FAX PO output in Chinese

Dear Experts,
I am unable to  FAX  the PO output in Chinese language.
Every time it fails and gives a error in SOST  "No delivery to CN 021xxxxxxxxx, as part of message cannot be transferred."
I am using device type CNSAPWIN in my setting SCOT and the Fax server used is ESKERFAX.
Please note the i can fax the english version of my PO output to the same number. But can not fax the Chinese output.
Thanks
Rajendra

Hi,
Yes I have maintained all basic things required to send a fax to the vendor.
Condition record is set in MN04 with Medium as FAX and language as ZH-Simplified Chinese
Vendor language is maintained as ZH to trigger the Chinese Output of the PO.
Thanks

  • Translating the output to Chinese format

    Hi All,
I have a simple EMP rtf template build. I have created a concurrent program and registered a template. And got '.xlf' file with source 'en-US' and target as 'en-US'. I am using 11.5.10. Now i want to print the same report in either english or Chinese based on the locale selection.
I got some chinese fonts from the google. and i have created my own xlf file with target as 'zh-CN' locale. When i open xlf file in word pad and if i paste those chinese labels and when i reopen the file in wordpad, i am getting '???????' label insted of chinese. I have uploaded the same xlf file in the template and when i run the program with 'zh-CN' locale i am getting the output with '??????' labels only.
To get the the output in chinese format, could you please explain me in detail what are all the steps that i need to follow.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi All,

  • FAX and Output Filename

Does anyone know if it's possible to output the actual OutputFileName from the transformation builder?
I want to print a document in PDF and sent it by FAX. I have a fax machine which is able to scan a directory, picking up a txt file, and it expects to read in the txt file the filename of the PDF file.
I'm able to generate a PDF file named, for example, xyz.PDF and a txt file called xyz.PDF.txt.
I'm unable to write "xyz.PDF" in the xyz.PDF.txt file.
    Thanx a lot.

You suggestion is good and, before writing a program to do that, I was wondering if that approach would be possible even with Transformation Builder, since that is the program I'm using to generate the txt file.
I'm using the Transformation Builder because I need to extract some data from the spool file to be printed, before converting it to PDF. These data will drive the fax machine.
I have a job with these steps defined:
1- jftrans: Trasformation of spool file from legacy system
2- jfmerge: PDF Creation with unique filename
3- jftrans: same as (1), but I will extract data for the fax machine
Unfortunately, in step (3) I don't have the filename available which Control Central is generating in step (2).
If there's no chance to have it available in Trasformation Builder for step (3), then I need to add a step 4 to append this information to the same file of step (3) using a custom program.
Do you think this should be the way?
    Thanx,
    MDI

  • Script Task output in Chinese???

I added some error logging to my package and now my script task output looks like Chinese. This is not the error file I set up for the error logging but another text file that I was sending
results too.  Next I took out the logging stuff and it still was not working right. So… I created a new project and imported my package into that and it is still spitting out what looks like Chinese. I looked at all the properties on each
task and verified that the LocaleID is set to English (United States).  When I delete the text file I am send my data too and have it create while the package runs it comes out in English. It seems to work ok now but I am wondering why that
happened in the first place and if this is something that will happen again when in production. What I can do to prevent it from happening again.
    tks!
    Reach for the unknown!

1st time I see this happening, I think there is no need to panic.
The code page/encoding chosen for the log file was incorrect looks like. And perhaps this is due to the the computer locale being temporary incorrect (or still not).

  • How do I get my error log to stop outputting in Chinese?

    Hello friendly Adobe community!
I'm running Photoshop CC 2014 (although I had an already existing installation of CS6 on this computer, and the settings were imported).  I'm working on a long batch automation, and trying to troubleshoot my way through all the problems with the process.  I choose the option to export the errors to a log, so I can go back and fix them later, but when the log is generated, the text comes out in Chinese (or Japanese, sorry, I have problems differentiating between the two).   This error also occured in CS6, and I was hoping the update would fix it.
    1) I downloaded CC from Adobe's website, so I don't think it's an issue with the software or installation, as it was all automated.
    2) The UI language is in English.
Here's a sample of the text:

I have no idea what any of that says, but the boxes for the missing characters are sometimes shaped differently than they are appearing in this forum text box. Some are larger, some are smaller.
Can anyone help? Anyone experienced something similar?  Have I just missed some obscure setting in the preferences menu?
    Thank you!

