Fade Fill option doesn't show in Photoshop CS6

Why do I not get the option to "fade fill" when I use the ALT/Backspace keyboard shortcut to fill a layer. If I use the menu option Edit/Fill.. to perform the fill I am given the option to "fade fill"

Tried resetting preferences, still doesnt work. Here is exactly what I am doing
Make Selection in layer
press CNTL/J to make a new layer with that selection ( new layer is now selected)
press ALT/BACKSPACE to fill new layer
go to EDIT menu - Fill is grayed out
If instead of Alt/Backspace keyboard shortcut I use the Edit/Fill menu option - Fill is not grayed out -
almost seems like the fill dialog needs to pop up (which is does not when using Alt/Backspace) for the "fade fill" option to appear not grayed out
Maybe its unique to my installation if you are not seeing the same behavior - not sure?

I have MSI GT 70 ONC Laptop with NVidia 670M (2GB) graphics card. I also have Sony Bravia 3D TV.
I can play 3d movies on laptop and can watch them on my 3d TV using HDMI cable fine although my laptop doesn't have 3d display.
I am trying to use my laptop which doesn't have 3D display but has Graphics card which supports 3D to play 3d games and see them on my 3D TV.
I checked online and found out that I need to change "Stereoscopic 3D" settings in NVidia control panel but Stereoscopic 3D option doesn't show up in the control panel. Very few options are there. I have updated drivers to the latest level but still can't see "Stereoscopic 3D" option in NVidia control panel. So will you be able to help me out what I can do to see the option? Thanks in advance.

I have got an gs70. Exactly the same problem. Unfortunately this hdmi outputs are connected for the intel graphics cards. And intel does not support 3d.
I was actually very angry with MSI. Because they do not mention in the description. They promot just the gtx card. And forgot to mention about the hdmi connection.
Forget the 3d tv. Or you can buy an external mini pci-e graphics card adaptor.

Answer security questions option doesn't show up when reset password

I restore my iphone 5s then i can't active it because of activation lock.
I don't remember my apple id password, so i go to reset it but the answer security questions option doesn't show up (my apple id is [email protected] with no backup email).
how can i reset my password now.

It sounds like have tried resetting your password but do not have the security question option and do not have a rescue email account setup. Use the following article to contact Apple for assistance with your account:

RMBP can Airplay content from iTunes but mirroring option doesn't show up

I have the Late 2013 rMBP running 10.10.1. I also have the latest Apple TV which is working fine with my iOS devices.
The Airplay option shows up in iTunes and works fine in there but the mirroring option doesn't show up in the Menu Bar. I have checked the "show mirroring options in menu bar when available".
I haven't got another Mac to test the Apple TV yet.
I'm not sure what else to do.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
New cable and different USB port?
Runs this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Tagged Option Doesn't Show

I normally sync with iTunes manually. When I tag songs on the radio and then I connect my iPod Nano to iTunes, the “Tagged” option doesn’t show under Store. What’s going on?
FYI:
I'm currently using iTunes 11
My iPod Nano is 6th generation
My operating system is Windows Vista

Give it a pdf and those options should appear. Just drop one into the itunes library and then sync the ipad.

Windows Fonts not showing in PhotoShop CS6

Newly built Windows 7 Machine, installed the fonts and they show in all office Apps but not showing in Photoshop CS6, can you tell me how to get them to appear?

Photoshop lists all fonts that are present in 'Fonts' folder in Windows.
If PS is not listing some fonts:
Either those fonts are not located in 'Fonts' folders (Windows keeps it in a secret statsh as they're proprietary to Windows 7)
One or more of those fonts are corrupt. Adobe doesn't list corrupt fonts. In fact, often times Photoshop hangs when you have one or more corrupt/ invalid font registries on your system. Scan for corrupt fonts and remove them
Can you post the 'fonts' that are 'missing', so we can see if they have any associated known issues with Photoshop?

The GPS Option Doesn't Show Up at All

As Above. The GPS option every guide has been talking about doesn't show up under options or advanced settings at all. The closest thing i get to GPS is Location settings and it is not doing much.
I'm using a Verizon set. I'm also using it out of the USA currently.
Help please?

