File appear open twice in manage open files

Im having an issue with the manage open files in Windows server 2012. The problem is that some files appear open twice by the same user.
Im using server replication between 3 servers using the same OS and the same data structure.

Do you mean that a shared file is opened twice by the same user when you go to Computer Management -> Manage Computer -> Shared Folders -> Open Files? Please check if the use is login two servers to access the shard folder.
In the meantime, you could use Windows Live SkyDrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com/) to upload the image and then give us the download address.

RSC Files Not Appearing in RH Project Manager

My three-writer group has experienced a number of RoboHelp/RoboSource Control problems in the last week.
First this is our setup:
1. Two writers with 64-bit Windows 7, and one with 32-bit Win 7. We all have the latest patches and updates.
2. Our RSC database is on a remote machine that has 32-bit Win XP.
After a time where our group successfully updated our project, I was given a new laptop with Win 7 (I had previously had a 32-bit Win XP desktop), we have now encountered the following problems:
1. No one can open a RH project from version control. We go through all steps and when we open the XPJ icon it finally crashes after taskbar status messages of something like "Querying version control." It thus crashes at one of the final steps in opening a project from the database.
2. Even on our remote machine, I cannot open a RH project from version control.
3. For some unknown period of time, it appears that the three of us have not had our changes uploading to the database because nobody's desktop RH project looks the same. Out of the three of us, I have many--but not all--of my changes up at RSC. I have no idea where my colleagues' changes went.
4. An unspecified number of files are listed in RSC as well in the File Status pod in RH but they are NOT appearing in the Project Manager pod. If I try to move one image file with the same name into a folder where the original should be, RH displays an error message saying that it already exists there--even though I cannot see it in Project Manager nor interface with it.
I have used RH for 11 years but RSC for just 1-2. I have never seen behavior like this before and it's really brought our entire OLH efforts to a halt. Can anyone tell me what I might do to restore, if not the database, a version of the XPJ that has as many of our changes that DID make it to RSC?

My G4 won't open iTunes correctly. It appears open in the dock but

my G4 won't open iTunes correctly. It appears open in the dock but no window will open and it won't show in the menu on top. When I click on an mpe on the decktop or load a CD, nothing happens. I have reloaded the program, upgraded, etc.

I am had the same problem for a whole day after upgrading my itunes, and now that problem stopped and I have now moved on to other problems....

How do I get system users/groups to appear in the Workgroup Manager list?

When I open the Workgroup Manager and select the Users tab, it only shows users set up in the Workgroup Manager -- same when I browse Groups. But, I also have a couple system users/groups set up not in the workgroup manager, but through the OS's System Preference interface for Users.
Is there a way to automatically have System users appear in the Workgroup list?
I also can't add users to System groups, since the groups also won't appear in the Workgroup Manager (like adding a user to the group Admin or Staff -- default system groups).
I'd just like the option to "show System users and groups" somewhere.

If I understand your post correctly then launch WorkGroup Manager and select Preferences from the WorkGroup Manager Menu. Enable the Show "All Records" tab and inspector option and click OK. In the Users/Groups/Computer tab you should now see the addition of another icon - it looks like a bullseye. Select this and under the filter field selecting 'AccessControls' will show you a long list. Scroll down and select Users. Now go back to the Users tab and you should see all users visible and invisible. You’ll see the same thing for Groups.
You will see different Users and Groups depending which directory node you are in. In the LDAP node you should only see Directory and System Administrator as well as VPN MPPE Key Access User in addition to any user you have created within that node. In the local Net Info node you should see users such as Amavisd User, Clamav User, Cyrus IMAP User etc. You’ll also see UIDs and GUIDs amongst a wealth of other information if you select a user or group and select the Inspector tab.
You can modify record attribute and values as well as adding your own. You can even use WGM in the same way you would use Net Info Manager locally if you wish.

If you want to add it then you need to do one of the 3 things mentioned on that page e.g. use iTunes Match on your iPad, use automatic downloads on it, or redownload one of your past purchases. I think that the 'manage devices' section will only show when you have one or more devices/computers associated to your account, if you don't have any associated then it won't appear.

How do I make a site appear in the Permissions Manager?

I forbid all sites to set cookies. The sites where I have an account are the exceptions. I'm finding it hard to make a site appear in the Permissions Manager. I tried lots of things. Like placing a bookmark in a bookmark folder, creating a bookmark manually, copying and pasting a bookmark from folder to folder, visiting a site lots of times.

