  • Sharepoint web application is not working on client system

my sharepoint we application is working on premises but it is not working on local system

I assume you mean its working on the server, but not on your client.  If so, make sure that you have registered the URL for the web application in your Domain Name Server (DNS).  If you can't resolve the name you won't be able to reach the web
    application.

  • SharedServices and Workspace URL's are not working in EPM System 11.1.2.2

    Hello,
SharedServices and Workspace URL's are not working in EPM System 11.1.2.2
I have installed EPM system V11.1.2.2 in single server environment (MS 2008 Server R2) with following components:
    * Foundation Services
    * HFM
    * FDM
Have used embedded Weblogic server as application web server and Oracle HTTP server as web server. The installation was successful.
    While configuration,
    1) I selected the option to deploy web applications SharedServices and Workspace to a single managed server. The applications got successfully deployed to EPMServer0.
    2) Also, I selected to configure Oracle HTTP server as web server.
    Both these steps were successful.
But SharedServices and Workspace URL's are not working. Getting 404 error.
    SharedServices : http://inmum01hyp05.internal.vodafone.com:19000/interop/index.jsp
    Workspace : http://inmum01hyp05.internal.vodafone.com:19000/workspace/
When I checked Weblogic admin console, EPMServer0 is in SHUTDOWN state, tried to start it but it goes in ADMIN state instead of RUNNING.
Checked EPMServer0 log at "D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\EPMServer0\logs" and found the error given at the end of this message.
Can anyone please suggest a solution for this.

    Hi John,
    today's update:
    * Uninstalled EPM system V11.1.2.2 completely and after rebooting the server installed EPM system V11.1.2.2 again.
    * During configuration, deployed SharedServices and Workspace to single managed server EPMServer0 on Weblogic server and configured to Oracle HTTP server as web server. Configuration seems successful.
    * Started EPM system.
    * checked Weblogic admin console - EPMServer0 goes into ADMIN state from STARTING.
    * Checked EPMServer0 logs at "D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\EPMServer0\logs" and found the error given below:

  • Web reporting does not work in BW system

    Hi-
I'm a BW consultant with very little BASIS knowledge and have been asked to look into why web reporting is not working on our system.
We get the following message when trying to run BW queries on the web:

I've checked SICF and all services are activated.  I suspect that the problem is in the RZ10 parameters, but do not know what needs to be set there.  Here are our settings:

    Following seems a little odd....
    ms/server_port_<xx> PROT=HTTP, PORT=8080
    I would expect something like:-
ms/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=8102 (or other relevent port number)

  • Custome Tcode is not working in QA system but working in DEV system

    Hello,
We have copied QM11 tacode to ZQM11. We found this ZQM11 tcode is not working in QA system, but properly working in DEV system. When we are execute this tcode from QA system with all required input, it says
"No objects could be selected that met your selection criteria."
But when do it in DEV system it is working fine. I have done following steps to check error
    1) All authorizations are good
    2) I have compared E070 and E071 table to found transport done with proper way.
    3) I have checked SE93, tcode condition is good.
    4) SE97 -->found call transaction is QM11 for ZQM11
    5) From program code level Authority check maintained properly.
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'Q_QMEL'
                 ID 'QMART'    FIELD I_QMART
                 ID 'TCD'      FIELD I_TCODE
                 ID 'WERKS'    DUMMY.
    6) Performed authorization trace to found error agains object Q_QMEL (RC =4), but in the role Q_QMEL has define with it's  proper value supplied by our functional team.
    7) Shows all active object in SU24 against ZQM11 are good
    8) When we call tcode it has thrown the error agains Q_QMEL only
I am not able to understand why does not work this tcode in QA system, although working in DEV is good.
Please help me to resolve this issue
    Thanks
    Pavel

Bieng declared $WERKS field as DUMMY, is not relevant, so no matter its value, it will pass..
There's a catch! If even DUMMY means literally that no matter user has any value, he is still authorized but in reality for such \fields authorization check is only successful when a value ' ' or * is found in user's authorization else it errors out.
Sorry confused with programs where AUTHORITY-CHECK has  ' ' coded instead of DUMMY. You are right, DUMMY specified for as field would pass authorization check with any/no value in user's authorization. Please ignore my statement

    You're talking about the dock?
To check on that, go to System Preferences > Dock > indicate your preference.
I can get iTunes up, and safari, but i don't know how
Not sure what you mean - if you can "get it up" - does that mean you can launch it? What do you not know?

