Feature request: Add "Cancel" button to the close program / backup actions pop up window

Please add a way to cancel out of an unintended close of LR4. I cannot count how many times I have thought of something else I needed to do or wanted to try, only to have to totally restart the program to complete the action. If I prematurely exit the program I would like a way to get back in without having to totally close out and restart. LR3 suffers from the identical coding/programming oversight. Thanks.

Ok, so I did not see this feature request for LR4 but was able to find a few references for it under LR3 (which I apparently missed before posting this request). Is this simple request really that difficult a programming feat?

In pacman.conf it would be useful to add a NoExtractWhitelist= or NoExtractException= directive.

The use case I have in mind for this is the /usr/share/locale/ directory.
On my laptop I have no problem with this directory, but I install arch to usb keys and optical media frequently and
it would be good to be able to blacklist the the 100MB+ and ~2500 files that I don't use w/o having to add every locale
other than my own to the NoExtract line.

The optical media isn't really my concern, shouldn't have mentioned it. I mainly care about wear and copy speed on my flash drives

HT4993 the add call button and the merge button isnt working.

I have had my sprint I phone 5 for about 5 days. I use my phone for business and Im not able to use the add call button or the merging button for conference calls. It almost makes me want to take it back and grab a droid. I really believe in mac I have 3 laptops but this I phone just isnt working properly. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

Contact Sprint and see it this is a feature that they support. To the best of my knowledge they do not support it.

I know skype maintains it's own names but this is so you don't lose everrything when you move from one place to another. Or need to skype someone from an internet cafe with your iphone.

Why not simply add the field by modifying the template?

User-defined F4 Search - cancel button in the title bar

Hi,
I implement user-defined F4 search for my WD application. F4 view comes from another component (as described in the tutorial). Everything is fine, I see that view popuped when F4 is clicked for an input field. My problem is, how to make visible the Close button in the title bar of that popup window.
I was able to set window's title text, but have no idea how to control those buttons. I only see maximize button which comes by default.
Also would be nice to create kind of standard OK and Cancel buttons on the bottom bar instead of creating them manually on my view... I've tried set_button_kind(), it works somehow: displayes three empty buttons without icons - need more info about it too...

The empty buttons are worth a ticket.
The behavior for the close button in popups is that the application developer can determine its visibility independent from the buttons in the lower row.
The second aspect is the action that is triggered if someone clicks that button. There the application developer is able to bind a separate action to that close button. If no action was bound and if a cancel button is visible, clicking the close button will trigger the same action as it would have been the case for the cancel button. A bit complicated, I know. We had to do the latter for backwards compatibility.

I need to know, is there any way to disable/remove the (cancel)button in the ProgressMonitor?
One more problem is,
Once i click the cancel button, isCanceled() return true, how to make it false again so that the process continue....

I don't think that's a good solution, because Cancel button itself is not disabled, so user is tempted to click it and nothing happens.
A better but dangerous solution is this:

To be able to add a button to the toolbar of a standard transaction, you can use GuiXT which is a bundled solution within SAP R/3 or Netweaver. With GuiXT, you can create your own pushbuttons within an R/3 screen or within the toolbar. You can make both the menu functions and the navigation to other transactions directly accessible with your own pushbuttons along with a new icon that you wanted to assign to the pushbuttons.
Also, you can customize the pushbutton's size effortlessly. And in your situation of adding it to the toolbar, GuiXT can help to set your pushbuttons automatically to fit onto the toolbar with its designer tool.

you just create a pf status and add buttons to it.
then you include that pfstatus in your function module in the
export parameter 'i_callback_pf_status_set'
i found this sample code somewhere you just see how this is done:
create one pfstatus. for example znewstatus is the created
pfstatus. double click on the pfstatus that was created then add the buttons that you require in the appilication tool bar.
pass the form names to the I_CALLBACK_PF_STATUS_SET and I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND in grid as shown below.

Disable Add Attach Button in the Interactive PDF form

Hi all,
Can you please let me know if is possible to disable the Add Attachment Button for the interactive form?
I need to show the attachment icon on the toolbar (setShowOption method from IWDPDFDocumentAppearance interface) but I need to disable the ability to add an attachment.

I am walking through Apples tutorial getting started with iOS development. I am at the storyboard area and can't seem to drag the cancel button to the green exit. I am not sure why the exit button doesn't except it. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes I checked it. As far as I can see I did everything Apple said to do. I took some screen shot so you can see how the screens are connected and what and where the code is, and what it does when I drag the cancel and done bar buttons to the exit
