Facebook and Facebook Messenger message push notifications not working?

I have a 4th generation iPod touch running iOS 6.1.5 and an iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4. On my iPod touch, Facebook and Facebook Messenger give me notifications for everything. On my iPhone, the Facebook app gives me every notification except for messages. Facebook Messenger, on the other hand, doesn't give me any kind of notification aside from the in-app notifications. I've been missing important messages on my iPhone because of this. I've set all notifications settings on my iPhone to "on." I turned on all the notifications settings in the notification center, the apps themselves, and even the Facebook integrated settings under Settings > Facebook. I also tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling, to hard booting, to logging in and out of the applications, and I even turned off Facebook platform on the computer. I was wondering if this has something to do with being online on both my iPod touch and my iPhone, but my mom has an iPad 3 (I think?) and an iPhone 5s and she never has notification problems. I've already tried Googling my problem up, but none of the solutions worked. I really hope you guys can help me. Thanks a ton in advance!

I've already tried reinstalling and restarting both devices. I now get comment notifications on my ipad but no chat and still nothing on my phone. I don't understand what happened. It was working 2 hours ago.

Facebook and twitter sharing problem

I'm have trouble using Facebook and Twitter integration in Mountain Lion. When I click 'Click to Tweet', or 'Click to Post', nothing happens; I don't get the notecard looking thig, and it's like I never clicked the button. Same thing with sharing from an app, except for Twitter. I receive notifications from both just fine, but I'm unable to post. I can tweet something from the sharing menu (link to a webpage with Safari, for example), but Icannot send a tweet using the 'Click to Tweet' button in Notification Center. Also, I cannot post to Facebook by neither sharing nor the 'Click to Post' button. So far I have tried sharing with Safari, Finder, and Preview, all with the same results. (Facebook sharing with iPhoto does work, but I don't believe that is integrated with OS X.)
I have also tried the following, with no luck:
Checked my settings on the Facebook and Twitter sites.
Removed my acounts and re-added them.
Obviously, my internet connection is working.
Added my Facebook account to the 'Guest User' account, and another administrator account.
Had a friend add his Facebook account to his own (limited) account on my computer--he could not post to Facebook either.
I believe the last two things I tried indicate that this is a system-wide problem. A couple more things to note: 1) there is no kind of error message; it just sits there, like nothing happend, no 'spinning wheel' or anything. 2) It DID work before. Twitter worked when I first upgraded to Mountain Lion, and Facebook worked when I installed the 10.8.2 update. I don't use either often enough to know when exactly they stopped. I add that I raed about people who could solve it reapplying the update combo, i tried it but it doesn't work, basically because i can't do ant update.
any idea?

I know the ans...first install os x mountain lion again above all your installation..then see the build it should be.. Facebook and Twitter resolution problems in iOS 7.0.3

Yesterday i updated my iOS to 7.0.3, since the update both my Twitter and Facebook apps have shrunk to the middle of the screen with all the text overlapping.
i have rebooted iPhone several times and reinstalled both apps and still the problem is the same.
If anyone could help it would be appreciated

Blackberry Tour Youtube problem/facebook and phone freezing problem

ok any time i go on youtube to watch a video it never works i always get this error thing that says:
in the top right corner it says Error Playing in red
and then a box opens and says "An error has occered attempting to play media." and then all i can click is Ok
and this has only been since i installed the buzzmetin app and then removed it cause it was just pissing me off
also i docked my phone with my pc to add some music to the media card thats about it.
and now for some reason i cant view youtube videos.
normal videos saved on my media card work fine just youtube from what ive tried.
and then the other problem is with facebook
ever since i connected to my pc and got that app its adding all the pictures of my facebook firends to when they call me. I DONT WANT THIS
and i already went through all the settings and checked them not to show but for some reason it still does?
and also when ever i go to my friends list through the facebook app it starts freezing like mad even though its already loaded.
so anyone have any advice i can use to fix these two problems? mainly the youtube one
the facebook problem is just bothering me but i just use the mobile browser app to get to facebook now for the time being.

is there any way to change the blue tooth access password for my phone?
mine is by default 0000 and i wanted to change it to something different so people cant just access my phone when i have the blue tooth on

YOUTUBE has not release an app for Blackberry Tour yet. The only option you have is to download an app called Vision (http://vision.metova.com/download) I do have BuzzMe app and still watch videos on my phone. Hope that helps! As for your freezing problem, make sure whatever app you open..ie, internet, games, google maps....make sure you close it fully. One way to make sure your BB is as fresh when you wake up in the morning, download an app called Quickpull Lite. Good luck...

