F8-history does not appear

I downloaded 1.5 with included JDK.I also have included the following lines in sqldeveloper.conf file
AddVMOption -Dsun.java2d.ddoffscreen=false
AddVMOption -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true
AddVMOption -Dide.update.masterserver=http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/sql/master.xml
AddVMOption -Dwindows.shell.font.languages=
which is the standard workaround which I once have found, and still seems to be necessary when working with TFT monitor, in order that the data grids scroll properly, whithout overriding their contents...
But now to the subject of this post: I tried using F8 the sql-history, which is always an important tool for me. Looks different but not worse. I liked the possibility to keep the window undocked, while I am working in the sql-worksheet. This way I wanted to be able to access the history, without hitting F8.
Problem: that was yesterday. Today, I opened sqldev and the sql-history won't appear any more, not even with F8. When I hit F8 the focus is removed from the sql-worksheet, but where is the sql-history? It not visible. Can you help bring it back to the screen? Did I use it, in a way it is not supposed to be used?

Thats very odd.
Try View->Sql History from main menu.
If you see any exceptions in console, please paste them here.
Chek accelerator assignment for history in preferences.
Also check if SqlHistory.xml file is well formed and valid.

asuming you are talking about the app store try signing into your account using your apple id into the app store.

Service entry sheet does not appear in PO history

hello all
here is a difficult question:
standard PO (type NB) with one Item line.
we did several GR on this PO, several entry sheets.
The last SES, with "final entry", does not appear in the PO history.
the GR corresponding to it, does appear.
any idea of what could have happened?

HI,
whenever we do the SES against the PO,
two entries trigger in PO history,
one is SES and other is material document type withmvt 101,
ur saying that material document is there in ur case and SES is not there,
after posting the SES entries will update at EKBE ,ESSR and ESLL,
there is a way to track the SES by by comparing the tables EKBE and ESLL ( service line objects ),
u can trace through package no of services,
if the pocket no is 101 at EKBE, immediate pocket no is 102 at update at ESLL,
check the pockets in both tables,
may be this will cause through patch level,
ask the BASIS team about this.

Edu Version does not appear in order history

I'm Stephanie and I ordered the educational version of the creative cloud for students, but it does not appear in my order history or somewhere else.
I don't have uploaded any proof of my educational status as a student, could this be the problem? I tried, but I don't have an order number.

Firefox menu bar appears- file/edit/history etc but the actual page with the search bar does not appear and is blank

when clicking firefox icon to open the internet, all that appears are the options along the top of the page. the rest of the screen does not appear revealing the desktop picture. The firefox page with the search bar does not appear.

The password save prompt box does not appear on logging in to certain password protected webpages; is there another way of adding their passwords to Firefox sync?

The usual suspects from Microsoft, Adobe, Wacom, Apple and Google, all of which are checked and no updates currently found.
With webpages such as <https://shop.avanquest.com/members/?company_rs=51>, PayPal and Windows Live e.g. after correct login details are entered into the online form and login is performed successfully. The "key" symbol does not appear to the left of the "awesome bar", neither does the password save pop up box and so the login details for the site cannot be saved in Firefox sync.
This is not specific to https secure sites, as I have been able to save the passwords for several https secure sites and conversely, I have been unable to save the passwords for some http non secure URLs. I have ensured that, whilst trying to enter a page or site into Firefox sync, it has the only tab open.
There does not seem to be a way of manually entering website details (URL, User Name, Password etc.) into Firefox Sync; how can I save the password details for such sites?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

Event created on iPhone does not appear in iCal

When I create an event on my phone and sync, it does not appear in iCal. Events created on my laptop sync without issue. Contacts sync both ways, but calendar events do not go from the phone to the computer. I am not using MobileMe to sync, simply using the USB cable.
I have tried the following to resolve my issues:
* Make sure iTunes and iPhone are up to date
* Make sure all calendars are set to sync with iTunes
* Try different USB ports on the laptop
* Restart phone and computer
* Reset sync history in iSync and re-sync
* Follow directions in this support article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1627 to do a full reset of sync history and re-sync
Yet after trying all of those solutions, I still cannot sync events created on my phone to my laptop. Does anyone out there know of anything else I can try that might work?

