Extensions Not Displaying in CS3

Okay, I just realized my Flex Style Explorer problem is
bigger. I just
installed senocular's Patterns and Textures extension, which
should also be
available under Window, and it is not installing either.
Anyone have any
ideas? Yes, I did exit and restart.

In your Start menu, right-click on the Adobe Extension
Manager CS3 and explicitly Run as administrator or they won't
install properly under Vista.
I had trouble installing the Kuler extension, but Rolinstone
solved the problem here:

That should fix it. It worked for me on a couple of
extensions. I'm using CS3 on Vista Home Premium.

Idoc extension not displayed - outbound / INVOIC02

Hi All,
I have created a Extension Idoc ZINV2 , Basic type INVOIC02.
I have added the segment YE1EDK01 ( with 2 custom fields ) under the segment E1EDK01. the message type is INOIC.
The Partner Type is KU and the partner number used is 7000001.
In the Outbound parameters : i have assigned
Partner function as PY
Message type is INVOIC.
Message function is US.
and I am assigning the Basic type and Extesnion type here properly.
The segment and the idoc extension are released.
In VF02 , in OUTPUT i am giving the Output type as YU10 for outout MEDIUM EDI.
The idoc is getting created without any problem. But the Extesnion type is not displayed in the idoc in WE02. the added segment YE1EDK01 is not displayed.
What could be the Problem , i am not able to sort out.
Kindly help me in solving this .
Should we need to do anything in WE57.

Hi,
When you need to add an Idoc extension, it must be appended in INT_EDIDD itab, after the actual segment. hen only it will be picked in the Idoc.
Steps to add extension(Example)::
1. WE31 - Create A segment(ZETEST) with additional fields, that needs to be added.
2. WE20 - Create the Extension(ZORDERS) for the given Basic type.
        2.1    Now add the custom segment(ZETEST) as the child segment to the segment which you want to extend(e.g. E1EDK01)
        2.2    Define the minimum and maximum occurrence
3. Release the custom segment (ZETEST) and the Extension (ZORDERS).
4. WE82 - Assign Basic type to extension / messages
5. WE30 - Check and Transport IDoc extension
                 5.1 Give the Extension Name(ZORDERS)
                 5.2 In the menu Path : Development Object -- >Check (Ensure that there are no errors or warnings)
                 5.3 Now Transport: Path: Development -> Transport
6. WE20 - Now go to the Partner Profile and add the Extension(ZORDERS) in the Message control data and Save it.
7. Go to the Function module for processing the Idoc, and add the code for custom fields.

PhoneGap Build Dreamweaver Extension not displaying correct build state

Starting yesterday the PhoneGap Build Dreamweaver Extension doesn't display the correct build state for Android or Symbian after clicking "Rebuild Application". They always show as Build Queued but if you look at the build.phonegap.com site they have completed the build. I have tried loging out of the screen and logging back in. I have tried closing out of Dreamweaver and reopening. Both sections display correctly until the next time you hit "Rebuild Application".

Ok.
I backed up PGB and deleted the folder.
I created a new empty site and submitted it to Build. Once I reached the Key screen asking for your iOS, Android and Blackberry keys, I clicked continue and recieved the attached error.
I then clicked ok and it added a index.html and config.xml to the empty site. No matter how many times I clicked OK this error would not go away. So then I closed out of dreamweaver and reopened submitted the build again this time I made it past the Key screen but it said I had exceeded the number of Build projects I am allowed. A Project Settings file was never created for the new empty project.
I will send the Project Settings file for the project I am having issues with and the original PGB and the new PGB.

Fireworks CS3 Not Displaying Photoshop CS3 file Exactly

Ok, so I was down to start using Fireworks to do my image
optimization, in fact I was somewhat excited. I heard that
Fireworks CS3 was supposed to load in PSD's seamlessly, support the
layer styles, and all that good stuff.
Well mine doesn't. It does not support clipping layer masks
at all. The opacity and look of my layer styles do not match from
how they look in Photoshop.
Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong? Am I going to
have to completely change my workflow? Or am I going to have to
stick with using ImageReady CS2?
Any help is appreciated.

