Facebook Download Doesn't Appear
I have an iPad Mini with Retina Display. I downloaded Facebook App from the Cloud through the App store and FB App doesn't appear on my iPad nor does it open when I press "Open" in the App store. Any suggestions?
Look on the other screens (swipe left). If desired, move it to the first screen.

I am able to locate Bright Flashlight. I click on download and it takes me to a page with several items to put in a shopping cart but no downloads. The initial link shows it as a free download. Is there any way to download this from my computer and send it to my phone?

Now I have another question. I received some photos through in text messages. I wanted to transfer them to my PC. After struggling for a while, I was able to email them. However, I could not find a way to transfer them to my memory card. I read the instruction manual that said to go to recent on any screen. I could find no recent. I couldn't find any link when I brought the photos up to save them to my card. I do find this smart phone a real challenge from compared to what I referred to as my "Dumb Phone" I see where there are classes for the use of these phones but they are too far from where I live. So how can I save to my card? -

Help us to help you: There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on seven different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.
Posts that consist of "iPhoto doesn't work. Help" or "iPhoto won't print" or "Suddenly I have no photos!!!!!!!!!!" mean that any helper is simply guessing. More information means you get better assistance. (And no, more exclamation marks do not get help faster or make your issue seem urgent. They just make it seem like you have a stuck key ) -
i got an iPad and all my app's, music, and movies are on it, but when i try to download some apps to mi iPhone, they doesn't appear on the purchased tab, how could i move them back to itunes so i can access thru iCloud? i have an 2nd generetion ipad and an iphone 5, thanks for you answers!
(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

After upgrading to iOS5 & everything was restored,I couldn't find the downloaded movies I had before.I kept on syncing it with iTunes.I can see videos are taking up space on my Ipad 2 memory in the iTunes page but it doesn't appear,only songs appear on the Music.thank you in advance for your assistance..

The download button as described on the HELP page doesn't appear on the page listing my purchase.
The HELP instructions list that such a button must be clicked to down load an item.
I have made 3 purchases of the same song in an attempt to download it.
Only one of those purchases appears on the page that list purchases available to down load.
I wrote out a copy of the HELP page instructions (the page can't be printed) so I could accurately follow it as I tried to do the down load.
Is there some secret to downloading a purchase or causing the down load button to appear?Hello L Swarz,

Problem Example:
~ Connect the iDevice
~ Open iTunes and click on the iDevice name
~ Go on App section
What do you see is your iDevice, with all your apps that looks like your iDevice
After downloading an App from iTunes store, this app doesn't appear on the image of my iDevice (on iTunes - App section)!!
This app appears only after i click Synchronize, and if i don't want install the app just downloaded I must abort the synchronization and then remove the app that I don't want to install!!
Sorry for my english!!Newly downloaded apps will appear in the column on the left. The images on the right show what is installed on the device. Perphaps the logic has changed slightly with older builds also including what would be synced as well. Untick the box that says Automatically sync new apps and you can choose whether or not to include a new app instead of syncing, then removing.

I've a "bug" with the apps downloading. This one stops at the end and stays like that infinite. The app doesn't appears normally on the homescreen. The app is on the home screen, and its downloading is blocked at its end, without showing the app like it should when it's finished downloadung. Does someone can help me and fix this please?

I had heard that these switches didn't stack unless everything was identical.
I only tried it at all out of pure desperation.
I've applied and tested every version 3 firmware in standalone mode via a console cable and xmodem.
They either never come up properly receiving decompression errors and reboot constantly in a loop.
Occasionally they stall / jam and stay there displaying the same error with no rebooting.
And twice out of 80-100 times I got it to boot to the username and password screen in standalone mode.
But as soon as I made a change it crashed and started the rebooting cycle again. -

Sono Italiano.If you are using the Creative cloud app to do the install in the upper right hand corner there is a Gear looking icon. Click on that and select preferences then go to the Apps tab and you can select which drive any and all Adobe software installs to. I suggest you included the folder also. Mine look like this.
D:\Programs Files\Adobe
All the creative Cloud Apps then get installed to the D drive in the Program Files folder in a Sub-folder called Adobe. They are then installed to another Sub-folder for whichever program they are, IE Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom and so on.
If you are installing the Stand Alone versions then at one point during the initial install system you are given a choice to do a Custom or Advanced install and you have to choose that option then you can select which drive and folders to install to. -
I have clicked on a link received in my e/mai which has put a download into my download stack which appears to be a Facebook login page to someone who is not me but has my e/mail as the primary account,should I be concerned?
I would do the following just to be safe.
Change your email password so anyone trying to use your email address won't be able to or delete that email address from where ever you got it after getting a new one.

I am trying to download iTunes to a PC. I hit Download. It says Thank your downloading, etc. It asks 'Save?' But it doesn't appear in my Downloads.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Note the timestamps of the BOOT_TIME log messages, which refer to the times when the system was started. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Select the messages logged before the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
For example, if the system was unresponsive or was failing to shut down for three minutes before you forced a restart, post the messages timestamped within three minutes before the boot time, not after. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract—not at the beginning.
If there are long runs of repeated messages, please post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
☞ When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Step 2
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A crash report has a name that begins with the name of the crashed process and ends in ".crash". A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent of each. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
☞ If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash or panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
☞ Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful. -
I am having trouble downloading the OS X Mavericks. In my initial attempt to download the update from the App Store, it started downloading but stalled. It wasn't paused, but just stalled. I restarted the Mac and tried to install it again. The next time the download commenced but stalled after reaching a certain point (it appears to have tried to restart from where it left off earlier), but the download doesn't continue. Says "Mac OS X Mavericks failed to download". Now on deleting the icon from Launchpad, when I try to install it again from the App Store, it shows downloaded. How do I restart the download process and install Mac OS X Mavericks? I am currently on OS X Lion 10.8.5.
Yes, I do have an external drive, which I now disconnected and restarted the Mac to try installing. Didn't work.
I then kept it disconnected and restarted in Safe Mode, which again when trying to download showed "Downloaded". So didn't work.
Then tried one final time by plugging the external drive back in, and starting in normal mode and it appeared to have started downloading once again.
Unfortunately, it didn't give up so easily and the download is now stuck at 996MB.I think it's really testing my patience now. I tried looking up the communities for a similar issue and see that others have had their download stop at 996MB, but it seems to be an ISP/Router related issue, and I don't have alternatives for either.
Have written to the local Apple retailer for support, fingers crossed. -
I purchased a downloadable recording from a website. I can access it through the confirmation they sent me in my mailbox, but it doesn't appear to actually have downloaded on to my iPad 2 device. Where is it? Can I create an icon for it on my home screen.
If you bookmark the link as favorite you can have an icon on your Safari page. Some websites let you add a icon on your home screen but it's still a link to a website.

You can try swiping to another screen. It may be on a different screen if you have too many apps or folders on any given screen. It is also possible that if you have filled the iPad with as many folders and apps that it can hold, you will not be able to find it on the iPad other than with the search function. Another possibility is that it ended up in a folder somewhere.