Running elements organizer 12 on mavericks can't import iphoto files since the option doesn't show up

Running Mavericks 10.9.3 with iphoto 9 loaded Elements 12 and went to import iphoto files - but the import option doesn't some "from iphoto" and the file/getphotos and videos/from iphoto doesn't show - what is the issue

I'm not sure exactly what you're saying, but you probably don't want to use "from iphoto" anyway. That's only for when you want to import your entire iphoto library (like when you decide you want to use organizer instead).
The first question is what are you trying to do? Do you just want to open photos from iphoto into the PSE editor or do you want to import them into the organizer for something?

HP Printer scan option doesn't show up on my MacbookPro

I have an HP printer and I can't use the scan option because it doesn't show up on my computer. ANd when I try it from the printer it gives me an error window.

On its web site for Lion compatible Scanner drivers, HP offers the following workaround since they have not yet produced HP based Scan driver software for your older model (I have the same problem):
People who need to SCAN & PRINT without a compatible driver from their manufacturer can use Apple's very basic "PRINT & SCAN" utility in System Preferences:

I've installed my new plug-ins from Envato-marketplaces into Photoshop CC as instructed. The filters doesn't show when I open Photoshop CC. I have Windows 8.1 64bit installed on my computer and therefore also Photoshop CC 64-bit.
Can someone help me with this problem?

Subject: Tabs - Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar. For what ever reason, this option doesn't show up for me to select. Why, or was this feature moved or removed?

I'm running FireFox 10 and I have Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC. I would like to have the ability to select an open tab from the Windows taskbar. For what ever reason, this option is not showing in the Tools - Options - Tabs window. So, I can't select it. Why? Has this feature been moved or removed?

The "Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar" does not appear as an option. in Options - Tabs.
I Toggled the browser.taskbar.previews to True in About:Config, but it made no difference.
So, no go on either solution.
I am running Windows Ultimate 64bit. I don't know if that makes a difference.

No 3D options on Windows 8 in Photoshop CS6 Extended!

Hello everyone! Recently, I have installed Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended trial from Adobe.com (Yeah, I am sure it was the EXTENDED version). In the setup it says that it is installing ”Photoshop CS6 Extended” and I could saw that yellow leaves -or what that is- girl in the image. But everytime I open the program, it says only ”Adobe Photoshop CS6”, I have no 3D options displayed and if I go to About Photoshop, it says that it is only ”Adobe Photoshop CS6 (not EXTENDED-as I could see on some youtube videos)”! So, what is the problem? I have a 32-bit system and Windows 8 Release Preview installed. I read that XP does not support 3D, but about Windows 8... Or, it does not support 32-bit systems, it only support 64-bit systems??? What should I do? Thank you in advance!

You may even want to check how the other GPU features work on this video card. It is at the minimum requirement for Ps CS6, and given the age of this card it may not be supported.
The minimum required GPU must have 512 MB VRAM for Ps CS6 Extended. We have some cases for GPU with 256-512MB where the 3D menu items aren't disabled, but problems may still occur. The suggested VRAM is 1GB or higher for 3D the feature set.

Some of the alternative tools in the tool box are not showing, I already restar the program and try to clean the catche and is still not showing. DO not what to do

What operating system are you using?
Does that mean when you click and hold on the icons in the toolbox, the the pop up menus don't appear?
Some of the tools in the toolbox don't have any hidden tools (zoom and move tools) and you can tell which tool box icons have
hidden tools by the small black or white kinda side ways arrow next to the toolbox icons.
Is there a particular tool you can't find in photoshop cs6?

No Analysis Menu showing in Photoshop CS6 Extended

Hi all,
The 3D menu is there but not the Analysis menu. I'm trying to set the scale measurement; i have the scale icon and it works, but i need to go into the Analysis menu to set the scale - and it's not there! Can't find it, or any reference to this (only to the 3D menu being missing, which is usually they don't have Extended).
Running Windows 7 pro on a Radeon HD6850 graphics card, i have "use graphics processor" selected in the preferences menu. Any help gratefully received!
