Extract data of a company within the same client.

Hi gurus. If I have more than one company configured in the same client in the ERP, Is there any way to extract data of only one of those companys in order to transfer or copy this information in other ERP?.
I've listened about TDMS but I'm looking for any procedure or tool that ensure that only the data of one company of multiples is extracted.
Thanks a lot!. Greetings from Colombia.

Hi,
Could you please clarify what all data you want to extract. Is it master data ?
Incase you want to extract master data to any external system you can you SAP standard IDOCs using ALE.
Also you can put a filter in the distribution model to filter the extract data only to relvant company codes.
Thanks
Neel

    What could be the posible cause of the error .

    message typ[e---ORDERS
    receiver port----
    basic type -
    ORDERS05
    tick on transfer idoc immediately

  • HR Authorisation Management for different companies in the same client

    Hi,
    Could anyone please help in this....
    My client has two companies. They want to restrict the authorisation to both the companies so that no one can see each other companies data and at the same time access tha data.
    For Eg, there are two payroll officers, each in both the companies, If i give authorisation to run Payroll driver(PC00_M40_CALC), anyone of them can run payroll for any of the companies. (though,their Payroll area is different). There are many restrictions to be maintained like Maintance of Master data, Maintanance of OM structure as assignement of position, running Payroll, viewing the payslip etc...
    How can this all be restricted so that, the respective  companies can view and access their own data without interfering in to the other company.
    I could only find object P_PYEVRUN which helps me restrict to view the created documents of posting for other company code.
    Can anyone put light on how i should proceed further... I heard we can restrict HR master data, but what all i know is we can restrict at infotype level. My problem is, two persons should access PA30(each from different companies), but should not be able to edit other companies data.
    Thanks

    Hi ,
    If you are creating the another company undar the same client . then you can not use different no. range.
    or if you are going different client for different compnay code then you can use different number range for material master.

  • How to make use of adjacent data elements within the same buffer

    Hi,
             Does anyone know how to make use of adjacent data elements within the same buffer? To make my question clearly, I would like to give you an example. In my application, I set "sample to read" as 10 which means at each loop 10 data samples will be taken into a buffer. Now, what I would like to do is to do some calculations on adjacent data samples in same buffer. I tried to use "shift register" for this, but it seemed to me that it only can deal with the calculation between data from adjacent loops. In other words, it skips 9 data elements and take the 10th one for the calculation.
             Here I also attach my VI showing what I did.
        Thank you very much in advance,
                            Suksun

    Hi Suksun,
          I hope you'll forgive me for distilling your code - mainly to understand it better.  I tried to duplicate your logic exactly - which required reversing the "derivatives"-array before concatination with the current samples array.  As in your code, the last velocity is being paired with the first position.  If first velocity is really supposed to be paired with first position, just remove the "Reverse 1D Array" node.
    cheers

  • I bought an iphone 5 about 4 months ago and got applecare. yesterday I had to get on a different plan within the same company so i traded in my phone and got a new iphone 5. can i transfer my applecare to this new phone or would I have to buy it again?

    I bought a 16gb iphone 5 about 3 months ago and got applecare. yesterday I had to get on a different plan within the same company so i traded in my phone and got a new 32gb iphone 5. can i transfer my applecare to this new phone or would I have to buy it again?

    As this is a WW forum with different AppleCrare offerings you need to specify which Country
    as in North America has AppleCare+ and everywhere else AppleCare ,very different products
    So to avoid incorrect guidance suggest you specify Country

  • Retrieve data from other context node within the same context

    Hi Experts,
    I want to redefine method BUILD_TABLE for a table context node and I need to access data from another context node within the same context. I have looked through the methods of class CL_BSP_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_TV but could not find a mean of retrieving the other context nodes.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot. Your help is appreciated.

    Hi Jens,
    Check this [wiki|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=201066680] it should be helpful.

  • How can I start a new paragraph within the same table cell?

    In Numbers, when adding text within a table frame, how can I start a new line within the same frame (rather than advancing to the next cell)?  I'd like to enter a mini-list of several items of various lengths of data.

    While Wayne's answer solves your problem, another possibility is to uncheck the box at the bottom of the Table inspector for "Return key moves to next cell." If that is unchecked, the return key types a paragraph return within the cell (the same as Option Return with the box checked).
    With that box unchecked, Shift Return types a soft return (new line without a paragraph break).

  • XML document structures must start and end within the same entity

    Hi there,
    I'm working with a client/server application and using SaxParser for reading in xml. I get the SaxParserException: XML document structures must start and end within the same entity. I understand what that means, but it isn't applicable! The xml data being used is well-formed. I checked the well-formedness with Stylus Studio to make sure. Here's the data:

  • Using an WD Component twice within the same Component

    Hi all,
    our company has made a WD Component for editing business partners.
    My job is to build a WD Component where two business partners (different roles) are edited within the same window.
    My idea was to make 2 separate component usages of the Business Partner WD Component within my component.
    This just works fine. But there is a problem when mapping the context of both Business Partner-Components into my WD Component. There are always naming conflicts. This is because it is not allowed that there are two nodes with the same name in the context, even if they are in different subnodes. Renaming the nodes after mapping them in my component also doesn't work, because it is not possible to rename nested nodes.
    Does anyone know a solution?
    Kind regards,
    Florian