    Mac or Windows?
What sort of automation are you using?
    Any plug-ins involved?

  • Configuration to output English, Chinese, Thai and Korean in 4.6C

    Hi experts,
May I know what are the setups required to allow the following languages to work on 4.6C - English, Chinese,Korean and Thai?
We can't move to Unicode at the moment and currently we are using the Blended codepage 6200 which only support English, Chinese and Korean.
How to configure the system to allow all the languages mentioned above to work together so that we could have printout in the different languages?
        Thank you.
Message was edited by: David Mok

    Hi Su,
       Thanks for the answer.
But we already have code page 6200 setup and hence just need to add in language Thai.
The problem now is we don't know what other solutions are available apart from MDMP? Even going from ambiguous code page 6200 to MDMP seems like not feasible(from your reply)? Do you know what are the consequences if MDMP is converted from blended codepage.
Do you know of any way that all the languages could co-exist without going on MDMP?
       Thank you.
    Rgds,

  • Fax output - Chinese characters are garbled

    Hello,
We are using fax output for two forms ( One smartform and the othe sap script). Both the form outputs are thorugh  the same fax device. For the smartform output there are no issues and the output is as expected but for the sap script output the chinese characters are garbled. Instead of the chinese characters i get output like _____ _______>,<%,,<< etc.
Interestingly, if i have a look at the print preview or take print out there is no issue and the characters are as expected. The issue arises only during fax.
    Can someone help pls?
    Thanks,
    Venkat

  • Output of Sapscript in Chinese language

I have a Purchase order in english and now i want its output in chinese.
I want the output of my script in chinese language.
I have tried logging in chinese language but the output comes in German.
I have also tried through se63.
An output type is attached to the script(zneu) . I have changed its language(i.e. output type )  to chinese   ( ZH) but yet i am not able to see its output as desired.
Please help me in this query as early as possible.

It is quite simple, now change all your text to standard text..
Now display the text in your form using standard text. Maintain standard text in both english and chinese.
    Ex.
    If COMPANY CODE EQ <CHINA>
    Pick standart text LANGUAGE<b> 'ZF/ZH'</b>
    ELSE
    Pick standard text LANGUAGE <b>'EN'.</b>
I hope you will be successful with solution.
    Reward points if useful.

  • Adobe MM Purchase Order - Output as FAX Message Type - Output Missing

    Hi All,
Hope some one has some pointers on what to do here, I am at a bit of a loss.
    Situation.
I have developed a Adobe Purchase order based on the std form MEDRUCK_PO supplied with the ECC6 R/3 system.  We have kept the same interface inputs, so no changes would be required to the SAP std output program.
Any additional customising data was implemented as globals in the interface and coded accordingly.
The purchase order is produced and output when using the output type of printer.  However when we change the output type to FAX no output is produced.  By this I mean no changes are shown in the wait queue in SCOT and no messages are shown in SOST.  However the record in NAST shows that the output was produced OK.
    Questions:
    1) Does the SAP std program need to be modified if the output type is FAX?
    2) What configuration changes are required if any to get this working?
    Thanks in Advance
    David Cooper

It is not possible to FAX Adobe Output using the SAP std Supplied code in ECC6 SP12.

  • Additional Problem with Smartform Chinese Character Output

    Hi all!
This is a follow-up to my earlier question about output of Chinese Characters in Smartforms.
As a recap, my problem is to correctly output Chinese characters in my Smartform using English logon.  Using the OSS Note: 776507 that Anji sent, I managed to output in my Smartform preview the Chinese characters.  However, when I print a hardcopy, I still get the # characters.
I tried uploading the font that outputs the chinese characters on MS Office, specifically Arial Unicode MS.  It was automatically assigned to the printer driver (I think).
Is there anything I am doing or did wrong?
Thanks in advance for the help.  Points for any useful answer.

    Hi Pat,
I have installed the lastest version of Adobe Reader (10.0.1) and Adobe Reader Font Pack (Asian Font Pack) and the results are as below:
tested that the file (.pdf) cannot be displayed correctly
It is appreciate if you have any idea for the issue. Thanks.
Just let you know that the simplified chinese characters may inserted by the software (Free PDF Reader and Writer - Nitro Reader 3.1.1.3).
