Failed Creating the First Workspace in the Repository on Linux

Hello,
I have two machines with Oracle Linux 5:
Machine 1 --> Oracle Linux 5 (64 bits) + Oracle DB 11g R2 + OBI 11g R1
Machine 2 --> Oracle Linux 5 (32 bits) + I would like to have here OWB 11g
To install OWB in the machine 2 to have access to ODB in the other machine I have followed:

Over Machine 2 I have tried to create the repository (after I've installed Oracle Client and validate that I can communicate with the DB in Machine 1):

When is doing the creation over 50%, I have the following error:
java.sql.SQLEXception: ORA-06576 : it is not a valid function or procedure name
I am looking for a solution over two days ago, and I am desesperate with this issue.
Any idea is welcome!!

You cannot get around Activation Lock without the oringinal owner disassociating the iPad from their account.

OWB 11g rel2 Client install. Error when creating my first Workspace

We just installed Oracle 11g rel2 Std edition database on Oracle Linux. No problem connection with Toad. Everything works fine.
I have just installed OWB 11.2.0.1 client on Windows 7 and Windows 7 in XP mode. Having the same problem on both installations mentioned below.
No I am about to create my first Workspace in Repository Assistant where I get an error:
- Step 1, Database information
- Host xxx
- Port 1521
- Oracle Service Name: instance name (the one I use in Toad that works)
-SQL Net Connection: Checked  Seems that I have to use this when I connect with system user later on in the wizard.
- Step 2 Manage Warehouse Builder workspaces, checked
- Step 3 Create a new Warehouse Builder workspace
- Step 4 Create a workspace with a new user as workspace owner, checked
- Step 5 DBA Information: user system, Password: xxx
- Step 6 Enable Optional Features: Non selected
- Step 7 Workspace Owner(new)
- Workspace Owners’s User Name: owb_owner
- Password x 2
- Workspace Name: workspace_dev
- Step 8 OWBSYS Information:
- User Name: OWBSYS (OWBSYS and OWBSYS_AUDIT accounts are unlocked)
- Password: xxx
- Then I click next, and the error information are as follow:
“OWB software with the compatible version must be installed locally on the database server machine. If it is already installed, please acquire the DBA user credentials, an run the SQL script owb/UnifiedRepos/remote_owb_install.sql on the database server machine. This creates a database directory named ‘OWB_REMOTE_ADMIN’ that the remote installation will access to read the database servers OWBHOME/owb/bin/admin directory. Relaunch the Repository Assistant or execute OWB scripting command OMBSEED to seed the repository.
Since we have installed the Oracle 11g rel 2 database, the OWB are already in that installation. I also tried to run the remote_owb_install.sql and applied the OWBHOME/owb/bin/ when running sql. I still have the same problem.
Anyone experienced this and have a solution to solve this?

I am using my Description as the caption on Slideshow. I ticked the "Show Title Slide" button and iPhoto physically copied the description on the first slide onto the end of every other description. I can find no way of removing them other than by hand.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. I then tried wiping the original software from the computer and re-downloading from scratch. Each time I tried the download failed with a message saying “Service “Apple Mobile Device” failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services” At this stage, the only way forward was to “abort” the download. This I have done now four times and the same thing happens. When I did finally manage to get an i-Tunes shortcut on my desktop, the program wouldn’t open saying: “i-Tunes was not installed correctly. Please re-install i-Tunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193)” Any ideas to resolve this?

The problem of tracks becoming de-linked between iTunes and the music files in your iTunes music folder happens for different reasons - this seems to come up fairly commonly in this forum.
The solution can be to locate each song in the iTunes library, as you mentioned - or, but wait, before I get to that...
trouble finding the original track in your iTunes music folder? maybe look for it under compilations, or if not using the 'group compilations preference' then look in the folder under the songs artist name, but what song artist name iTunes uses depends on what you have in the metedata tag spot for album artist or song artist. Any varyation in artist name spelling, in the menu item 'get info' metadata for any selected individual track will cause iTunes to create that as a separate artist folder in the library, even names like 'various' or any difference at all (even the word 'the' can change where in your iTunes music folder a track gets placed by iTunes). You can try to use the finder function of find file (finder munu item outside of iTunes) to locate hard to find items.
Back to how to re-link any de-linked tracks .
There may be scripts that can help re-link de-linked music files - or, at least provide you a list of such files, Scripts are easy to install and use...

How can I disable the previous button in the first page and the next button in the last page?

Hi all,
I have created a new skin for a webhelp by modifying the layout and the buttons. However, I am not able to find a way where in we can
disable the previous button ini the first page of the webhelp and hte the next page in the last page of the webhelp. If both the next and previous button is visibile in the first and last page, it is sort of misguiding the user.
I am using Robohelp 9.

I think you are mixing Previous and Next in a browse sequence and the Previous and Next that you get in the browser itself.
In a browse sequence, they are automatically disabled at the start and finish. When in the first topic in the sequence only Next will be enabled, when in the last topic only previous will be enabled.
Previous and Next in the browser are working on the topics your user has viewed which is not the same thing.