I have to say that Adobe has done a lot better in CS3
regarding Fireworks compatibility. Adobe used to be downright
hostile to Fireworks users, and now that's not the case, but they
have a LONG way to go before they can claim seemless integration.
There is still a problem with layer blending in Photoshop
translating to Fireworks. When it comes in, it doesn't always
match. The color spaces don't match, either.
Masking is another issue, but I never do my masking in
anything but Fireworks, anymore (for web graphics), because
Fireworks has so many approaches to masking. In Fireworks, you can
draw vector masks (same as creating a path in Photoshop), place an
object inside of a vector (which includes a vector with a gradient,
to create a gradient mask), group layers together as masks, or
paint a bitmap mask on a layer (same as photoshop).
Fireworks is not the same thing as Photoshop. It's become the
best of many web production tools, in my opinion, a best of app
combining Photoshop, Illustrator and Freehand. To become a power
user and truly understand what the diehards are so excited about,
you really need to learn it from the ground up. If you try to
translate what you know from any other program to Fireworks, that
will reduce the real power of the program. You'll need to rethink
how you do pretty much everything, but it really is worth
it.

Adobe Bridge CS3 - does not display thumbnails for Canon 40D or 50D RAW files

I wanted to use Bridge to view my Canon EOS 50D RAW files and it does not display the thumbnails, just icons. I checked my 40D cr2 files and saw same thing.
I have purged the cache and rest the cache preferences and it has not helped. I would like to be abl eto view the thumbnails of the RAW files via Bridge if possible. Jpg files and Tif files can be viewed without any issues.
Am using Bridge version 2.1.1.9 and Pshop CS3 10.0.1

I have the exact same problem. I can view my RAW file thumbnails (which are .ARW files from my Sony A200 camera) in the Finder and in other applications, such as Preview, but not in Adobe Bridge CS3. I know that I did try purging the cache at one point to see if that would fix it, but then I didn't know what to do after that. Before I purged the cache, I was able to view RAW thumbnails in Bridge, but then they would not increase in size when I tried using the slider (at the bottom right of the Bridge window)

Tags in CS3 not displaying correctly

I have pages that displayed correctly in Dreamweaver CS2. In
CS3, the design view is not displaying properly.

Please tell me how to NOT use Spry and still get my pages to

Bridge CS3 Does Not Display Pentax PEF files

I am running Vista and have Bridge CS3 installed on my Notebook. I updated Bridge to v 2.1.1.9 and have added Camera RAW 4.5. My problem is that Bridge does not display Pentax RAW files from a K20 camera (its on the supported list). DNG and JPG files show correctly. Bridge only shows a PEF Icon for each image. When you double click on the Icon, the file opens in Camera RAW 4.5 correctly and also in Photoshop CS3.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to see the PEF images in Bridge?

Revisit the download page, look at the instructions, and make sure you unzipped ACR to the correct folder, and you don't have an ACR in two places.

If you think you're insane now, try maintaining those pop up menus.
As far as I know, these menus have not been updated since FW 8, so
they are at least two versions old.
Save yourself a lot of grief by avoiding those menus. There are many
other products on the market which do a much better job of creating
and maintaining this type of navigation structure.

Background-image of a Design Studio 1.3 extension is not displayed when the control is dragged on the canvas

Hello,
I have a Design Studio Extension with a background image which behave well in Design Studio 1.2.
In Design Studio 1.3 when I drag the control into the canvas the image does not show-up. If I execute the application the image appear in the browser even is not in the canvas.Once I save and reopen the application the image is displayed on the canvas as expected.
I built an extension based on the 'Timer' sample which comes with the DS_13_SDK_Samples ( it has a background image) and it behaves the same way - when you drag the control on the canvas, the image is not displayed.
Any help to solve this issue is much appreciated.

It does start to work once I save and reopen or even when I run.
I tried the inline style but the behavior is much stranger. It does work if I have a full address url to an image, but if my image is part of the control's folder structure it fails completely - it cannot map the right address to the image. The only configuration that appears to work better is the one with the original problem.