I am having the same problem - both integration tabs have disappeared from my notification center. I know they were there after I upgraded to iOS6 on Friday, but as of yesterday they were gone.

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Yahoo and MSN messenger problems

Hi,
I have a Blackberry Curve 8900, and since I have upgrade MSN and Yahoo messengers to v 2.5.27, I have the same problem with both of them.
When I try to send a picture, I get the message: "Untaught exception: UI engine accessed without holding the event lock" , and I'm logged off automatically.
How can I fix this, or downgrade to the previous version?

This is the printing and faxing section, so you'll probably not get much help here.
If you're referring to MS Messenger, that's down to Microsoft. They rarely update the Mac version of Messenger, and it doesn't support video calls / conferencing. Try Skype, that's multi-platform and works with my iSight camera.

5800 Problem with Ovi Store and Facebook - HELP PL...

I have had my 5800 for about 4 weeks now and had a great time using Facebook and downloading stuff from the Ovi Store when suddenly my problem appeared. When I try and log on to the Ovi Store it says at the bottom "you are logged in as Purpledwarfy but when I try to move onto another page I get an error saying "sign in failed, check your user name and password" I know that my username and password are correct because they work on all the other PCs I have tried it on. I have also tried to change my password and it hasn't made a difference.
On Facebook I log in using the same details that get me access on a PC and it looks like it is going to load my page but just goes straight back to the login page.
Has anyone else had the same problem and have you been able to fix it??

Hi, I got it fixed in the end. I found the nearest Nokia Service Centre Experts who ended up being Carphone Warehouse. I handed them my phone and went back to get it a couple of hours later and it was fixed. All they did was wipe the phone, after saving my contacts etc onto the memory card, and then rebuilt it. Working great now

Can someone help me with a problem I have publishing photos to Facebook and Flickr

I am using LR4.4 on my HP laptop (Windows 7 Home premium) with Mozilla Firefox as my default browser. I was able to publish some photos from LR to my Facebook account early in October. I have some new photos to publish, but find I now can no longer publish to Facebook. I get a message – “Facebook authentication check failed”. I have tried to reset up publishing to Facebook within LR, but when I click on the Authorize in Facebook, I get a Firefox Error Message: “The address wasn't understood Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (lightroom) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address.” I have tried using IE as the default browser, but I get the following Internet Explorer Error Message: “The webpage cannot be displayed. Most Likely Cause: Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed.” From the Adobe website (helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/errors-occur-using-lightrooms-publish.html) I have unsuccessfully tried all 5 solutions to resolve this issue.
Other steps I have tried - I have removed the LR app from Facebook, then attempted to Authorize from LR. I can get through 3 steps in Facebook (request for Public Profile, accept Posting to Facebook, and accept managing FB pages), but the final step again fails. In Lightroom, after the authentication step fails, I note that the “Failed to receive authentication token” is highlighted blue. When I click on this, a popup appears (see below). I had found a suggestion that this should be changed (I can’t recall what the alternative url was – but part of it was …”export.facebook”…) but I’m not sure where this change should be made. I attempted to paste the new link into this field, but this didn’t seem to work either.
I have also tried to set up publishing of photos to my Flickr account. I go to the LR setup, which directs me to my Flickr account, and click on the authorize button. But again I get the same error message! I am just about at the end of my knowledge / ability to solve my Publishing problem. I would really appreciate you help and advice with this issue. Can you please help me?
