Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work....

Deleteing photos probably is not the answer - you probably need to purchase an external hard drive and move your iPHoto library (and possibley iTunes library) to it - you can operate that way (be sure the EHD is always available when you launch iPHoto) or you can have a small library on your MB and use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - to move photos between teh internal and external hard drive

Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive

My laptop iCloud calendar did not adjust to daylight savings time. Do I need to manually move all the appointments are is there somewher I can do this. All I found was the time zone adjustmant and that didn't help

Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking bar, tap & hold any icon until they all start to wiggle, tap the red minus sign & close every app listed, tap home button when finished. Then reset your phone:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.

Any content that your friend downloaded will be tied to their account - so if you want to sync to your computer's iTunes and keep that content then you will need to authorise your friend's account, and you only be able to download updates to their apps via their account. You should delete the apps and buy/download your own copies of them.

Great question! What type of email account are you using? Most email providers these days offer IMAP accounts (as opposed to POP). Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

I need some advice. I had about 9000 pitures and photos in my camera roll folder.
I wanted to manage all these pictures into separate folders for easier access.
I imported all the pictures onto my pc, and created and managed the pics.
I synced the phone and excluded the photos,as advised on the site.
The I disconnected the phone, connected again and included the pictures.
On the coclour tab it indicates that all the pictures are there, after syncing,
but on my phone, nothing appears.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way of importing my pictures
onto the phone and keeping the separate folders?

If you don't find an iTunes backup as suggested above, another possibility is that the phone was setup to automatically back up to iCloud. You can go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage to see if your device name is listed there. If it is, the section titled "How do I restore an iCloud Backup if my device is already set up for use?" in the following link gives directions on how to resore it: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4036
Also, I'm sorry to hear you lost 5 years of pictures. Having them in one place (as you unfortunately found out) is not a good idea as all kinds of things can happen including loss of the phone. If you have a computer it is a good idea to periodically import them to the computer where you can see that they have successfully transferred to a second location. You could try changing the settings in System Preferences/Security & Privacy/General/Advanced/Require an Administator password to access locked preferences
