Exporting to PDF without clicking any button

Hi,
Is there a way we can export the output of the WEB report to PDF without having to hit a button "Export to PDF"?
The moment I open the report, the contents should get exported to PDF in a new window which I can print later.
Please share your ideas.

I only use this 5th generation Shuffle when I run. I don't have headphone issues because I use running headphones meant to handle sweat. However, my Shuffle will, halfway through a song, go back to the beginning, play a few seconds and jump back to the beginning again. Also, when this starts happening, the Voice-over comes on again and again with no buttons being pushed. I keep the Shuffled clipped to the waistband of my running shorts, so it probably does get a little sweatty, but not like it would if it were clipped to the collar of my shirt!
Is this a problem I'm going to have to live with? I never had this issue with my old Shuffle, which was the first of the clip-on Sheffles.

Are you using the beta? it's not fully secure, so try using Firefox 3 instead. If you are already using Firefox 3, it seems like what Firefox is saying is correct- the site is not supplying identity information. So what you could do is go to that exact site, then click on the little golden lock at the very corner of the page. Then, enter the 'permissions' tab and allow everything. Exit, and then try bookmarking the page!

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

well if you are filling some textfields you can do a onchange call so you can submit the form, or use any of the existing functions to do that.

Why is there a delay after clicking any button when publishing to iOS?

When I publish to HTML5, the app seems to run fine on my PC via a web browser. However, when I submit for iOS there is a very noticable delay after clicking any button. It takes at least 1-2 seconds for the next slide or object to appear. This might make it difficult to get the app approved when I'm finished. Please let me know if there is a workaround for this.

I get the same results in a browser or as an app; I also seem to have the same problem on the Android Glaxaxy II (in browser). I do not have this issue on any PC. Here is the link: http://www.anacore.com/demo/
I'm using buttons to Jump to Slide or Go to Next Slide. I am also using buttons to show/hide using advanced actions (under Easy to Use -> Easy Widgets). Pleaes let me know if you have suggestions for resolving the lag.

no, the songs just stop, it does not turn off or turn on, the songs stop, and then i press the play/pause button and it continues playing but then it stops again many times, may be it will fix without help but it is a little annoying, also when i reset the ipod it fix just for a little time then it continues stoping.

How can I make hyperlinks work in InCopy when I export to PDF without using InDesign?

I created an InCopy document with hyperlinks linking to other InCopy documents. When I exported to PDF, these hyperlinks don't work. Is there any way I can make these hyperlinks work without using InDesign? Thanks.

Terrible idea. In a JPG the text will not be alive, you loose all interactivity.

I have used Firefox for about 7 years. No issues...
I recently installed Ghostery add on.
The only way to describe it is:
I go to a page..
Click a link (or close to it) or enter or any other button/link that would take me to what I expect..
BUT instead it opens a new tab to an advertisement site (quibids, P&G, many other random ads) - a few of them I blacklisted with BLOCKSITE (installed after the problem started happening) but several I can't because I would actually use them when I need to (ex: Vistaprint.com)
When I go back to the original site and click the same link and click it again it works as intended.
This happens across all sites that I am on...
It is like there is a hidden link within the one I am clicking on.
I have pop ups blocked in my browser but this gets around it somehow.
Since GHOSTERY installed, some sites do not work correctly. If I click on a picture, or something that I want to expand it is as if I am doing nothing at all because it won't complete the action, the functionality is broken.
I have white listed a couple sites but this is random and if I whitelist everything I come across then it opens me back to what I am trying to avoid..
EXAMPLES:
went on Heat.com, clicked the button to go to the White Hot Gear instead it opened a new tab brandonline.com
was on LinkedIn and hit the comment button on a thread, then it opened a new tab vistaprint.com
was on publix.com, hit the order refills button, then it opened a new tab premium-promos.net
did a google search clicked on the link I wanted, it opened a new tab premiumgiftrewards.net
EACH time I go back to the original site and click the same button/link/etc it takes me where expected.

Both Firefox and IE have the same problem. The cursor instead of being a finger when pointing to a link is still an arrow. However I can click anywhere on the page and an ad will pop up. I have eliminated all unwanted bars in Firefox, I ran Malwarebytes until it came out clean. I also have AVG which had detected a few items on it's own. But when I get into Firefox I still have exactly the same problem. Now it will not let me download Browser Safeguard. Usually after one click the pointer returns to normal for a few screens. When I try to click to download Browser Safeguard it keeps bringing up different ads or it tries to get me to upgrade Firefox or some other browser helper program which I know are all BS tactics to get me to load their junk again. PLease help I'm an engineer and pretty good with PCs but this one has me beat at least so far.

How do I export a PDF without the print bleed extra "stuff" around the edges?