I have upgraded Safari in my Mac, but the new Safari does not work with my system. So I find myself without any working browser. How can I solve this problem and/or install my previous Safari version?

Reinstall Safari 5.1.10 for OS X 10.6.8: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1569. Might do the trick.
But, frankly, I don't think that simply reinstalling the old Safari will work because of all the peripheral, under the hood changes that happen when you upgrade from one version of Safari to another. Reinstalling 5.1.10 may be insufficient to turn back the clock. (This is the moment where a Time Machine or another form of full backup would save your bacon.)
While you're getting a copy of Safari 5.1.10, get a copy of Firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/desktop/), too, so that you have an alternate browser to use as you're sorting matters.

  • The Port : 6001 is not working in the system

    Hi Experts,
    OS   :  AIX 6.1
    SAP :  SAP Netweaver EHP1
In the OS level the Port : 6001 is not working and giving the out put as...
    pb2adm> telnet abcprdpb2 6001
    Trying...
telnet: connect: A remote host refused an attempted connect operation.
    Virtual host : abcprdpb2
As it is the BI java stack system & I configured the SMD & wily in the system. From the BI java stack system the wily agent is not working and it uses the port : 6001.
Now the issue is regarding to the port : 6001
when telnet in the same system which is Virtual host : abcprdpb2 is not working and which I have given the output above. It is working when I telnet to the other systems. Please see the output  below...
    pb2adm>  telnet abcprd001 6001
    Trying...
    Connected to abcprd001.
    Escape character is '^]'.
    Connection closed.
From other system  virtual host : abcprd001
As I have checked with the firewall team and said it is fine in the system and same us AIX team also. But still port : 6001 issue is not resolved in the Virtual host : abcprdpb2
Can you please let me know how to open the port : 6001 in the Virtual host : abcprdpb2 and also how we can confirm that port : 6001 is opened or blocked in the Virtual host : abcprdpb2.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sandeep.

    Hi,
The both mentioned virtual systems are in different LPAR's (Physical host).
Already I have checked the /etc/services and looks every thing is fine in the file. I have also checked the file inetd.conf  and I didn't find any thing # on the Telnet. It seems every thing is fine in the both files.
Can you please look in to it and provide some thing which I have to look in the OS level.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sandeep

  • Extraction and Reporting is not working in BI SYSTEM

    Hi,
The BI developement r shows error an License Expire.Currently i change the system date and working fine. If changing the system date modeling part is working fine. But extraction and Reporting is not working. please help me to solve this problem.

    HI,
If the license is expired then appky for the permanent license from Service market place and install it in the system through SLICENSE TCode. For this you need to have S-user ID to access service market place to apply for license.
    Regards,
    Sharath

FYI, the latest installation CD version is "2010.05". It's best to use the latest. Get it from http://www.archlinux.org/download/
I'm not sure but I believe all other LiveCDs are custom made outside of the official Archlinux development team.
I recommend downloading the CD I mentioned and follow this guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginners%27_Guide
I've installed arch many times on different hardware and the only time I lost mouse and keyboard was after I removed "10-evdev.conf" and "10-quirks.conf" from /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/. I copied both back from backups, rebooted and m&k were functional again. My guess is  "10-evdev.conf" was the file I needed. Check both these files exist.