Changing the calendar settings: Sunday as the first day of the week

Dear Masters of SAP universe,
In ECC6.0, I am using a LIS info-structure with the period split set to week.
I would like to know how can I change the calendar settings in order to consider Sunday as the first day of the week, instead of Monday.
For example:
A sales order created on Dec 12th creates the record 201049 in the info structure S900 - SPWOC.
I would like to have it as 201050, where 50 is the currently week in the system.
I already checked OSS notes and the transaction SCAL for customizing. But I did not find a solution this issue.
Your help is highly appreciated!

Moving a GregorianCalendar to the first day of the week

I'm using a GregorianCalendar class in order to get the time stamp for the nearest Sunday's date.
here's what I'm trying to do:
1. get a timeStamp and set it into a date
Date startDate = new Date(startTime);2. create a new GregorianCalendar using the above date as the start time.
GregorianCalendar calendar = new GregorianCalendar((startDate.getYear()+1900),startDate.getMonth(),startDate.getDate());3. the tricky part: make sure the calnedar's date is set to Sunday, if the current date is on any day other then Sunday, I will have to move it back to the nearest Sunday. I'm trying to do this by using:
calendar.set(Calendar.DAY_OF_WEEK, 0); for some reason this does not work...
am I doing anything wrong here?

UITextView doesn't display the first part of the text

I am having a trouble with UITextView.
When a text view is loaded for the first time after my app is launched (the text view is created and text is filled from saved data), the text view displays from the first letter of the text.
But once the text view becomes first responder, then disappers by pressing back button on a navigation bar, and come back to the text view again by using a control on the previous view (a button for instance), the text view always displays the last part of the text.
This happens after the text view becomes first responder. What is changed before and after the text view becomes first responder? And how can I avoid this to display the first letter in the text view always when it appears?
I tried resignFirstResponder, selectedRange, and scrollRangeToVisible: in viewWill/DidAppear/Disappear but all of them didn't work.

There are two views, home view and text view, and UITextView is in the text view. The first time the UITextView appears (slides in from the home view), it looks like:
Test[1] Test[2] Test[3] Test[4]

Test[9] Test[10] Test[11] Test[12]
Suppose the text starts at Test[1] and ends at Test[200], and just the first 50 are visible within the size of the UITextView.
Once I tap on the UITextView, keyboard appears and UITextView becomes first responder (editable). Then I go back to the home view using back button on the navigation bar.
Then again I move back to the text view from the home view,. This time it looks like:
Test[189] Test[190] Test[191] Test[192]
Test[193] Test[194] Test[195] Test[196]
Test[197] Test[198] Test[199] Test[200]
I would like to display the text from Test[1] whenever the view appears. If the UITextView hasn't become first responder, this doesn't happen and the text starts from Test[1] when it appears. But once the UITextView becomes first responder, the UITextView always displays Test[200] at the bottom of the view when it appears.
I am not sure but it looks as though some internal state of UITextView changes when it becomes first responder, but isn't reset even after it resigns first responder.

I have a user who is trying to do a mail merge from MS Word 2010 by using the PDF Add-in, whether she selects just to create the PDF's or email them automatically the add-in will say the emails have been sent successfully but only the first address on the WORD mail merge list will have been created/emailed. Effectively only doing one at a time!

As the event log indicated, this is due to acrobat pdfmaker office com addin doesn't work well with Microsoft Word.
I would suggest you go ahead and try to upgrade your Adobe product to the latest version and see if issue persists.
Or contact the support of Adobe and see if there is a known compatibility issue or not.

How to get the first month of the year inputed by user manually

Just like the subject, I 'd like to get the first month of the year inputed by user manually, but don't know how to set the variable, please help.
For example, user execute a query and input the value of variable Year = 2010, and what I want to get is 201001 into another variable, so that I can use this variable to setup another selection.

Hi Andy,
1) U will create a user input varaible for year and say it is ZYEAR.
2) U will create another variable for calmonth which has processing type : customer exit ..single value ...mandatory ....say ZCMONTH.
This needs to be populated using the year( user inputted ) and calmonth '001'
This code will fetch the user input value into ZYEAR and append '001' to the user input value and the value
will be passed to the ZCMONTH varaible...
Sample Code is....
When 'ZCMONTH'.
IF I_STEP = 2.
     READ TABLE I_T_VAR_RANGE WITH KEY VNAM = 'ZYEAR'.
     IF SY_SUBRC = 0.
                L_S_RANGE-LOW = I_T_VAR_RANGE-LOW.
               L_S_RANGE-LOW+4(3) = '001'.
              L_S_RANGE-SIGN = 'I'.
             L_S_RANGE-OPT = 'EQ'.
                  APPEND L_S_RANGE TO E_T_RANGE.
    ENDIF.