After a trip to the genius bar, I found how to solve this problem, at least for me:
0) Plug in iPhone
1) Start iCal
2) Export all calendars (File -> Export)
3) Quit iCal
4) Delete all calendars from ~/Library/Calendars
5) Start iCal
6) Import all exported calendars
7) Start iTunes, configure syncing to overwrite calendars on phone
8) Sync iPhone

Error message "Tax code V1 does not appear in any G/L account item"

Hi,
I am getting the error message FF753- Tax code V1 does not appear in any G/L account item when I post a subsequent credit via miro.
It does not give the error with invoice or credit memo for the sames GL accounts.
History:
PO created
Goods receipt
Invoice posted and blocked as value greater than PO
Subsequent credit put on to correct the values in price query - error appears
I know if I go to FS02 and make the GL code * tax relevant it will remove the error but we dont want tax to go to this account as its a main inventory GL code.
Can anyone advise why it would appear on the subsequent credit but not on invoices or credits.
Also is there something I can set up to remove this issue apart from making the GL code tax relevant - it must not need it if the other postings work ok.

Doesnt matter that it works for credits and invoices with blank tax you still need to put * in GL code for subsequent credit etc postings

Device Synch Menus does not appear in iTunes 11 on Windows 8 PC

My 3rd generation iPod Nano connected to Windows-8 PC and iTunes 11 - Device "Summary" menu does not appear. If you select the <File> menu in iTunes there is an option to "Synch Nano". My iTunes is set to manually manage music on the Nano - because the "Summary" menu does not appear in iTunes it is impossible to select albums to Synch with the Nano.
On the upper right bar there is an eject button for the iPod Nano. This does in fact eject the Nano device and re-appears in iTunes if you disconnect the device then reconnect the iPod Nano.
No other device menus are present in iTunes 11 under Windows-8. The iPod Nano music library also does not appear.
Only the PC based iTunes music library is visible.
Itunes software versions are both current on the Nano and Windows-8 PC.
The computer was deauthorized and then authorized in iTunes.
The Synch History was reset in iTunes Preferences - this did not re-establish the Nano as a device to synch with iTunes. (Typically fixes similar problems)
Resetting nano device by holding Menu after switching unit on/off (Apple Logo Appears then Reboots Nano) makes no difference.
Nano shows as a drive in Windows-8 in "My Computer" and the operating system recognizes the device connection.
No problem ejecting and reconnecting the Nano in Itunes but traditional device menus are gone with the exception of the eject button.
Tested the same iTunes Nano on two other computers with iTunes 11 installed on Windows-7 and Windows XP - works fine. This issue only occurs on Windows-8 computers.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How do I know if private browsing is working? The purple mask does not appear when I click the mask icon. In my privacy settings "Never Remember" is selected.

I'm trying to confirm private browsing is working. Right now I have no way of knowing if it is on or not. The purple mask ,referred to in help, does not appear when selected. I should say in my privacy settings, I have selected "Never Remember" for history.

Do you mean you have checked the box: "Always use private browsing mode"? If so, it's intentional that the private browsing icon isn't displayed as we didn't want Firefox to be showing everyone within view that you're using private browsing mode IIRC.
There are some easy things you can do to confirm that you are in private browsing mode such as visiting a new website and then confirming it doesn't appear in the history window.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

App icon does not appear for Keynote

Tried to download "Keynote App". Icon does not appear. Under the "App Store App" under "Purchased Tab" the app appears in the "Not on this Ipad" (I don't have another ipad) section with a cloud with a downward facing arrow. when I click on that it says " You've already purchased this, so it will be downloaded at no attional charge". When I click "OK" nothing changes.
I have also checked "General"/Usage" under settings and the App does not appear there.

Camera icon does not appear when use Google Image Search

Hello,
I am working on a much older macbook pro (2006) running OS 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.10.
Just the other day I reinstalled Safari, as some things appeared to not be working properly. However, there was nothing wrong with Google. SInce then, when I try to search by Google Image, the camera icon does not appear in the search bar. I have tried reinstalling Safari twice, but nothing changes. I have checked in Firefox and it shows up as expected.
I have cleared the cache, deleted cookies, and cleared browser history. None of these steps have produced any changes.
Also, I seem to have reverted to some earlier version of Google, since the search tools now appear on the top left, as show below.
Can you please assist me in sorting this out so that Safari and Google perform as expected.

I posted that work around on the google forums and it actually came from the Apple forums from users 'Society Girl' and refined by 'spiza' from this thread.

I called a friend at a tech magazine and he *cough* unofficially* cough* said via contacts it was a very deliberate move by Google... nothing to do with their upgrades or a hack coincidentally not working as a by product with old browsers.

In a separate thread, as spotted by a Reg reader who brought this sorry affair to our attention, user MadFranko008 was able to show that even modern browsers - including the current version of Chrome - were apparently spitting out glitches on Apple Mac computers.
Google then appeared to have resolved the search "bug" spotted in Chrome.