The icons for the Personas Plus and Video Download Helper extensions are not displaying on a fresh install of Firefox 3.6.12

I had to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of my up-t0-date Firefox due to another problem (it would only open one window), but after reinstalling my extensions, their icons were not displaying.
I uninstalled and reinstalled again, but the Personas Plus fox will not display in the status bar, and the Video Download Helper icon will not display in the Navigation toolbar, and is not available in the Customize Toolbars menu.
These extensions worked fine before. What's wrong now?

DW8 files not displayed properly in DW CS3

Any help will be greatly appreciated in the following

I've been using Dreamweaver 8 successfully in creating and
maintaining several websites. However, when I try to use the newly
purchased Dreamweaver CS3 on HTML files previously created on DW8,
the files are not displayed properly (all elements are jumbled up
together in the "Design" view). But, when I do a "Preview in
Browser", the pages are just fine.
Has any other DW user had similar experiences and if so, any
solutions?

DWCS3 is much less tolerant of code mistakes than was DW8,
and your symptoms
suggest that this may be the cause of your problems. Do the

Floating fields and fragment subforms in Outlook 2007 do not display correctly

I'm using LCES Forms 8.0 Update 1 to render a non-interactive HTML forms using dynamic content (customer info). The email appears ok in clients except in Outlook 2007.
The Floating text and Text Fields appear multiple times on the form (scattered around their placement point on the form) and the subform fragments are appearing with borders surrounding them.
I have heard that there are issues with Outlook 2007 not displaying HTML correctly. Is there a way to setup the Text Fields/Subforms in Designer so they display correctly in Outlook 2007?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

I have toff situation where we deployed bi dashboards in our site and it works some time and some times not,
and some times it keep loading and throw a login window.

we restart performance point service and if not work
we re create secure store service and generated new key and create new pps service application
before that we stopped secure store and pps service using c.a in application server
we are using ssas for datasource to connect from dashboard designer
we have seperate server for ssas dbs
seperate application server running: pps service and secure store service
two web front ends: one of running secure store
1 Domain controller + central admin service running
some times after 4 -5 hours bi dashboards works , we dashboards not display data and throw un expected errors,
also when we try to connect using a dashboard designer from a seperate client machine in same domain ,we have same issue , we unable to connect to ssas datasource server, and if connect some times unable to deploy dashboards.
we tried every thin icreased server time out values in ssas server

Why is my youtube webpage not displaying properly?

My youtube webpage is not displaying properly. its like tthere is only text and thumbnails and the whle webpage is too damn long. The videos don't play when clicked. Problem on both firefox and chrome. I disabled kaspersky av but it didnt make any difference cuz i thought the firewall mustve been blocking something. check screenshot attached.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Firefox will not display on the screen even though with Process Explorer I see Firefox.exe active but no CPU usage

I use Firefox v10.0.2 as default browser on Dell XPS8300 e/w Intel Core i5 & Windows 7 Ultimate and Compaq Presario CQ57 e/w Intel Core i3 & Windows 7 Home. More frequently on the (about 90% of attempts) than the Dell (50% of attempts) Firefox will not display to the screen when I click on icon. When it happens I cannot display other programs. I specifically say display because I believe Firefox has started. To circumvent the problem I installed Process Explorer on both machines and start this program first then click on Firefox icon. When problem occurs I can see Firefox.exe process in Process list; some CPU consumed but, then, no CPU activity. If I click on Firefox icon again another process opens in Process list but with same response - some CPU consumed and then no CPU activity. If I have 2 processes running and kill the 1st process, the 2nd will display and everything from then on is normal. If I do not open a 2nd process but kill the 1st process then click on Firefox icon Firefox is displayed and everything from then on is normal. This problem has occurred since original installation on both new machines. I've updated video drivers in both machines.

First, if you start Firefox in [[safe mode|safe mode]] (restart your computer first, then when you open Firefox, hold down the shift key) does it start up more reliably? This is usually caused by a faulty add-on. If it does help, then restart Firefox, go into the Firefox button, then add-ons, and disable your extensions one by one until you find the trouble maker.
Also, try updating to Firefox 11, it has several bug fixes that might make life easier here.
Just as a few basic troubleshooting steps to make sure we have all the bases covered,
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.

Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ http://www.malwarebytes.org/]. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. you can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.
