FI Master Data list

Hi,
Can anyone provide me with a list of Master Datas required to be prepared in the FI and CO modules? Any link for this kind of information?

Also we have to give to mm wht codes for vendors plus fi-costing views for material
For sd we have to give terms of pay for vendor master data
If mm and sd is not implimented that is if only fi is implimented we have to gather customer and vendor master data.
In costing following is the master data

Cost element
internal order
profit centre

What is the use of master data listed in infoprovider?

Dera sirs,
I noticed that some master data is listed in infoprovider. If someone can explain me in which cases this master data listed in infoprovider is used for report.

Welcome to the SAP world.
Take your thread data/question data of SDN for example
Master dara here is: User ID ( your user id ) Name, Country etc which can not be changed
Transaction data here is: Number of Views on this thread by other users ( daily increases)
Points given by you etc.
With the help of master data we can easily find out who is this user of this question and his contact details etc.
Post as many threads as you can your master details will not be changed in the SAP SDN.

Is there a method or a way to see the Master data list.
Say for example all materials, Customers, Condiotions Etc.
One way i know is though Tables themselves, is there another way.

we can view material list in a specific plant through transaction code mm60.

Help needed please -Master data loading- error with text loading.

Iam S.Sushma. Iam getting error while loading master data from flat file- attributes and texts.
I have loaded attribute data successfully. But when iam monitoring the text data then iam getting following error.

""RECORD1: SRPID_1:DATA RECORD 1(EN S):DUPLICATE DATA RECORD.
"ERROR 4 IN UPDATE"
I took 2flat files for attributes and texts.
SRPID is key field.(sales representative id)
attributes:- SRPID, NAME1, AGE1, ADD1,PHONE1.
text:- SRPID,LANG,SHTXT,MDTXT,LGTXT.
Iam just a begginer so need your guidence. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your guidence. I have changed the order in flat file and got the results successfully. But when iam viewing the Master data text the S10 in coming in 2nd position in maintain master data-list screen i mean :-

Upgrade the DB from 2007A to 8.8 PL 10- Error in Fixed Assets Master Data

Dear Expert,
we r using smoothly Fixed Assets Add-on in 2007A environment, Now we are upgrade to SAP B1 8.8 SP00 PL10. When i view the Fixed Assets Master Data by choosing from List Its shows all of my master data list, but when i select any of them system shown nothing in FA Master Data form , please guide

Hi,
I think the addon is corrupted. have you reinstall B1 addon ? if you have reinstalled but it is still as same, I suggest to upgrade the B1 version and the addon to the latest i.e. SAp B1 8.8 SP00 PL16. You can also log a message to SAP support but test this case first in the SAP B1 8.8 SP00 PL16 environment.

In which mode are you trying to filter data.....in the find mode the icon for filter will always be greyed out. in the item master data press * in the Item number the system will give yoyu a list if items which can then be filtered...the icon gets activated.

Where Used List for Master Data Entries

Hi folks,
I am looking for a FM, method, etc. that gives me a list, that shows, where a certain master data entry of an InfoObject is used. The BW system makes this check implicitly, when trying to delete master data, but I couldn't get behind the logic yet.

Unfortunately the two mentioned FMs are not helpful for me. I am looking for a where-used-list of master data entries, but not of InfoObjects. For example I am looking in which InfoCubes the measure pieces of InfoObject '0UNIT' is used.

The FS Items must be created via the BCS workbench, not as a task in the monitor. They may be manually entered, or uploaded via flatfile, or loaded via load-from-datastream if there is a source in BI for this.
Only when the master data exists in BCS can data be collected.
Also, there is no need to use the selection tab in the method if all FS items are included. In some cases a different method may be used for balance sheet (cumulative) vs. income statement (periodic) and in such cases, the selection is used so that the task may use bundling process.

Article Master Data View Extend in listing

Hi Experts,
I have already listed article to one site and logistic data is being maintained accordingly. Now, i like to extend/ list article to another site. Since the site is diff, the logistic data would also defer. I am able to list to another site through listing Tcode. WSP4 but i also want simultaneously the logistic data should get copied to article master data with reference to the site which i have listed.
How should i config the system in when i do article listing to another site, the logistic data get automatic maintained to article master data ?

We already have that setting in customizing for RFDC/RFST, when we list article to another site which logistic data may not be the same RFDC and hence we have to maintain it. I m looking for setting which can create logistic data of the site to which we have listed article.
Sales Data of the article should also get created which in turn helpful in automating logistic process in d system. Any help/ suggestion.

I am trying to display master data texts when doing a List of Totals records, but it is not available.
In my former projects, I always had the possibility to display master data texts by default.
Is there any configuration option that I should customize to solve the issue ?

Master data look up : Where used list?

I am in a situation where I have to find out a list of look ups (routines/update rules) on my master data 'M' table.
When I did a where used from se11 View on infoobject 'M' table it gives back few programs but I am not sure how to find out which update rules are using those programs.
Please advise.

Check the table RSUPDROUT and RSUPDINFO. It gives the update rules based on infoobject level.
Also try the following link which has a program .
Search for start, update rule, etc. that uses infoobject