Visit a site, click the site icon in the address bar, click More Information, click Permissions, set the permissions for the site that you're visiting.

Adobe Premiere wont appear in my Application Manager list for download

I have just purchased Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 for 19.90 each monthly. When i went to download Photoshop it appeared in my Adobe application Manager list and allowed me to install it with no issues. However when i went to download Adobe Premiere Pro it does not appear in my Adobe manager list and thus wont allow me to install it. Where do i install Adobe Premiere and why won't it let me install it as it doesn't appear in my adobe application manager?

I suspect you're running a 32 bit system in which case it will not appear in the AAM for download.

I can't open an .ai file in Illustrator without a dialog box appearing "Open PDF." I have no idea what I can't open it as an Illustrator file (and not a PDF)

Once I open a page as a PDF, all my layer info is lost. I've tried opening it on two machines and the dialog box continues to appear. Again, it's not a PDF extension.

Since you're sure you saved it back to CS5, the issue might have been caused by saving directly to the server. Illustrator does not particularly like that.
90% of corrupt files are caused by saving directly to the server.
You might try and first copy the file to your harddisk and then open it from there. Opening files directly from the server is an issue as well.

When attaching docs to email they appear open in the email and I just want an icon so I can send a pdf file.

I want to be able to send, for example a .pdf file as an email attachment, but when I use the paper clip to browse and attach a docuemnt it opens the document and pastes the words in rather than leaving an icon.

Mail menu/Edit/Attachments - uncheck 'always insert attachments at end of message'.

When I click on Firefox, it won't open... the icon flashes as if opening but no browser window opens. It also does not appear in the task manager

So I uninstalled it leaving my preferences, and reinstalled it but it does the same thing. This time when I went to uninstall it again wiping the preferences away (in case it is those that is causing the problem) the uninstall program said that I had to close firefox first... but it isn't showing up as open in the task manager....
Final though... the last few weeks I have had a page pop up to advertise a need to update this or that, a need to click on this or that... obviously some kind of bug/virus.... help me get firefox going again...

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Mail appears open in dock but nothing on screen! Help!

I have this bizarre problem where i go to open my mail on my imac, i click the app in the dock, it bounces once, then the black arrow next to it appears. But nothing appears on screen. No windows, no error messages, nothing. But i do get the Mail bar at the top of the screen with 'File', 'Edit','View' etc etc.
This has never happened before. I have tried opening Mail from the App folder, restarted my computer 6 times, repaired disk permissions, but still no joy.
Anyone have any idea of what may be the problem may be, would be very much appreciated.

Ok try the "Rebuild" command under the "Mailbox" menu. Failing this it may be a good idea to backup your mailboxes, reinstall Mail from your system disk, update and re-import your mailboxes.

Appearing/Opening in Internet Explorer

I have created my website in Dreamweaver CS4, it appears and works when it is opened in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer or any other brower like Safari. The fault is on the page you provided in the link. If you based other pages on that code then all will have to be corrected. Correcting these will solve your display issues because your code is invalid starting at line 6. So anything after line 6 (the link code) may not display correctly in any browser.

Emails appearing opened

Emails coming to my device appear as already read eventhough I haven't opened them yet. I have a Q10 but had this issue with my Bold as well. My service provider is Rogers and the emails are from my @rogers account. Would this be a setting on the email preferences on my home computer (I use Mac mail) or on the actual device?

Thank you for your question regarding email appearing as opened when received on your BlackBerry Q10 smartphone.
In most cases, this occurs when a message is being marked as read on the mail server and reconciling to the BlackBerry smartphone.
You can verify this by viewing the messages on a webmail login to see if they also appear as read. If all else fails you may want to contact your mail service provider to investigate.

Apps appearing "open" in the dock that are not

I have noticed that after upgrading to Mountain Lion, exactly two apps appear permanently "open" in the Dock (glowing dot) while in fact they are not open. This only happens with two apps at the moment: Skype and Billings by Marketcircle.
Precisely, if I leave any of two apps open before a restart and mark the corresponding dialogue to open all windows anew, Skype and Billings will not open but will show as open in the Dock. A double click then regularly launches the app.
Has anyone seen this?

You say they are open but in fact they are not. It is true they are not Open, Open but they are active! If you do not want apps to be "Active' at login you must quit app before shutdown, if you do not ever want any apps to be "Active" at login then do this as shown here....
