection for added/updated objects during export and import

    Hi,
    Plz help me..
    During export and import of updated/added objects to production,
    do we need to create the dataservers manually or else how can it be managed for an existing object???
    Thanks..

    eg AD_CTX_DDL
    APPS_ARRAY_DDL
    APPS_DDL
    ORA-20000 APPS_DDL/APPS_ARRAY_DDL package(s) missing or invalid in schema CTXSYS (Doc ID 944150.1)
    CS_KB_CTX_PKG. I think these are packages.Run the following scripts from $CS_TOP/patch/115/sql directory:
    cskbdstb.pls
    cskbdsts.pls
    Also I am missing certain privileges on packages given to system and application users by sys eg DBMS_SHARED_POOL. I have already executed adgrantsHave you run recreate grants and synonym from adadmin?

  • Re-importing Configuration Objects

    experts!
    I have imported Configuration Objects from .tpz files in Integration Directory. Because of those objects where unable to activate, I did a reject change and all objects were gone. When I try re-import from the same .tpz file, it is not showing in the file list. The .tpz file is there in the import folder of directory.
    Please help me to re-import objects from .tpz file.
    thanks
    nikhil

    Hi,
    Here we have to consider some points while Exporting & Importing the .tpz files.
    1)Once you export that configuration objects, the tpz file will be created at Export DIR.
    2)From there we have to copy that file into Import DIR.
    3)Once You import the tpz file from Import DIR or faild to Import DIR means those files will be moved to Imported Files DIR.
    4) Now if we are looking to import those again means , they will not be available to import in ID.
    So we have to copy that file again from the Export DIR and Paste it inImport Folder

  • Exporting and importing non-sealed MPs to another environment

    Hello,
    I have a task to rebuild SCOM environment, replace SCOM 2007R2 with 2012R2, there are a lot of MPs with groups of monitoring objects, overrides for some monitors and rules, is it possible to import these MPs to the new SCOM after agent
    installation to save all configuration? These objects are saved in the MPs with GUIDs, I think these GUIDs will be changed in the new management group, so I need to create these groups and overrides again, yes? What can I export from old MG and import
    to the new MG automatically to reduce manual work? I have found script which can export and import membership of security groups, also all subscribers and notifications are saved in the non-sealed MP. Also I have found small post with information to save
    favorite and scheduled reports by backing up and restoring ReportServer database.

    Hi,
    Yes, we can import saved MP to the new management group to use those saved overrides and groups.
    I would like to suggest you follow the link below to do side by side migration from SCOM 2007 to SCOM 2012:

  • IDM export and import commands

    Hi,
    I am trying to export and import some of the objects in IDM using command line interface.
    Eg: I have an user Object which needs to be exported in the form of an XML file using command line and make some changes and import the user object xml back to IDM using a command line interface
    I am very new to IDM. Any help regarding this would be useful.
    Thanks,
    Hsotnas
    Edited by: Hsotnas on Sep 18, 2007 7:17 PM

    Actually it can. There are a few ways to achieve this but one is.
    1. List Objects > ListFile
    2. read ListFile to write commands to CommandFile i.e ListFile might contain:
    Configuration SPE
    EndUserForm MyForm
    then this script (perl or whatever) would convert this to the following in CommandFile
    "getObject Configuration SPE > SPE.xml"
    "getObject EndUserForm MyForm > MyForm.xml"
    3. run lh console < CommandFile

  • Language Problem while exporting and importing data

    hi,
    I have Oracle version 8.1.7.0.0 installed on one server and 9.2.0.1.0 installed on new server.
    I'm copying and pasting my version info from SQL*Plus:

    I created new user on my new server from enterprise manager.
    Exported user from the old server and imported in the new server.
    i.e: from Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.7.0.0, I did
    c:\>exp system/manager file=abc.dmp owner=abc
    Then on the new server Release 9.2.0.1.0, I did
    c:\>imp system/manager file=abc.dmp fromuser=abc touser=abc
    I'm using Arabic Language on my both servers. NLS_LANG parameter on both the servers is AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252.
    On both the servers I'm able to insert and select data in arabic.
    However, after I export the data from old server to the new server, the arabic data comes in question marks.
    If I create new table and insert arabic data on new server's user abc it is displaying well. Only the data which I exported and imported is not showing arabic.
    On both old and new servers operating system is Windows XP.
    I'm stuck with this problem. Anybody having any idea about how to solve this problem please help.
    Thank you all in advance.
    Regards

    Let me be clear here. Storing Arabic data in a WE8MSWIN1252 database is not supported by Oracle and will lead to problems. You are incorrectly using the NLS_LANG to prevent proper conversion and your data appears to be okay when you use utilties like SQL*PLUS to view your data. When you write applications that don't rely on the NLS_LANG like JDBC thin driver for instance you will realize your data is in fact invalid. To learn more about the NLS_LANG you can take a look at this FAQ: http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/globalization/htdocs/nls_lang%20faq.htm
    To migrate your database to a proper character set you can refer to this paper:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/globalization/pdf/mwp.pdf
    But please do not ask for help in supporting your current configuration in this forum.

