Facebook won't work.

I'm currently using Firefox 14.0.1 (can't update to the latest mac OS so stuck with it), and while every other website I regularly use has been working fine, Facebook just within the last twelve hours has just started coming up like this http://i.imgur.com/5uKhXAX.png
I've not been having this problem with either Chrome or Safari and I've tried disabling all addons and all that is usually recommended for this situation and nothing's been working.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
Click the menu button New Fx Menu and click History button, and then Clear Recent History... .
Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
Now click the Clear now button.

Photoshop elements uploader to facebook won't work properly.

Photoshop Elements 11 gives the opportunity to share pictures with facebook.
The facebook uploader doesn't work for me. Uploading in high resolution won't work at all. But even in standard resolution, the following problems occur:
1) uploader does not recognise albums in facebook, and
2) worst of all: uploades images won't be visible to friends, unless they dive into yout profile. I mean: in the uploader window i choose: visible to friends. When i log on to facebook, the images are there, but they are tagged as privat. Untagging them to 'visible for friends' won't help.
What am i doïng wrong (PRE11)
While uploading al settings are correct, in facebook settings become different.
Operating system: W7, 4GB RAM, E8600
Browser: IE 9

Thx for your suggestion to a solution. I'm sorry to say that it doesn't answer (all) my questions. I will try to see what difference matching the settings give, but no mather the result the following question persists:
I have to choose an option: adding to an existing album or creating a new one. Since most of the time i (read: my wive) wants to use the uploader to share some photographs with friends, the only right option seems to create a new album. (I could live just fine without creating an album, but that option isn't available).
So: While creating a new album with the uploader, the uploader is used to set the settings vof the new album. Now the trick: the album in facebook gets different settings.
I would very much appreciate an solution to this particular problem.

IPod touch 4g won't download apps anymore and facebook won't work

One day my iPod touch suddenly stopped downloading apps. I thought it wasn't because it hadn't been updated so i updated it but the problem still continues. I have no clue what's gone wrong but it won't update anymore saying, 'error 1004 please try again later.' so i tried again later, and later and still the problem occurs. Also my facebook app hasn't been working well with the newsfeed not appearing and i can't write statuses anymore. it won't show me any new notifications or messages, but i'm guessing thats down to facebook, but I don't know why it's doing it so any helpful answers would be much appreciated? Any help?

Twitter & Facebook won't work!!

Ok so i've had my BB Curve for 5 days today. On the first day my facebook and twitter apps worked FINE! After that.....NOTHING! When i try twitter it says "Local connection timed out after-120000"
When i try facebook it says "We cannot reach the Fcaebook sever at this time. Please try again later. (100)"
Now i've been told that they only work if you have credit.......but you're supposed to have the 1st 3 months FREE!! >:/

Facebook won't work properly since I just switched to my iPhone 5s.

I loaded Facebook to my new iPhone 5s. It won't let me read comments. When I hit the button to read comments, it only offers to let me make a comment. Same thing happens when I am reading a post and want to continue reading- it just offers to let me make a comment. It won't show me the rest of the post. Also when I am sending a PM it won't let me see what I am typing to the other person.
Also I find the letters are too close together on the 5S. Hard to type legibly!

Firefox upgraded, shortcuts won't work

I recently upgraded Firefox and now the shortcuts for Facebook won't work. (ie. pressing Enter to post a comment). Also, after posting at Facebook I'm not able to delete the post either. I tried clicking the "remove post" button and it was just loading. Photo upload doesn't work either. Maybe both Facebook and Firefox have problems regarding the new upgrade.

The G5 is a PPC Mac. Chrome and Fx require an Intel (architecture) processor.

What happened to Quicktime use on FACEBOOK? Now everything sent to FLASH (which, of course, won't work) on iPad?

I used to be able to play videos that I made & posted on my Wall (on Facebook). When you tapped on them, you'd see the Quicktime "Q" briefly show up and the video would play right there on your Wall. Now, all videos are directed to another page that indicates the need for FLASH which we all know WON'T work on an iPad!? What changed? And why? Or am I missing something - or doing something wrong? Holding down the center/select button and the menu button will reboot your ipod. See if that helps. Also, I'd recommend something else- I had nothing but trouble with my ipod classic until I spent $20 to get Mac OS Mountain Lion. It did what you said and sometimes wouldnt play, or wouldnt power on...
Try rebooting your ipod and let me know what happens and maybe in the future obtain Mountain Lion to aide your ipod in functionality.

as of July 2014 Facebook won't upload photos when trying on my MacBook, yet my iPhone and the PC at work will, what's up with my Mac or Safari? I have updated my Flash and that seems fine. Facebook is not allowing me to upload photos of videos to my profile or friends profiles. Also when I post a link to an article the photo preview with the article no longer shows up either. What the heck??? I am super frustrated. Thanks for any help

I can upload photos to Facebook on Safari 7.0.5 and Mavericks v10.9.4 so update your OS X.
Go to Apple  top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click Software Update, OR, open the App Store then select Updates from the menu top of that window. Then follow the instructions for updating OS X.
When you're done, launch Safari then uploading photos on Facebook.
If you still have problems, troubleshoot Safari extensions and third party plugins.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

How to solve this issue?

Try a hard reset first. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If still no luck, try downloading and installing a new app from the App Store. Doing so has cleared the issue up for several users.

well, thanks for suggestions ... but problem persists.
When starting ff in safe mode, some times i have video and sometimes i don't.
It is just like starting ff in ordinary mode - sometimes there is a problem with video and sometimes not.
However, the video problem occurs more times than when it goes ok.
I unticked the hardware acceleration box but it made no difference.
Also I have played around with all the add -ons and (only 4) extensions ,disabling and enabling them, to no effect.
The odd thing is that this video problem is not always consistent
- sometimes it occurs and sometimes it doesn't..
I have webroot anti-virus and it tells me that my laptop is clean.
There is no Video problem in chrome and IE.
.....A few times in the past, this problem occurred but things came right by themselves.
I have been a fan of ff for many years.