    Hi Anurag,
    thank you for giving me help. You are right, it is possible to use a component twice within the same webdynpro component.
    But the problem is the context mapping in the target component.
    Let me give you an example.
    This is the context of the twice used component.
    CONTEXT
    |
    |->NODE_1
    |  |
    |  |->SUBNODE_1
    |  |  |
    |  |  |->SUBSUB_NODE_1
    |  |  |  |
    |  |  |  |->ATTRIBUTE_1_1_1
    |  |  |  |->ATTRIBUTE_1_1_2
    |  |  |->SUBSUB_NODE_2
    |  |  |->SUBSUB_NODE_3
    |  |  |->ATTRIBUTE_1_1
    |  |  |->ATTRIBUTE_1_2
    |  |->ATTRIBUTE_1
    |  |->ATTRIBUTE_2
    |  |->ATTRIBUTE_3
    Now, if i map this context (NODE_1) to the target web dynpro component I have a problem. I have to map it twice (one time for each used component), so that i can access both used components. But WebDynpro only allows me to rename the node NODE_1. Mapped subnodes (SUBNODE_1, ...) cannot be renamed. So i cannot map the context of both used components, because there are always naming conflicts. WebDynpro doesn't allow that there are two nodes with identical names within the context, even if they are in different subnodes.
    Is there a solution? We really need one.
    Thanks
    Florian

  • How do I merge external drive images to desk top drive within the same master catalog?

    I have about 900 raw files on an external drive. I edited those files using my master catalog using a laptop while still travelling. When I got home, I copied the master catalog from the external drive to the desk top, then opened the master catalog on my desktop. I can see the edited images on the external drive. So far so good.
    I want to copy (add) the edited images to my desk top. I tried to export the images as a new catalog and then import it into the desire location on my desktop drive. However, LR5 does not allow that. I get this message: "There is nothing new in the catalog you have selected. All of the catalog's photos are up to date in this catalog." Yes, but the edited  images are not on my desktop.....
    I also tried to Import from the external drive and then Copy the files to the desktop, but then I lose all of the work done in the develop module and the keywords.
    I watched Kost's LR 3 video on merging catalogs, but she dodges the question of how to deal with this issue since the "merge" is within the same catalog.
    I'm using LR5 with Windows 7.
    Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated as I've spent hours trying to resolve this problem.

    Okay, so I would copy (not move) the folders/photos to the internal HD, keeping them in the same folder hierarchy as they are in now on the external HD. Yes, of course the drive name will be different, but other than that the folder path and file name should be the same.
    Then, open the LR catalog that indexes the files and Update Folder Location (details are here: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm, scroll down to the "Update Folder Location" section)
    Then, once that is complete and everything is working in your LR catalog, with no question marks on the photos or folders, optionally delete the photos on the external HD.

  • Logic for DC selection for authentication within the same AD site

    Hello All, I am working on extending AD service from an existing data center to a new data center. As part of co-existence, I have created new DC's in the new data center but kept them as part of the AD site in the existing data center. Both the data centers
    have a 1 GB connectivity.
    What I would like to know is - would there be any internal logic in calculating which DC should a client authenticate against based on network latency or something like that ? I wanted to know if there was any way I can restrict the user workstations at
    the existing data center location (which is also the HQ location) to authenticate against the DC's available locally instead of travelling to the new DC's at the new data center, within the same AD site. I cannot make the new data center a separate AD site
    for now due to the migration challenges.
    Any inputs would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Goldy,
    I will recommend you to create a separate AD site and configure sites and services accordingly, if you dont want clients to authenticate against the new DC.
    DC locator is the service name which is responsible for assigning a logon DC to the client.
    If the DC's are in different sites you can configure the sites and services to point the client to correct DC in a site. AD authentication always distributed based on the sites and services you configured.
    You can configure ldapsrv records to authenticate against specific DC.

  • Illegal cross join within the same dimension

    Hi,
    When certain fields are selected within the presentation table an "illegal cross join" error is returned by the BI Server. However if a FACT is added from one of the other presentation tables the "illegal cross join" error goes away. we need to query without fact column.
    We are getting following error
    State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 14065] Illegal cross join within the same dimension caused by incorrect subject area setup: [ CALL_CENTER.COUNSELOR_MANAGER T782130] with [ CALL_CENTER.COUNSELOR_HR T781594 On CALL_CENTER.COUNSELOR_HR.MASTER_STAFF_COUNSELOR_ID = CALL_CENTER.MASTER_STAFF_COUNSELOR.MASTER_STAFF_COUNSELOR_ID, CALL_CENTER.MASTER_STAFF_COUNSELOR T781739] (HY000)
    Can anybody help me solving this issue.
    Thanks,
    KS.

    Please give us an example of what you need.
    OBIEE perform a query in the dimension or through the fact table.
    You can't join two dimensions in the repository without going through a fact table.
    If you need to query without fact column, it's because you have design two dimensions where
    normally you can do one.
    You have then two solutions :
    * change the design of your logical model to make only one dimension.
    * use the OBIEE logical SQL in answer.

    Success

  • How to use multiple profiles within the same instance of Thunderbird

    About a month ago, I had Thunderbird configured with three profiles,
    and all three could be used within a single startup/instance of
    Thunderbird. That PC is now gone. I have re-configured the three
    profiles on a new PC, but am having trouble making all three
    useable within the same instance of Thunderbird. Can you help?
    Both PCs are/were Windows-7 64 bit.

    Thunderbird only opens on the default if one profile
    or
    if Profile Manager is instructed to ask at startup it will allow you to choose which Profile to open else it opens on the last Profile used..
    So it shows one Profile at a time in one instance of Thunderbird.
    However, one Profile can have many mail accounts.
    eg: I run 4 mail accounts in one Profile.