  • Exporting and Importing Destination Controls Error

    When I export table within destination control and import the table to another Ironport again within destination control I receive error - "Wrong format of the destination config file: ip_sort_pref is required for the global settings."
    We are updating the ASYNC on each of our de clustered Ironport.  So when one is not in use we need the other to handle all the traffic, including domain controls.
    The output displays
    [ABCDE.com]
    max_host_concurrency = 500
    limit_apply = system
    limit_type = host
    max_messages_per_connection = 50 ......
    How can I import this without losing or altering the data within.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    Solution
    We upgrade one of our SMTP ASYNC to 8.0.1 which creates a additional line within default of the upgraded Ironport exported control destination table that is named... wait for it.... ip_sort_pref. Just add it.

    The applications and drivers have been imported into the Dev SCCM server however I cannot find the actual content so I am not sure this has worked properly.
    When you exported did you choose to "Export all content for selected task sequence and dependencies".
    80070003 = The system cannot find the path specified.
    See here for exporting and importing task sequences

    Hi I am running SCCM 2012 SP1 and am trying to export a Task Sequence including with the Windows 7 wim, the boot wim, some applications and drivers.  When I exported the TS I selected to export dependencies and content.
    I have setup dev SCCM environment (same spec as production) and am trying to import the .zip that was created when I completed the export.  When doing the import I am getting the below error on both the Windows 7 wim and the boot wim :
    Error Imported Operating System Image (1):
    Create new Windows 7 Enterprise x64
    Generic failure
    instance of SMS_ExtendedStatus
     Description = "Failed to get the image property from the source WIM file due
    to error 80070003".
     ErrorCode= 2147942403;
     File="e:\\nts_sccm_release\\sms\\siteserver\\sdk_provider\\smsprov\
    \sspimagepackage.cpp";
     Line = 483;
     Operation = "Putinstance";
     ParameterInfo = "";
     ProviderName = "ExtnProv";
     StatusCode = 2147749889;
    The applications and drivers have been imported into the Dev SCCM server however I cannot find the actual content so I am not sure this has worked properly.  I am wondering if I would be better off using the Migration wizard to take the TS and
    content across.  Would appreciate any advice on either a) how to fix the issues with the importing of the TS or b) whether I should just be using the migration wizard.
    Thanks
    G

    When you exported did you choose to "Export all content for selected task sequence and dependencies".
    80070003 = The system cannot find the path specified.
    See here for exporting and importing task sequences

  • Error in importing Configuration objects of PI 7.0 to PI 7.1

    Hi All,
    My server is upgraded from PI 7.0 to PI 7.1.
    I am getting Error while  importing Configuration objects of PI 7.0 to PI 7.1 now.
    Pls see the below error
    Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed. Detailed information:  com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Attempt to read object Adapter Metadata Mail | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System, type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed. Object does not exist. Detailed informatio n: Software component version with key ID: b38bcd00e47111d7afacde420a1145a5 not found
    Pls suggest

    Hi,
    It seems that adapter metadata has not been loaded into integration repository and because of that when you are trying to import configuration objects in ID then you are getting the error.
    The SAP adapter metadata objects are located under the namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/System of software component SAP BASIS.
    What you can do is, if you have installation dvd's then you can copy from their or you can simply [_DOWNLOAD_|https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000001943&_EVENT=SEARCH&HIDE=&SEARCH_SPAT=X&SEARCH_BPAT=X&SEARCH_CD=X&SEARCH_P=X&SEARCH_PV=X&SEARCH_C=X&SEARCH_CV=X&SEARCH_TA=&SEARCH_V=&HIDE_EXPERT_SEARCH=X&SEARCH_MAX_RESULT=20 ] from sap market place (refer this [thread|how to import Adapter metadata;) (you must have S-user id for this) and then after you need to do as mentioned below...
    1. First unzip the file (if it is zipped) and then put it in the import directory: \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\
    2. Now login to IR and then from menu TOOLS ---> Import design objects and import it.
    3. After that in ID, Environment ---> Clear SLD Data Cache
    4. Now you can try to import configuration objects...

  • DHCP Server does not work after Exporting and Importing Using Netsh Command

    Hello Friends :
    I had two dhcp servers in windows server 2003 server , I have upgraded one of them to windows server 2008 32 bit and again i installed a windows server 2008 R2 as an additional Domain Controller , the last scenario was like this :
    srv-1 : windows server 2003 + DHCP = working with no problem
    srv-2 : windows server 2003 + DC + DHCP = Worked without problem
    srv-3 : windows server 2008 R2 + DC = worked without any problems
    I exported the DHCP server configuration on the srv-2 using netsh dhcp server export and Imported them to srv-3 using the
    netsh dhcp server import command , the command completed successfully and i can see all of the scopes without any problems and errors , i have authorized the new server without any problem , all scopes are activated without any problem so i
    disabled the srv-2 DHCP service and unauthorized it from active directory , the problem is that the new server semms that does not lease any address to clients !!!
    1- I have authorized it
    2- I used Rogue Checker tool in client computers they see authorized server without any problems
    3- The same tool in workgroup only shows srv-1 as the DHCP server and does not see other DHCP servers
    4- Bindings are OK and DHCP servers only have one NIC installed on them
    What can i do to make sure my srv-3 DHCP server will work on the network ?
    thanks ...
    MIMO

    Are the clients on another network so you need to configure a DHCP relay agent?
    If you load up perfmon on the dhcp server and remove all counters and then add DHCP counters. Do you see any dhcprequests when you reboot your dhcp clients? This will determine if your server actually receives any dhcp requests.
    Have you check event viewer for any warnings or errors?
    And the classic one restarted the dhcp server service (or reboot)?