I know my question wording sucks, but I didn't know how else to put it.
I created a document in ID for print with a bleed. When I export to PDF, the image is not cropped to the finished size of the page, but includes the excess background images that I extended beyond the page bounds for a bleed. I am now trying to export a PDF that can be sent in email and will not be printed, and so I would like to export a PDF file that does not have any of that extra stuff (I have turned off the printer's marks) around the edges. But my PDF has the excess stuff and a red outline around the actual page dimensions. How do I export a PDF that is cropped to the correct page size (8.5" x 11")?
I have attached the PDF I have created with the excess stuff and the red outline around the page size so you can see what I mean.

i have a problem exporting as a PDF also, i have done this before successfully and i have unchecked all the boxes to turn off bleeds etc, etc... however the bleed area is still coming through. I have tried saving the file under another name, closing down and reopening - nothing seems to work. I'd be very grateful if someone could offer some advice on this.

Cannot click any buttons in Linux

I am running Zorin OS3 (ubuntu) When I get any adobe flash player screens with buttons, I am unable to push any of them, it just ignores my mouse clicks. On things like chat rooms, I am able to type ok, but none of the buttons work. Also the buttons on my webcam secutity screen do not work. All this works fine on my Windows XP Professional boot, but not in Linux. I have all the current display drivers, and flash player.. I have just updated everything, and it still has the same result.

Hi, same here. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Flash player is updated, and I can't klick any buttons. Well, yes, I can, but they don't react. Extremely great in websites where they use only Flash. The strange thing is that it works fine on my husbands computer who uses the same Ubuntu version!
Any idea, anyone? Pleeeease!

I have a crystalviewer that is setup in a table and the report loads fine the first time, but if I click any of the buttons such as next, previous, print, group tree, it will refresh the page. Basically what happens is that their is a custom criteria panels and depending on what report is selected, the panel becomes visible. You select your criteria and click Run Report and that will display your report, but when you click the toolbar, the bottom left of IE shows default.aspx, so it reloads the page and shows you the criteria panel again instead of the next page of the report. Here is code below:

If you have firefox run the Error Console to see what JavaScript errors occured. For developing JavaScript FireBug is a very nice tool. Even if you are not running your forms in Firefox you could write a plain HTML file with your JavaScript code and test it like that. Once it works implement it in your basexyz.html.
Internet Explorer should have a equal functionality too, but as I am not a frequent IE user I can't tell you where to find it.

dvt:hierarchyViewer make error popup close without clicking ok button

I am using Jdev 11.1.1.3.0
In my page I have 2 region, one contains a form which built from a EO Based VO and a commit button. Another region have a <dvt:hierarchyViewer> which is built from another VO to display some hierarchy diagram.
In my page user can edit some information and commit the transaction by clicking the commit button.
Whenever there is some validation fail in the model layer for the information that user edit, I will use below code:

which ADF will handle it as a popup with the error message and display on the UI.
So now the issue is, whenever I click commit button, region that contains <dvt:hierarchyViewer> will shows as "Fetching Data...", and if there is anything failed for this transaction, error popup will appear. However, the popup will not stay and it will disappear even without user clicking ok button whenever <dvt:hierarchyViewer> finish fetching data and display the content. So this is a problem because error message will only display 1 second then it will disappear, user cannot even see what is the error.
If I set render property of <dvt:hierarchyViewer> to be false, now if there is error, the popup will stay there until user click ok button to close it. So the issue definitely related to <dvt:hierarchyViewer>.
My question will be why rendering <dvt:hierarchyViewer> will impact the error popup and make it disappear? And based on my observation, the issue only happen on IE but not on firefox.

Your observation is correct, the conclusion you take out of this not. The hierarchy viewer fetches data asynchronously and at the end refreshes the component, which takes the focus out of the dialog into the page. The default behavior of the popup component is to dismiss when the focus is lost. The options to try and handle this are
1. make sure the commit button has "partialSubmit=true" set so it does not refresh the page and thus the hierarchy viewer as a whole
2. configure the af:messages component to show error messages inline and not as a popup
I would go and try 1 first

Is it possible to export to PDF without a Return character at the end of every line?

I am the author of a book whose first edition has been typeset and extensively amended in InDesign. I now need to rewrite the first edition to produce a second edition.
When I copy-and-paste from the PDF with which the publisher has supplied me into MS Word, I get a Return character at the end of every line, which means that text doesn’t automatically wrap and sentences are fragmented so that I get spurious grammar errors.
I know that not all PDF files have a Return at the end of every line. Is it possible to restrict Returns to the end of paragraphs when exporting from InDesign to PDF? If so, what should the publisher be asking the typesetter to do?

I don't have InDesign myself, so I know hardly anything about how it's used. I'm just trying to research what an internationally-known publisher should already know how to do, but apparently doesn't!
Following your suggestion, Mike, I have downloaded the trial version of Acrobat and exported the PDF to a Word file. This has been moderately successful as there are far fewer spurious Return characters, just a few that I suspect may be hangovers from the typesetter having introduced soft returns in ID.
As you've suggested Peter and Ellis, I'll suggest that the publisher asks the typesettter to export from ID to RTF and Text to see if that's even better.