  • SPROXY not working in application system

    Hello all,
I have been trying to make SPROXY work in my QAS ERP 2004 SPS23 system
for a few days now but I can not make it. I have
configured SPROXY in the past for my sandbox and DEV system with
success but I do not seem to have any luck in QAS.
My PI landscape consists of sandbox, developement, qa and production
systems. The version is PI 7.0 SPS21
My ERP landscape consists of the same 4 systems but in version 6.40 -
    ERP 2004 SPS23
All non production systems use a central SLD that runs in the PI development
    box (PID)
The error message I get is as follows:
When I run SPROXY in ERP QAS client 330, I get : "No connection to Integration
    Builder (only local data visible)"
When I do Goto --> Integration Builder, I get the message "Integration
    Builder address not maintained"
However, when I do Goto --> Connection Test, from the 4 reports I have
to run, two work and two do not work:
=>Check/maintain with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS works and shows the correct address for Integration repository
    =>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION works
    The other two reports
    =>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE
    ==>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION
return: Integration builder data not undestood.
SLDCHECK runs fine: All green and invokes correct IE session with the correct SLD URL (central SLD)
SLDAPICUST shows the correct SLD (central)
SXMB_ADM --> Integration Engine Configuration shows the destination RFC
    SAPIS_PIQ
which is defined in SM59 as type H and works fine
TCP RFCs LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI work
The corresponding JCos in Visual Administration look ok
I have registered the queues in SXMB_ADM and they registered ok .
The /sap/xi/engine service is active in both the application system and the PI  system (QAs and PIQ)
Finally the exchange profile settings in PIQ are fine as well
    com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name : piqas.finance.local
    com.sap.aii.connect.repository.httpport : 50000
    com.sap.aii.connect.repository.contextRoot :rep
    com.sap.aii.connect.integrationbuilder.startpage.url : rep/start/index.jsp
    com.sap.aii.applicationsystem.serviceuser.name: PIAPPLUSER
    and the password is set.
PIAPPLUSER is service user and is not locked.
I have tested SLDCHECK in PIQ and SLDAPICUST and they look ok as well.
Any other clues? Any way I can investigate further via checking logs
and traces to find out what is wrong?
The "Data not understood" message is not helping me much in determining
    what is wrong
    Many thanks
    Andreas

  • Backupeventlog not working for remote system in PowerShell

I have the following code snippet that works if I specify localhost or the name of the local computer, but does not work if set to a remote server. I am running the script as Administrator using my Domain Admin account. Both local and remote systems
are Windows Server 2012 and in the same domain. PowerShell version = 3.0.
    Param(
    [parameter(Mandatory=$true,ValueFromPipeline=$true)]
    [ValidateScript({Test-Connection $_ })]
    [String]
    $Server,
    [parameter(Mandatory=$true,ValueFromPipeline=$true)]
    [String]
    $LogFileName,
    [parameter(Mandatory=$true,ValueFromPipeline=$true)]
    [ValidateScript({Test-Path $_ -PathType 'Container'})]
    [String]
    $OutputFolder
    $EventLog = Get-WmiObject win32_nteventlogfile -ComputerName $Server -Filter "LogFileName = '$LogFileName'" -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue -ErrorVariable $ResultError
    If ($ResultError)
Write-Host "ERROR: unable to event logs from $Server."
    } Else {
    Write-Host "Backing $Server."
    $EventLog.backupeventlog("$OutputFolder\$Server.evtx")

After spending some more time troubleshooting this and doing some more research I found the link below. I found it strange the hoops the author went through to handle event logs on remote systems until I realized that the path for "backupeventlog"
is relative to the remote system, not the system running the script. So I checked the other systems and found that the event log backups had been created. This would explain the returnvalue of 80. What's worse is that the path for "backupeventlog"
    can't be a UNC -- I tried, it didn't work.
Back Up Your Event Logs with a Windows PowerShell Script
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/magazine/2009.07.heyscriptingguy.aspx
I decided to re-read Microsoft's documentation and found the magical text that I had over-looked:
BackupEventlog method of the Win32_NTEventlogFile class
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa384808(v=vs.85).aspx
In addition, you must make backups to the local computer; you cannot save a backup of the event logs on Computer A to Computer B. Backups are implemented by using the LocalSystem account, which does not have the network credentials necessary to access remote
computers. If you want to save backups to a central repository, modify the script to first perform the backup, and then move the backup file to the central repository.

I would mark your post of Wednesday, March 04, 2015 9:45 PM as helpful if this option were available. Your comment got me to dig into this deeper and discover
    the root cause.
    Thanks.

  • The auto-brightness of my iPhone is not working, and my system is really unstable. What is Apple going to do about those bugs?

I would like to know when Apple will fix these terrible bugs of the last software updates. My phone isn't working properly. I'm considering the idea of getting another smartphone...

If your system is unstable, you should consider restoring your device through itunes to get a fresh version of the operating system.
If your auto-brightness isn't working, it's possible that there is an issue with your phone's ambient light sensor which is hardware and not affected by an iOS update
Are you using a case? if so, it's possible that you're using one that was made for an iPhone 4 instead of a 4S which has an ambient light sensor that is a few millimeters to the left, so some iPhone 4 cases could cover it slightly, causing the ambient light sensor to not work as affectively
